Very convenient. Well-maintained. Clean bathrooms. Attractive area for tents. Our only complaint is that there were a multitude of pesky stickers growing in patches in the grass area where we were to set up our tent. They would stick to the bottoms of our shoes so it was even more important to leave them outside the tent. We would stay here again, however!

KOA hosts were friendly and professional. RV sites are nice/well maintained, however, the park isn't ideal for RVs with slide outs. The concrete slabs, walls and stationary tables create a logistics issue for set up; it's difficult to park within allotted spaces and be able to operate a slide out. Security is lacking. Two vans full teenagers pulled in, used the restrooms and then left.

You are correct we do have some obstacles that we can not move but I thought we got you in just fine and you were able to park your truck right next to your site. As for the 2 vans there was a mix up on where they were suppose to camp but it got worked out in the morning.

One of the nicest KOA campgrounds we have been in. Good sites, good location, good clubhouse and store, very helpful people.

The stay was amazing. Sandy was great to work with. She truly went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Loved this place and will sure be back!!

We were very pleased with our stay at Alamogordo/White Sands KOA especially since we arrived late at night & our spot was all ready for us. So glad we stayed there & it was quiet all night letting us sleep & no obnoxious smells either.

Site was level and very private. Nice people working there. The showers were awful. They had no cold water and the temperature coming out of the faucet was scalding hot.

We only stayed one night, as we were just passing through. The park was clean, organized and quiet. Staff was excellent professional and courteous. The only reason I didn’t leave a 5 star review is the trains honking and rolling through town all night.

We appreciated being able to stay a second night even if the spot wasn't used much because it had no sewer. Close to sand dunes and friendly staff.

The management is kind and the place is very clean. The noise from traffic and trains is terrible. Probably 6 trains in one night all blaring horns for miles. Trucks on highway 3 blocks away, and the last straw: The seemingly minor road it’s next to turns out to lead to a waste transfer station (dump). Very Loud trucks going back and forth starting 5:30 AM.

Thanks for staying with us. We are in town so we have town noises and yes the neighborhood train. As for being near a dump we are not but there is some heavy equipment going by a side road due to some road construction 2 blocks away.

Beat journey Ive ever stayed at. Pool was drained for the winter but the bathroom was clean and private and the sites were nice. Parked our truck (pulling a car) up by the office. All was safe. Great place to rest for the night.

Wonderful place, clean and friendly staff. Nice lounge room. The reason for the four star is that a train toots by just when you’re trying to sleep. Not sure that can be fixed.

We liked the stay, hostess were so attentive and nice. The prices at the store on souvenirs, shirts, etc were so affordable.

Ellen and Sandy were very nice hosts and explained all the campground features to us. The campsites are level and have nice picnic tables and wind blocks at each site. We were very happy staying there.

Very close to White Sands National Park and provided the sleds and wax free of charge! Super fun! Clean park and friendly staff. Train is close and a few barking dogs, but that did not take away the great park.

We loved our stay! We had a large, beautiful , pull thru site with a paver brick patio. It had full hookups, a grill, fire pit, a swing, even a lamppost! It’s a 20 minute drive away from White Sands National Park. A fantastic KOA!

Very nice hosts. Store was well stocked, and good recreational materials. They let us borrow sleds to take out to White Sands. Not so good: wifi, and trains.

All of our interactions with their staff were incredible. They went above and beyond in customer service. Ellen was so kind and let us know early when our space was available. The park is well-maintained and the spaces are large and roomy making you feel like you have some elbow room Will return !

Easy reservations and plenty of room to maneuver the rig. The store is quite nice, the sweet lady really helped us figure out a late night food plan :) Dog friendly too
