Quick Easy Green Bean Salad
Ingredients
- fresh green beans
- red wine vinegar salad dressing
- Mrs. Dash seasoning
Preparation
Wash and break beans into bite sized sections. Boil or steam on camp stove until bright green, but still very crunchy (time will depend on stove and altitude). Place into plastic dish with lid with cold water for a couple of minutes to rapid cool. Pour in enough red wine vinegar salad dressing to cover the beans, and sprinkle liberally with Mrs. Dash seasoning. Soak long enough to saturate the Mrs. Dash (approximately 5-10 minutes), with occasional stirring, and serve. The longer the beans marinate, the better they taste, so if you can prepare the salad earlier, it's better.
