Simple Herb Salmon
Ingredients
- 4 salmon filets (skin on is best but skinless works too)
- 1/4 c butter or margarine
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp dill
- 1 tsp basil
- 1 tsp parsley
- salt and pepper
Preparation
Combine herbs, pepper and butter and heat on low until butter is melted. Place salmon on foil (skin side down) and salt lightly. Pour butter/herb mixture over salmon. Close (tent) foil and cook on bbq for 15 - 20 minutes (skin side down). Can also be cooked over coals. Serve with rice and veggies and you've got a delicious simple meal. (Substitute any of your favorite herbs for a different flavour, add cayenne for a little spice).
