Whisky Camp Fire Beans
Ingredients
- 2 cans pork and beans
- 2 Tbsp honey
- 2 Tbsp hot mustard
- fresh chopped white onion
- 2 thick cut bacon strips
- 1 jigger shot of whiskey
Preparation
In heavy pan heat bacon until crisp and you can crumble it. Pour in beans without draining any of the fat out of the pan. Add onion, honey and mustard. Let it simmer until the onions are done to your taste. Now the best part!!!! REMOVE FROM ANY OPEN FLAME and slow pour the whisky around the pot to get it even. Stir well and put back on the heat until you are ready to serve.
