Teriyaki Pork Chops
Ingredients
Makes 8
- 1/2 c soy sauce
 - 1/2 c water
 - 1 Tbsp sugar
 - 1 tsp ginger
 - 1 clove garlic, minced
 - 8 pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
 - 1 envelope seasoned coating mix for pork
 
Preparation
Combine soy sauce, water, sugar, ginger and garlic in a large shallow baking dish. Place pork chops in marinade for 30 minutes; turn once after 15 minutes. Empty seasoning coating mix into plastic shaker bag. Remove pork chops from marinade and shake off excess. Shake 2 chops at a time in bag until evenly coated. Arrange chops in single layer on rack in shallow pan. Bake at 425 degrees for 40 - 45 minutes. Always cook pork thoroughly. Serve with hot cooked rice or curried rice, if desired.
