Memorial Day Parade Waterloo 5/22-5/31
Our humble little home of Waterloo is the birthplace of Memorial Day. Every year the village celebrates the memory of our fallen heroes with a parade and many events which take place around the village throughout the weekend and the following week.
Glorious Garlic Fest Geneva 8/1-8/2
The smelly but oh so tasty culinary power player is celebrated all weekend long at Geneva’s lakefront park. It’s a foodies paradise in a beautiful location. What’s not to love?
Convention Days Seneca Falls July
In 1848, activists concerned about women’s rights met at what now has been called the Women’s Rights Convention in Seneca Falls. At the end of July very year the National Women’s Rights Historical Park hosts a celebration of that Convention. Music, speakers, and family fun are planned for this Finger Lakes must attend event.
Seneca County Fair Waterloo 7/15-7/18
Farm life has deep roots throughout the Finger Lakes and every year it’s celebrated at the Seneca County Fair. Located in Waterloo, the week long fair is free to attend and includes livestock shows, food vendors, live music, and a demolition derby among so much more!
Canalfest Seneca Falls 7/3-/5
Located in neighboring Seneca Falls, this midsummer party is a celebration of the NY State Canal, historic Seneca Falls, and the whole Finger Lakes community. Live music, local food vendors, games for the kids, and the famous duck races are all part of the lineup for the weekend.
Nascar Cup Series Watkins Glen 5/8-5/10
Race weekend is the event of the year for Watkins Glen. The picturesque town on the southern shore of Seneca Lake becomes a three day block party as it welcomes race fans from around the world. Enjoy the party and race at the Glen, but come home to camp for relaxation and s’mores.
IronMan 70.3 Geneva 7/12
This grueling race which includes running, swimming, and cycling takes place every July. Whether you’re attending as a participant or supporting your loved one, our campground is the perfect home base for your family during the weekend fun.
Wine Country Circuit Dog Show Sampson State Park September
Every September this weekend at the Lake goes to the dogs. Hosted by three kennel clubs throughout the Finger Lakes, the dog show takes place on Sampson State Park located on the shores of Seneca Lake. After the competition avoid the crowds and bring your pup and family to the campground for a relaxing and fun weekend.
Phelps Sauerkraut Fest Phelps 7/30-8/2
If you love sauerkraut this is the event for you! Four days of family fun all in honor of that soured cabbage. The highlight of the weekend is the annual Sauerkraut parade which winds through beautiful downtown Phelps.
National Women’s Hall of Fame Induction Seneca Falls 9/24-9/25
Every September the world turns its attention to the National Women’s Hall of Fame and honors the year’s inductees. This year’s celebration is the perfect time to explore the offerings of the Hall of Fame, the Historic Park, and and the town of Seneca Falls.
