We had a great time! Our site was nice, and we really loved the swimming pond! It was clean and well maintained. My only complaint is that the shower didn’t have ventilation, so the heat/humidity got pretty intense. We all had a great time, and the kids are already begging to go back!

We’ve stayed at several KOAs and the Weidman location didn’t disappoint. We snagged the last site available on the 4th of July weekend. The owner called to make sure our TT would fit and the staff helped us back it in once we got there. For being a busy holiday weekend, the campground was quaint and had activities for all ages. Our family enjoyed the pond. We look forward to our next stay!

Disappointed with how campsites are set up our fire pit was behind our camper. Went to beach Saturday said there were games, had to go to office apparently it was if you could form a volleyball team, daughter was disappointed. Didn’t see crafts either ! Dj on Saturday left early and they made our visitors pay $10 even tho they didn’t come until 8:30 !

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

The crafts on Saturday was at 11:30 at the pavilion, Sundays craft was at 2:30 there also. the face painting for kids and families was at the pavilion at 1pm. The schedule of times was on the big board at office and in your welcome packet. DJ left at time scheduled 9:30. Thank you for staying.

The campground was very well taken care of. The bathrooms were really nice! Very dog friendly place with a nice K9 place to run your dogs! I used that multiple times a day. Loved laying out on the beach area they set up. They even had a ice cream shop that we visited twice when we were there! So beautiful! Will come back and visit again! ~Sarah Long

Very nice and quiet. Staff is amazing and so friendly. Showers and bathrooms are very clean. Pond is treated and nice beach area with a volleyball net. There is a small play area and a basketball court as well as a small trail to venture. Other guests were welcoming and friendly, too. We stayed in the deluxe cabin and it has a very nice camping feel to it with the patio and chairs. Five stars!

Everyone and everything was excellent. Extremely clean and well ran. My wife and I are looking forward to our next trip and many more. Thank you all for a wonderful time. Will be checking soon for our next reservation.

Extremely clean restrooms and showers! Nice trails. Loved the ice cream!!! Staff was very friendly and helpful. Sites were pretty spacious and partly shaded which we love.

This is our first RV and it was the perfect place to take it on its maiden voyage. Staff was completely helpful with setting up and everything. Campground was very neat and full of older trees. Extremely beautiful. Bathrooms and showers were surprisingly the cleanest I have ever seen. The K9 park was perfect to let our dog run loose. We will be back for some relaxation next time.

Bathrooms and showers are clean, people are friendly and sites are good sizes. Wish the fire rings were above ground and concrete surrounded, not in ground for safety reasons (easy fall hazard, my daughter burned her arm on the ring putting a piece of wood in). Wood prices: used to get a full load of large wood for $20, spend about $40/wknd. Spent about $120 on wood this weekend, small pieces.

Thank you Beth for staying with us. Our wood prices as everything went up with our supplier, lus we are now selling Kiln dried wood which is a superior product to prevent the Oak Wilt from possibly coming into our trees and destroying them. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Small and well kept KOA. Staff was friendly and the bath house was exceptionally clean! The pond was perfect to cool off and the ice cream at the store/office was a nice touch. Odd *cash* deposit requirement with the cabins that wasn’t well advertised.

Over all the KOA was small. Liked all the trees providing cover. The lake/pond/swimming hole was a great added feature. Large K9 area. Sites are nice, but close together. Everything looked realitively new. Registration/store/ice cream shop really nice. Staff was great. I really felt comfortable.

We loved our stay, our spot we were in and the owners were amazing. The only downfall was the “scheduled events” didn’t all happen so kids were disappointed.

This campground might be ok for smaller 30amp rigs. Dirt road, Grass sites. No level sites with 50amp. no sewer hookups. The dump station was filthy and difficult to access with our 45' coach. this is not a place to take large motor coaches.

Our campers that have been here and at our facility know how clean this property is. If you would of requested full hook up plus concrete at the time of reservation, we could of told you we will have them spring of 2022. Our KOA family campers enjoy the woodsy grass sites to camp on and enjoy.

We were assigned a camp site really close to others (which would be fine if you were busy), yet a whole row of sites remained empty. Since the campsites were not full, it would have been nice to be spaced out a little bit (like a checker board) instead of a whole row being occupied and being on top of one another! Overall a cute campground, but not a lot to do for the kids besides the beach

Staff was friendly - ZERO activities for the kids (an off weekend they said) yet the rates were the same for the weekends they do have things going on? Could use some updated playground equipment and the wood is WAY overpriced - 20$ for three SMALL bundles - probably won’t be back - going to try a different campground near here for Labor Day

All members of the staff we had the pleasure of meeting were outstanding. Had a very pleasant stay quiet and comfortable. Will return that's for sure. The owners are hands on and go the extra mile to be sure your stay is what you are expecting. Thanks for your hospitality!!!

If the showers were not CLOSED (private shower room door locked or water turned off) from 8 PM to 8 AM this KOA would get a 10 + 5 star rating. Great sites, wonderful staff, and lovely woodsy sites / location. Spacious sites helps to not see your RV neighbor. STOP the stupid rule to turn off/lock showers from 8 PM - 8 AM. Early risers and working RVers shower early !

Thank you for staying with us. We are still staying safe for our campers with Covid rules that is why our showers are closed after 8pm to let them set with disinfectant for so many hours as we did last year during covid shut down. We would of gladly opened a shower early if we knew you needed it.

Great people, but for $65.00 I thought ther would be full hookup and if not cable at least wifi. Very clean the patio was a sweet setup , not worth 65 by itself. I should of read the amenities list better. No fault of the Campground.

We are working on getting full hook up by next spring,we just became a KOA last fall so were still adding amenities as we get them. Unfortunately internet service isn't available to us since were so rural and in the woods, hopefully it will come our way soon. Thank you for staying with us!!

Wood was way to small for price you have to pay, got 3 bundle for $20 there were maybe 8 pieces of wood in didn't last a night

The Campground was nice and well kept. Very kid friendly. Bathrooms and showers were clean. However, 8am is a bit late for the showers to open. I would like to see them open at 5am. Campfire wood prices were way too high. Especially not allowing outside wood. But all in all it was a good experience.

The campground was nice. The price of fire wood was extremely high and didn’t get much wood. And every time my kids went for ice cream it was a different price for the same order every time. So the office staff needs to work on being consistent.

Thank you for staying with us. As everything has gone up in price so has our wood suppliers. We have no control over there expenses and the wage they pay there help. It is passed on to us the buyer to resell. Our staff is young and all learning the best they can, first big weekend for them.

Our family loved the campground, and will go back! But, prices are extremely high for fire wood and in the store, and you pay extra per person, which is not ideal when you have a large family. Scheduled events are great for kids, however their schedule changed a few times without letting families know in advance. Campsites are extremely close together, but we enjoyed our site regardless.

Thank you for staying with us! Happy to hear the kids likes the actvities. We did have to move times around due to running behind on some things like candy bar bingo and such. Our wood prices are what our suppliers sell it to s for and everything has gone up due to higher wages.

Sites are super small and cramped, description of site was deceiving. Limited and poor quality facilities considering the price. Quiet hours not enforced. Very disappointed.

Very few sites available at the time you booked, as is why you got the site you did. We would of liked to give you a bigger site. We do rounds for quite time up to 1 am. You could of called us and we would could of come down to tell them there voices were carrying. Thank you for staying with us.

did not get the lot numbers we were suppose to, made our party very upset. The campfire wood was a huge ripoff, we spent over $ 80. for your wood which was a fast burning small amount for 3 nights. Your absolute no outside wood, even from your area, absolutely sucks. Restrooms and showers were nice.

Your group was all together as being sites were limited for the holiday weekend already, your group was not in a square but in line. We tried to accomodate alll the groups to keep them together. Everything has gone up in price even the price our wood suppliers sell it to us.

Campground is quite and small. Our site was nice and shaded. Owners/managers were not overly friendly but fellow campers were great. Wood price that have to buy from campground was not good. Burned through $40 in first night with a 2 hour fire. Crazy. A dollar per piece of kindling wood. Asked owner if they had a waste container to borrow because we hadn’t brought ours, very inconvenient to them

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

We have no control over the expenses and wages our wood supplier pays his employees, which is passed on to us the buyer and goes to the customer. Our wood is DNR approved kiln dried wood, which makes it more exoensive also, but it is a very hot non smoking product. Thank you again for staying.

Absolutely loved everything about this campground. I loved that is smaller and slower paced! The cabin we stayed in was adorable and perfect. Very well maintained and staff was super friendly and helpful.

This is our Happy Place! We've been coming here about 4 years and love it each time more and more. Patti & John work super hard: it shows in the cleanliness and family atmosphere. It is truly a gem. We'll be coming back every year! See ya in the Summer '22 :0)
