English Pea Casserole
Ingredients
Makes 12
- 4 boxes or 3 sacks English Peas (40 ounces)
- 2-3 hard-boiled eggs for garnish
- 1 can chopped water chestnuts
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 can sliced mushrooms
- 1 small jar pimentos
- 1 small container sour cream
- 1 small package sharp cheddar cheese (grated)
Preparation
Cook peas until done, but don't overcook. Drain. Mix all other ingredients except boiled eggs. Add peas. Bake in 9 X 13" pan at 350 degrees until bubbly. Top with sliced boiled eggs.
