They had all the amenities and were very accommodating. We would have enjoyed the campsite much more if it wasn’t raining, but would definitely stay again. They even had wifi!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at KOA-Alamogordo. Loved having access to a warm shower and power hookups even at a tent site. The staff were beyond friendly and helpful. Stayed here for a trip to White Sands, and the staff even lent us sleds for the dunes! Would definitely stay again if in the area.

The staff and other guests were very helpful, accommodating and friendly! It was a perfect location to some local attractions such as white sands national park and the largest pistachio! Our tent site was very close to the facilities (bathroom, REC center, camp store) and everything was clean and tidy. I would definitely stay here again!

Great tent camping experience!! The tent sites are large, flat, and included convenient access to water and electric right at the site. It was easy to stake down witht he loose gavel and we had no concerns about the smooth rocks damaging the tent (unlike some other campgrounds we've stayed at in the past). Bathrooms were also very clean and well the campgrounds are well kept.

Had a great stay at the campground was spacious and the staff was very friendly they also let us use their sleds which came in handy at the dunes.

We tent camped and had a large area with a fire ring, water & electric including a light on the pole we could turn on & off. Shower/bathroom were very nice. Staff was very helpful.

The bathrooms were incredibly nice! Much better than I was expecting for a campground. The tent spaces were also very nicely set up with a metal fire pit and a table. It was very roomy and we were easily able to fit 2 large tents in the space with room leftover.

Easy check in. We stayed in a tent site, there was plenty of room for the tent and to spread out if we had more people. The location was very easy to find in town. A little loud at night from the passing train, but so nice to have the nearby amenities (pool, showers, laundry).

Right in the center of town so it’s central to both the Sacramento mtns and white sands. Yeah! Bathrooms are updated and clean and it’s has a pool. Very well run! Tent sites have shaded picinic tables but no shade for tents (bring your own if you need it). Also bring earplugs as the town’s trains at night are loud. (This is the desert after all.)

Pool was nice, campground was clean, staff was friendly until my husband, when our camp stove ran out of fuel, placed a contained pan of food on a gas grill in a communal area for a few minutes and an employee stormed outside screaming at him that she would have to clean the grill now. So welcoming!

To be clear that was not a communal grill it was an RV site which we were expecting guest to come in that night.

Very clean and quiet, one of the best campgrounds I've ever stayed at. We had an awesome time, and the staff was very friendly. We plan on visiting again in the future!

Tent spaces were placed too close together and lacked privacy. The location of the campground itself was in the middle of town in a rather poor neighborhood. Before the end of the first day I was so fed up with the choice I'd made that I booked a reservation at a local state park and from then on had much fewer regrets, the camp there was much more scenic for half the price. I'm done with KoA.

Other folks loved how roomy our tent sites are so sorry you felt they were to close together. The town has grown up and around us over the last 50 years. Did you know that if you weren't happy with your site we could have refunded the rest of your stay but you just left and didn't say anything.

Everything was clean and efficiently set up. We came in after hours and everything was taken care of. We just had to find our spot and set up camp. The bathrooms were clean and tent site was in order and clean as well.

We had a lovely stay! The campsite was clean & well laid out. The staff members were very helpful and kind. They went out of their way to make it a pleasant stay and answer any questions we had. The playground is old school, and my kids LOVED it. We also had a nice swim in the pool, which was clean and well maintained. All in all, a great stay! We would stay there again if in the area.

The staff were awesome, kept up, help up money having sand sled there to use. Firewood was nice dry, shower and restroom clean at all times A/C in restroom. Pool was kept up speed limit in park was uphold

We enjoyed our stay at Alamogordo KOA site. My daughters loved the play area/ swimming pool, Game room. The staff was very friendly. Few things to whine about are the quite hours are not followed by the neighboring sites. Trash is not picked up daily from the cans. The hand dryer was not working and there were no paper towels.

Very clean and large tent site, with well-draining pad. It poured and thundered and our tent didn't get swamped. The game room was orderly and useful. Clean and well kept bathrooms. Good location. Highly recommend.

We stayed for two nights but should have stayed longer. There's lots to do in the area. We enjoyed the pool, game room, campsite. Everyone on staff was so kind and helpful. Got laundry done, clean showers. It was great! The railroad can be heard loud and clear from the campground. That's probably true for any place in town.

We stayed for 2 nights. It’s was very hot but a great and fun experience. My family truly enjoyed being here. I would definitely be willing to stay again in the future. Keep up the good work KOA staff and thank you!

We were only there for one night but it was great. Check-in was very easy and Sandy was welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of info on the area (great staff!). The tent site and facilities were also nice and well kept. Plus, only 20 minutes from White Sands. Wonderful experience!

All of our interactions with their staff were incredible. They went above and beyond in customer service. Ellen was so kind and let us know early when our space was available. The park is well-maintained and the spaces are large and roomy making you feel like you have some elbow room Will return !

Easy reservations and plenty of room to maneuver the rig. The store is quite nice, the sweet lady really helped us figure out a late night food plan :) Dog friendly too
