Too much noise from the highway - but the campsites were ok

Highway noise was unbelievable. Got very little sleep. Pool and washrooms in campground were closed which was not mentioned on website. Told this when we checked in.

This location needs a lot of work. Only one bathroom open, which was awful. Lots of bugs (ants) and puddles of water in the bathroom stalls, very dirty. Fixtures old and unkempt, I’ve seen better bathrooms in gas stations. Shower smelled so badly of gasoline (connected to gas station) that I felt sick the whole day after having a shower. Overall location too close to the highway, and unkept.

Violence conjugale sur le terrain, vitre brisé, visite de 2 policiers pour calmer le tout... Le lendemain, le même individu a paralysé la station de vidange en essayant de réparer un problème de plomberie. Nous avons du rechercher une autre station et payer pour le service. Vraiment TRÈS déçu de notre séjour !

Highway noisy but campground itself very well maintained. Owners very friendly. Trees at start of road into campsites need to be trimmed back further for larger units.

Great place! Clean and tidy. Welcoming people. Sites are nice and lots of trees. Only unfortunate thing is being so close to the HWY is really noisy. But I would still recommend it.

Great Family are running this campground. Accommodating and friendly. They have fuel pumps for gas and diesel The best thing is the made to order authentic take away menu Highly suggest the butter chicken and Somoza s !! Awesome !! Thanks for everything Vince and Cherie

This campground is run down. No showers available. Bathrooms are functional but in need of updating. Methane smell from the sewer holes at our site and others nearby. A good place to stop. Hope it is fixed.

Very nice, well laid out camp sites. Only the main toilet/bath/laundry building was open due to covid. Good clean facilities. Very friendly staff and the take out Indian food (butter chicken) was amazing.

Not as advertised! Pool not filled with anything except green algae. Laundry facilities VERY outdated with only two washers and two dryers (ancient and double the price of most campgrounds)! Floors not level at all. Thought I'd fall through them! Extremely noisy as is located right on the highway! Had to leave the fans on the A/C units running all night to drown out the sounds from the #1!

Nice campground, helpful staff. The site was nice and large. Only reason its not 5 stars is its loud, being right next to the TransCanada Highway. Otherwise, great place to stay. Definitely would stay there again.

Not bad if you are pulling in late and only staying the night. Pool was closed and splash pad looked broken. Staff was friendly but the campground is not what I expect from a KOA, even though we were charged the same price. There was no fenced dog run like other ones so we couldn’t let our dogs run. There was suppose to be a pet path, but no signage as to where it is.

Only there overnight. Loved the pullthrough sites and the 50 amp. Very quiet camp except for some highway noise. We stayed here twice on this trip .

It is the noise that is the worst, highway traffic, you couldn't get any closer to the trans Canada highway. The only reason to stay there is because it's the only place around. Someone could make out very well with a better located park!!!

The site itself was ok. The amenities were lacking. It is an Esso/KOA combo and felt like it. The bathrooms were roadside gas station bathrooms. One had no soap when arrived and was not replenished when we left the next morning. The showers are on the gas station side so were not open in the morning. There is laundry and a small park. The pool was not open, but that may have been due to Covid

Alright for a short stay. Keep in mind you are beside the transcanada highway so a lot of traffic noise. Sights are small and not very private but close to city for travel.

The owner was very helpful in making sure I got a site that was suitable for me. I had some electrical problems and he came and assisted me. I originally thought the breaker in the park was weak but found out in a different park the issue was with my trailer. I have stayed here number of times over the years. The park is clean and owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.

When I called about our lack of power at our premium site, I was told the power was out all over. Very upset to learn from our neighbors that everyone around us did have power. Would have been nice if someone had at least checked the breaker when I called! Spent a miserable night in the dark, unable to open our slides or make a meal listening to the highway traffic.

We’ve always stayed at KOAs previously without hesitation, however this campground has proven to us that we should not assume all KOAs are pristine and worthy of our business. It had a run down look and feel and did not appear to be well cared for. Also, it is about as close to the Trans Canada highway as a roadside campground could be, therefore road noise was constant and relentless.

The site we were on was just too small for our trailer -- could not park our truck at the same site. There were plenty of open larger sites, I don't know why the guy would have tried to sell me one of them instead. Pool was closed. And Wi-Fi was TERRIBLE -- do not count on it if you need to work, even if you just need to send emails

This is a great park. It's nice that it's near the highway. It's also not nice it's beside the highway. That being said, it wasn't too noisy. We LOVED the curry dinner.

Staff friendly. Would have appreciated that there were more bathrooms open and available, closer to our camp site. Pool still not open despite other KOAs having opened their pools.

The owners are wonderful people! The campground is clean and has everything you need. The location is close enough to the city to do the city stuff, while being far enough from the city to feel like you're camping. Highly recommend!
