Clean bathrooms, nice hot water in the shower, tent site was super clean (not a single bit of trash anywhere or anything out of place). They got a truck load of new picnic tables while I was there; the table at my site was aged and had character but was rock solid. Would stay again for sure, maybe get a chance to enjoy that tree swing a little more.

Assigned to the DW2 site - Outstanding - easy to access, close to all facilities. Will return next year for a week's stay next time. Staff could not be more helpful and caring. Will recommend to friends and family. Only drawback was Lance Station Road. Hopefully next visit it will be in better condition. We went out the Lake View Drive route. It was a lot smother and not far out of the way.

Was a wonderful stay! We where in a new glamping tent! The pool was wonderful! The place was clean. Only downful is walking up a steep hill to the outhouse. Would stay again!

We loved this park! It was clean and welcoming. The woman in the office was kind and helpful. Our one small complaint was that the site made it hard to level our motorhome and our steps were over a decline so our bottom step was too high to safely enter or exit. We cooked our dinner inside instead of grilling outside. Always have a plan “B”! We didn’t consider this to be a big deal.

We had a tent site and it was sooo quiet. Best nights sleep I've had in a tent all summer.

Helpful and courteous staff. Im glad i did not pay attention to some of the lower reviews because the place was easy to access and there were pull outs on the short road that led to site. The sites were not as close as others rated. I would stay again.

The twisty roads are worth the destination. Campground was very clean and the owners are amazing. I needed to check something on my roof and they showed up at my site with a ladder and even offered to climb up and check the issue. A GREAT campground, nice sites, pool, playground and VERY nice owners. Definitely worth the trip.

stayed 3 nights , playground for little children, general store for convienence items, deliver wood or propane to your site. Most sites are unlevel as campground is on hill! overall good experience!

Not great if you get site 15. It is atop the hill and the sewer connection is inside a planting of flowers at the front of the site. The site was relatively level, but our dlsewer connection is midway on the side of the RV and our 25ft of sewer hose wasn't long enough. We used the dump station instead, but it is on the side of the main road and the slope is away from the station.

The cabin was amazing, the grounds were super clean and everything was awesome!!! Can't wait to be back, and am definitely recommending this KOA to all my fellow campers.

Initial site #12 was so unlevel it could not be used with our 40’ Class A. We were moved to site #24 which did not require leveling blocks. Biggest concern is no breaker on the electrical pedestal. Had to plug into a live circuit. Campground staff were pleasant and very helpful, area was clean and sites were well spaced.

Even though I reserved a double side site, and we got it, it was very dissapointing the fact our trailer main entrance steps were directly going to a kind of raised bed with plants so we had to use the bedroom door for safety purposes and of course we weren't able to use the awning. In general the location is fine to stay 1-2 nights, but not for a lo ger stay. Very friendly staff.

Electrical issues with our site caused us to be up all night due to power going off and on and calling 2 times. The issue was with their power and not our RV. After email and calling, owner called back 2 weeks later. He was VERY rude and disrespectful. I was not disrespectful and did not deserve the way he spoke to me. I would NEVER stay there again and would not recommend to anyone.

Cliffside with Deafening Highway Noise. Narrow site with leaning shifty power plug in. Woman who checked me in, told the guests ahead of me the whole bathroom code, but did not do the same for me. I realized this when the code she told me didn't work, and I remembered she gave a different code to the other, older guests in front of me. Bathrooms at bottom of a STEEP dangerous gravel road.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. We can not do anything about the highway noise. At check in everyone is given the SAME bathroom codes, for you to suggest that we gave you the wrong code is absurd. There is nothing dangerous about our hills, Welcome to southwest Pennsylvania.

I realize it is in the mountains, but the camp site where grass is could've been leveled. Grass was high. Couldn't sit in my lawn chairs.

We had to make as after hours check in but the staff were helpful and pleasant. Our site was at the top of the mountain with a very nice view.

Tent sites are nice. Staff was welcoming. Pool was very nice. The area is beautiful. The only downside to me was that the bathroom floor was covered in small stone that was pretty hard on my feet.

Basic KOA. Friendly staff. It is difficult to get to with narrow and winding roads. All sites are on a steep hill. There was 1 washer available to use with a note that said due to Covid they were unable to update laundry facilities.

We were travelling back home from our trip to Williamsburg VA so I made an online reservation for this KOA. A little hilly and it did require that I used blocks under the tires to level, otherwise everything was great..

Sites are close and really uneven ground. Fire rings all lined up next to the road. Almost no shade. The whole campground is on a hill - so difficult to get down to showers or pool with out having to climb to get back to your site. Cabin was small, dark and not at all worth the $70 a night. Beds crammed in, no inside table.

Great campground amenities and loved how close it was to attractions in the area. The pool was closed when we first arrived but fixed the next day. Movie night was great for the kids and very clean, well-maintained campground. The only small downside was the sites were very small and not much room between sites.

This KOA is very nice. The toughest part is navigating the roads to get there. If you have a big rig, please be aware that the road to get to the campground are very narrow and a bit hilly. The campground staff is wonderful though, and the sights are level. We would definitely go back if we were passing through the area again.

The grounds were very clean and quiet, the staff were very nice and helpful. The pool was clean and nice. Our only issue was the site itself was not level, we tried very hard to level our trailer and couldn't. The pull through Gravel was very narrow so our steps wouldn't sit right on the grass, and we couldn't put chairs out due to the position of the Gravel pad and the sloped grass.

This place was an ok place for one night. First, this campground is on a very steep incline, some may have difficulty walking around. Second, the laundry, well 3 out of four washing machines were out of order. Those are the only reasons I gave this a 3 star rating

I was quite upset that the tent site I reserved costed $42.00 per night (June 30) and then 5 days later (July 5), it was $50.00/night. I was told this was because it was a "holliday" Well that day was the 5th of July which was no longer a holliday. The same gravel floor, same lighting, same bathroom etc. and you charge more??? Just because you can gouge the public? Unfair !!!

The United States celebrates Independence Day on July 4 every year. In 2021, that falls on a Sunday, so Monday, July 5, is the associated Federal holiday.

Though suffering from some minor growing pains, this park is very well kept and the staff is great. We had a small electrical power problem at our pedestal after hours, but it was dealt with quickly and efficiently by "Mark" I believe. We would stay again and recommend to others.

It was in the middle of nowhere. Bathrooms were locked and needed a code.(this was unaware to us at check in) wifi is so slow. Pool was ice cold. Playground is for kids under 5. Nothing for older kids to do. Sites are small and packed in. So many rules about sites that made no sense. Very hilly and unsafe.

Owners are trying. Could use some lawn care for certain. Spaces are extremely tight. They should half the number of spaces so people have some leg room. Pool was in good order. No stickers…. Which most people like to collect as they move about. Showers were great! For having stayed on what they call their busiest weekend I would have thought the grounds would have been tip too.

Just off the interstate, search for the correct exit, we took the longer hard way for our rig, but the nice lady at the front desk gave us great directions out. Nice clean park, good people and easy after hours access

Just like KOA website says, this is a KOA on a hill! If you aren't comfortable with hills and your camper you may want to find a different place but we enjoyed our spot - the view all around was great, the staff was super helpful. Our son used their small playground but we didn't get a chance to use the pool. This will be a place we come back when we come back to Washington, PA.
