Pocket Joes
Ingredients
Makes 4
- 3/4 pound(s) ground beef
- 1/3 c chopped onion
- 1/3 c chopped celery
- 1 8 oz. can pizza sauce
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1/8 tsp ground red pepper
- 1 small zuchini, finely chopped
- 2 pita bread rounds, halved crosswise
Preparation
In a skillet cook ground beef, onion and celery till meat is brown and onion and celery are tender. Drain. Stir in pizza sauce, mustard and pepper. Bring to boiling. Stir in zucchini; heat through. Fill each pita half with some of the meat mixture.
