Over all the facilities were nice. However my daughter and I were disappointed when we were asked to leave the pool early during our stay because they didn't have another lifeguard to put on duty.

The manager was so rude to my daughter. Her cabin had an odor so bad that she could not stay in the cabin. All they wanted to do was spray it and she could not be breathing in the fumes. They would not give her another one and not give her money back. She had to rent a hotel. The manager yelled at her and was so rude. As the week and into the weekend there were cabins empty.

Not only one of the most expensive, but the showers went uncleaned for 3 days. The only redeeming feature was the back deck off the cabin with a forest view.

The campground and store were amazing and well maintained. The nature trail was a good idea but needs a lot work. There are several muddy parts that required balancing on stick and we got lost twice due to the lack of trail markers. Adding trail markers and boards over the muddy parts would make this an amazing trail

The smoke detector went off at 2 am because it needed a new battery. It beeped five times every hour and then fifteen beeps at a time starting at 6 am. I waited till 8 am to tell the front desk and no one apologized or seemed bothered that I hadn’t slept all night. We left a day early.

We enjoyed our stay at this campground. The cabin we rented was nice but it had mice and the bed was uncomfortable.

My family rented numerous cabins for the Halloween weekend. The festivities were awesome, the cabins and public facilities were well maintained, the staff was pleasant. The other guests were very friendly as well. Would recommend, especially for the price.

Wonderful except the grill didn’t work well. They were back ordered on parts. Wish we had known so we could have planned our meal better. Otherwise our experience was fun.

We book two cabins. We was told that they will be close to each other. The staff pre selected the cabins that was across the site. They lied about the other cabins been used. The whole time 2 out of the 4 cabins in my area remain empty. We witness an employee have a nervous break down because a supervisor openly corrected her for not giving a camper their way. Customer service was excellent. I had to call after hours to retrieve an item from a cabin I had moved out of, and the night/emergency number worked well. The cabins were clean and well appointed. There was an invasion of ants one night but that couldn't be helped -- nobody's fault but the ants. I switched cabins without a problem. Laundry is superb. Showers were very welcome.

We absolutely loved our stay! It was our first time at a KOA and it will not be our last. It was a much needed break from the daily grind. Bob, his wife and everyone at the office were so nice and welcoming. We hope to be able to stay with them again before the cabins close for the winter.

Such a beautiful and clean campground. We arrived around 7 pm from a long road trip. I didn't realize the office shut down, but they had left my keys for the cabin in an after hours check in area. I didn't have anything to worry about. Thank you so much for your hospitality!

We have been coming for years at Halloween... some times were better than others. We by chance went last weekend and it was so nice and quiet. Bathhouses were clean and people were friendly. It rained, but we had a great stay.

The gas grill had issues lighting, we had go keep asking for assistance with it. We were just given a lighter and then later after several attempts- we were advised that you had to use it in a certain way.

So I’ve been living in this area for years. Always knew where it was but never stayed. I’ve stayed there twice now. Both times were absolutely what I was looking for. The environment being so laid back I couldn’t help but not enjoy it. I will be actually going again in the near future.

Some of the employees were rude to guess I paid over 1600 dollars and don’t feel like it was worth it customer service needs work need more things to do there the first cabbin I rented the grill did not work The maintenance guy said there’s nothing he can do about it and drove off

The cabins could have been better. Wilmington, NC has better amenities in their basic cabins. The special price was nice. Good location in the woods, but within blocks of all major freeways and shopping areas. Quiet. Well maintained. All the bathrooms are bunched up near the office. Office store is okay. Good WiFi.

Always a great stay at this KOA. The staff is wonderful and the facilities are kept clean. This is our go-to campground and year after year, it never disappoints.

Due to Covid we were unable to use the pool. The grounds were taken care of nicely. Wish the nature trail was taken care of bit more. We were unable to find the rest of the trail about half way into walking. We rented a rustic cabin which was fine, but the wasp were out of control around the front door. Bath house was cleaned and it was nice to have separate showers.

My wife and I had a great time! The people who run the campsite Bob and Cheryl, could not have been any nicer and could not have been any more accommodating to us. We will definitely stay here again!!!

It was good enough for what we needed. It was off season and we were happy to get a place to stay. Our spot wasn't great due to the size of our rig and the spot was up an incline then we had to go back and forth to find most level spot. Other spots much more level but in all fairness we might have asked for this spot not realizing how it was in real life. Easy to get to in snd out. No narrow barriers. You can unhook right outside check in office. I'd definitely stay again.
