The purpose of the Kampgrounds of America Foundation is to support KOA, Inc.’s mission of connecting people to the outdoors and each other. Funded by 1% of KOA, Inc.’s pre-tax profits, the KOA Foundation will help bring people together outside while conserving our natural spaces.

The KOA Foundation opens doors to the outdoors by:

  • Providing opportunities for various communities, particularly those under-represented or underprivileged, to access nature.
  • Supporting local organizations and efforts in areas in which KOA, Inc. operates properties and its employees live.
  • Giving to conservation efforts so that generations to come may enjoy the outdoors.

As an outdoor hospitality company with a core belief that the outdoors is fun and for everyone, KOA, Inc. recognizes that we all must be stewards of our natural spaces and outdoor recreation opportunities. The Kampgrounds of America Foundation will strive to increase opportunities for all to access and engage with the outdoors, make positive impacts in the communities where we live and work and help preserve outdoor spaces for years to come.
