Absolutely wonderful in every way !! Grounds and sites were clean and very well kept. Staff was helpful and polite. We highly recommend this KOA. Looking forward to staying again :)

Really nice park with very friendly staff. Great dog run area. This was the first time we stayed at a site without a sewer outlet but the dump station was easy to use on our way out. We enjoyed our stay.

Not to many trains went by. Clean bathrooms. Nice Gift shop~! Friendly staff

We do have that neighborhood train and it does go by often.

They have several spots that don't have sewer hookups. They are there, but have been covered up and been out of service for a while. Although they have a central dump station, if you were staying for an extended time that would get old unhooking to go and dump and hooking back up. Wonder why they haven't repaired the system at those pads.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

To help explain the non sewer sites there are only 4 sites that have trouble and those sites are only used in emergencies for folks. There are 4 that were built that way due to the slope of the land. We would not put someone in one of those sites for a long period of time.

Staff was helpful and friendly, site was clean and well kept. Facilities were in good working order and we had no issues. Only issue was a barking dog off property, which is beyond the control of the campground and we recognize that. Enjoyed our stay and recommend the campground.

Quiet except for the train that will go by at 6am. If you have a dog there are a couple of nice grassy areas for your pet - but not the designated Dog Park.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent store at front office. Beautiful environment! Clean, quiet, and sizeable campsites. We will definitely be back. Also, great location to visit surrounding tourist attractions.

The Alamo KOA is a very pleasant place to stay! The sites are well maintained, so clean and nice. The privacy walls make it seem like you have truly individual areas. The public areas are also very clean and maintained. We only used the bathroom facility. We visited White Sands and they had sleds for us to borrow. We will definitely make this KOA our destination when we visit the Alamogordo area.

Nice KOA with long, level sites and nice separation between sites. Our patio site was probably the longest and widest site we have ever had - plenty big for our 45 ft motorhome towing a Jeep. The park was easy to get to, site had easy access, and hoop-ups were good. Close to White Sands National Park and only half an hour from Three Rivers Petroglyph site. Lots of stores and restaurants close by.

We love our cozy tiny cabin. The restroom with free shower is clean. The lady in the front desk was very nice. It feels like taking a vacation in grandmas house. Very close to restaurants, groceries and White Sands NP. I will definitely come back here with my families.

Kelly helped us, we originally reserved a tent spot we wanted to be able to park our vehicle on the site but the tent site's you have to park in the street so we asked him if we could upgrade and there was nothing available, then he found us a spot that had a problem so they couldn't let motor homes use but we didn't need need the electricity or plumbing, he was great.

Very nice grounds, friendly helpful staff, great central location for all the attractions. The pull thru was nice and long, but a little narrow for pop-outs with the stone privacy walls.

Wonderful staff, nice location except the four or five trains that went through blowing their horns between 9 pm and 5 am. Not sure if any other RV parks in the area would be any different.

Very nice facility, very clean and very friendly owners and employees. Very family oriented our granddaughter loved the park Will definitely stay at this park again. Thank you for a nice family get away.

White Sands KOA did not disappoint. Clean and modern bathrooms. Friendly, helpful employees. All grounds were litter free and clean. No broken equipment (i.e. K9, game room, Washer/Dryer) visible. Clean and level camper pads. We can all hope for more desert trees. It would add a lot to have a little shade on pad.

Fantastic service from all the staff. The grounds were the cleanest we've ever seen. Great gift shop, too. I would say it is the best KOA we have ever visited.If I could give it 10 stars, I would!

No Verizon service which is unbelievable given we have never had issues. I wish we would have been told as we need cell service for family and work. The water tastes so bitter coming from tap I could not even rinse my mouth, had to go out and buy bottled water and they charge $3 a gallon here. Sites are very tight. We are in a 35’ fifth wheel. Laundry is very expensive.

I wonder if you have gotten us confused with another park because Verizon service is very good here. Also our gallon water is not $3 and everyone has commented on how reasonable our laundry prices are.

We only stayed overnight, but it was a very clean and tidy park, easy in-and-out. Very friendly and helpful staff. We have stayed here before, and will be staying again.

All of our interactions with their staff were incredible. They went above and beyond in customer service. Ellen was so kind and let us know early when our space was available. The park is well-maintained and the spaces are large and roomy making you feel like you have some elbow room Will return !

Easy reservations and plenty of room to maneuver the rig. The store is quite nice, the sweet lady really helped us figure out a late night food plan :) Dog friendly too
