Friendly staff, clean camp sites and good location.

We enjoyed our stay in a Deluxe Cabin that was peacefully nestled in the shady wooded area by the Nature Trail and Pavillion. The location was perfect for camping relaxation when desired and close enough to walk to all the Campground amenities. The pool was very nice with a Lifeguard on duty. Additionally, the Lodge had many items that were interesting and plenty of camping supplies and treats.

Nice location convenient to Washington/Baltimore/Annapolis. Space was not level and a little short for our rig but easy in and out. Shower/restrooms were nice. good laundromat. Plenty of walking area for pets. K9 Park got very wet and muddy from rain but couldn't be helped. We would stay here again when traveling to the area.

Our stay at the Capital KOA was overall very good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The site we were assigned was not very level as we had to use approximately 4 1/2” of blocking to keep our rear wheels in contact with the ground. This site also had a 4” curb we had to drive off to get out of our site. Both of these items were unexpected, but not insurmountable. We’ll stay here a

The cabins were adorable and clean. The park was beautiful, clean and the store was well stocked and staffed by nice workers. Bathrooms were always clean too and the laundry room really helped out when we decided to extend our stay a few days!!! If we ever get back to that area we will definitely be staying there again! :)

Was very nice place. People were helpful and facilities well maintained. hot water went out in showers on our last day but that was minor, went to the pool showers. Enjoyed the pool and the quiet surroundings. i hope they get their shuttle service running again. I'd like to see more 50 amp service with sewer service

The roads through the camp were very narrow, with rather sharp curves. Parking a vehicle was difficult, when we had (local) guests. We were on a long trip, only staying overnight, coming and going. We were unable to use the "pull-through" of our site due to trees, and other vehicles, having to back our trailer up to exit.

Enjoyed our stay! Clean, nice pool. Our site backed up to another site's campfire....so we suffered with smoke in our RV.. Hosts were pleasant.

We had a very uneven site and we couldn’t run our refrigerator for 3 days because we couldn’t get level. On our departure day it took us 3 hours to hitch because we had a new Hensley hitch and it was our first time using it. My husband had just had 4 levels of his back fused and I was very stressed out. The people in the office were not very nice to us about checking out 30 min. late.

Shady spot. Enjoyed the pool. Staff very friendly. Store well stocked. Suggest waiting to start the movie until sun goes down so it can been seen on the outdoor screen. Would be prefer that specific sites could be reserved instead of not knowing what site you'll be on until check in.

Location, location, location. So close to downtown DC. Nice park, too. The front part suits those that don't like trees and want direct sun, the back part suits those of us who prefer trees and shade. Well run, very pleasant, etc.

In the middle of Cicada X season, the team made it bearable to be with the bugs!! Great site, nice pool, shop was helpful, playground was loved by grandkids!

quick overnight stay as we were heading north. would love to come back to this park and stay longer. exceptionally clean and great scenery.

Those working there are very nice and friendly, from the office to those working to keep the campground pristine. The entire place is landscaped, flowers and bushes everywhere, even between some of the campsites. Plenty of wooded site with mature trees. The water tasted good and no issues with low voltage electric like we have had at several campgrounds. Beautiful place to stay & a nice pool.

Bathrooms were always dirty. The campsite was at a weird angle which made it difficult to get our camper and vehicle off the road, and the hookups were barely reachable. The office workers were so very friendly though.

Not much to do during the week and a lot of full timers living in the camp. Pool was OK but much of the amenities were dated and needed plenty of upkeep

Over all the facilities were nice. However my daughter and I were disappointed when we were asked to leave the pool early during our stay because they didn't have another lifeguard to put on duty.

The manager was so rude to my daughter. Her cabin had an odor so bad that she could not stay in the cabin. All they wanted to do was spray it and she could not be breathing in the fumes. They would not give her another one and not give her money back. She had to rent a hotel. The manager yelled at her and was so rude. As the week and into the weekend there were cabins empty.

Had a great site and electric, water and sewer all worked great. KOA handled our incoming mail and packages perfectly. We used the laundry three times during our stay and it is one of the best laundries we have experienced. Loved the camp store! The KOA is perfectly located to visit DC, Baltimore or Annapolis and it is such a beautiful place, too.

We chose this KOA to be close to our nephew's Commissioning week at the Naval Academy. The campground was nice,, but we were disappointed that we could not take the bus to DC while we were there.

This is the bast campground around!! Their customer service is fantastic. Cheryl and Bob do an amazing job running the campground and their staff is so so accommodating. Tricia is such an asset to the team and always willing to assist customers any way she can! Thank you Capitol KOA

Road noise was high. Too expensive. Stayed for a month and didn’t get any price break. Have several full timers there and I know they didn’t pay $1900 per month.

Campground was well kept and clean. Bathrooms could use updating. Our site was not level at all. Looked like many campers had a similar issue. If I came back I would request a specific site to not be in the same situation again.

I never wrote reviews but felt the need to here. The staff was dramatically unfriendly, the accommodations were lacking and not in line with what I see at almost every other Koa. It’s the one campsite I’ve stayed at that I can say I won’t return or recommend.

It was good enough for what we needed. It was off season and we were happy to get a place to stay. Our spot wasn't great due to the size of our rig and the spot was up an incline then we had to go back and forth to find most level spot. Other spots much more level but in all fairness we might have asked for this spot not realizing how it was in real life. Easy to get to in snd out. No narrow barriers. You can unhook right outside check in office. I'd definitely stay again.

Great get away if you're into camping and woodsy adventures. Cabin was cozy...Great amenities..will absolutely do it sgain..
