The sites had standing water and mud. The dog park was a soggy mess. The staff was not friendly nor were they helpful. We called for days trying to change our reservation plus left phone messages. They don't answer the phone. They say use the website to make reservations however to change or cancel one needs to call. We won't stay there again.

It is our second year staying at this campsite. We got a much better site this year and more accommodations were open. We missed the free bundle of wood benefit this year (KOA should really consider keeping this benefit since the camp sites are so costly). We couldn't watch our local NFL game but cable TV did not allow us to. It is a nice campground and we are already booked for 2022.

Bathrooms were surface cleaned only while areas on doors and doorways were neglected cleaning. Waste basket in the shower I used wasn't emptied once in the 4 days I was there.

Liked the campground very much. Our site in Sunset acres was very spacious. That being said, it rained a few times while we were there and the amount of puddles and mud was excessive. The roads and sites need stone. Some sites were walking out of their campers into huge mud puddles. Our utilities were surrounded by water. Also, trees on the roadway should be cut back some, especially for big rigs.

This our 4th trip to the Watkins Glen KOA and we absolutely love it. every year we see more improvements and the facilities are always in great shape! We will be there again next September!

We arrived and had to park our camper in mud that was several inches deep. Our septic connection was 3"-4" under water as well as out fire ring. I had to dig several trenches to drain off the water. I asked if gravel could be brought out to our site so I could set up our site without slopping through mud. They said there was nothing they could do. Campground this size should be more prepared.

We found the campground exceptionally clean and easily accessed. WiFi was good; many unexpected amenities were Included—fitness center, indoor and outdoor pools, playgrounds and other activities for children (movies, zip line, jump pads). However, many were closed during our stay. Water pressure could have been better; drainage was not good at our site. Overall very nice.

Muddy camp site, water was draining into our pad and parking area. Should have moved. Way too many campers as the sites in my opinion were closer than most places. Everything was closed at 6. This was the most expensive campground we have stayed at and not worth the 105 per day fee.

Disappointed in the camping site we were provided. Standing water from poor drainage on 50% of the site meant having to navigate around what we called our ‘fishing pond’. When I asked for another site, I was told ‘we’re sold out’. No other accommodations like a discounted rate, free night, etc. very disappointed.

Very nice campground...friendly staff....but our space was across from a row of cabins when we were there and the cabin dwellers on the nites we were there were very disrespectful of the QUIET TIME hours!! Even in the pouring rain they were outside whooping and hollering till like 2am!!!!

We had a wonderful time and will probably stay again in the near future. Just a couple of things that we noticed and wanted to pass along. Where we stayed parking wasn't the best for the type of vehicle we had. Landscaping (tree branches) were hanging low, it would have been nice if the branches were cut back to make it easier to get from the sitting area to the cabin. Internet was spotty too.

Always a pleasure being here. I've returned 3 times so far, and every time I was accommodated perfectly. Great staff, friendly, always helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

We enjoyed everything about our stay. The only dull point was the young lady that checked us in. She had zero warmth and we felt no welcome from her. We were sure to direct all other contact to different front desk attendants.

Had a nice shady back in spot with patio. Nice wooded area with trails. was rainy during our stay, so did not explore fully. Campground with an indoor pool ! facilities were very clean, employees working and visible most of the time if you needed assistance.

The stay was without incident, but would love to see paved roads, so, less mud. The surrounding area is beautiful and the location is central to the things we wanted to do. Great having a fitness center and indoor pool. The staff we dealt with were great.

Internet service was very poor,attitude of front desk workers was horrible on Sunday when we were leaving and had an issue. Asked to borrow a golf cart so that we could search the roads for a missing pin from our trailer. We believe his name was Rich from your maintenance department was in fact very helpful. Your front desk people need to have an attitude adjustment when people are in need of help

Pros: Very well kept campground! Super clean. Friendly staff. Cons: a lot of things were closed. Army truck rides, zip line, bumper boats. All advertised but nothing saying they were closed. They advertise TV in the cabins, but they aren’t working yet. The key system stinks…it’s like a hotel swipe key so if you don’t have pockets, you have to find a place for the key every second of your

Great staff and location. There are a few sites that need grading and/or gravel to avoid becoming a pool or mud pit following rain but we’d stay again. Just pick your spot. Not F184 or a couple others until fixed.

Had a nice, private spot in the back. Site #179. The internet was poor resulting in frequently being disconnected. The Watkins Glen area is quite touristy and the campground fits into that description. It was quiet in the back where we were, but it is the end of September. I'm sure that the place is a zoo in the summer especially during the NASCAR races.

Excellent campground because of great staff very friendly down to earth. The campground is rustic yet well maintained and with all the amenities. Close to Watkins Glen and the beautiful gorge and Seneca Lake. The back roads with spectacular views and vineyards and numerous waterfalls are captivating and calling us back again and again. Thank you Watkins Glen KOA!

Nice campground. There seemed as if there were a lot of activities to do there. I imagine during the a summer, it would be I nice place. I only stayed two days an it rained one of those..

Unfortunately the cell and data service in the area is very poor. The campground WiFi was none existent so outside communication was horrible. Have stayed at 2 other KOA campgrounds during this trip with excellent WIFi. Encourage you to make the investment.

In need of major work both facilities and staff. Bathrooms, laundry and pool area not clean. Staff was ambivalent to needs and did surface cleaning. Cob webs everywhere , needs deep cleaning… Not up to standards of a KOA Resort for sure. Too bad because it is in a great location.

Nice and clean at Watkins Glen KOA! Big campground! Lots to do in the area. We like camping off season because it’s quiet but we’d love to come back in the summer to see it the area again!

This is called a resort, but it is not a resort. They don't even escort to the site or pick up trash like KOA usually does. The cable did not work properly. We didn't get most of the stations we were supposed to get. When we told the office we got the feeling no one really cared. They did have an indoor pool, but the water was too warm and the air too heavy with chlorine odor to enjoy it.

They were very accommodating to the size of my rig....originally we were in a small site, but they moved us without issues to a larger one!! The Campground was very large and had a lot of extras as most KOAs do. The only downside was the noise from the race track about a mile away. The cars were racing all day and started at 8:00 am on Sunday morning!!

A beautiful KOA close to the wine tours, downtown Watkins Glen, hiking, shops, Corning glass museum... A bit on the expensive side, but we will pay for the gated entrance, patio and privacy any day of the week. People who complain only about the price of a campground yet still stay there really need to do some simple research before just booking the site. I've been to many campgrounds, KOA's are not the cheapest, but they are always the nicest.

Nice clean park, lost of different types of sites, plenty of activities for everyone and its only a few minutes from Watkins Glenn state park.
