Frosted Meat Loaf
Ingredients
Makes 6
- 1 1/2 pound(s) ground beef
 - 1 c soft bread crumbs
 - 1 c water
 - 2 tsp instant vegetarian style bouillon
 - 1 egg
 - 5 potatoes, peeled
 - 1 tsp instant beef style bouillon
 - 1/3 c hot milk
 - 3 Tbsp butter
 
Preparation
Blend beef with bread crumbs soaked in water with instant vegetarian style bouillon; and egg, mix well. Shape into loaf. Bake in a shallow baking pan in a moderate oven (350 degrees) about 1 hour.
Meanwhile, boil potatoes until tender, drain, mash. Season with instant beef bouillon. Add butter and enough milk to make a smooth mixture. Turn oven up to 375 degrees. Spread top and sides of the meat loaf with mashed potatoes, return to oven to brown for 15 - 20 minutes.
