Turn off Highway 89, 2 miles North of Etna, WY (heading north) or 7 miles south of Alpine, WY (heading south) and continue behind the Airstream of Wyoming dealership. Follow the road in front of the Airstream dealership to our KOA.

Thank you for being part of our history!
Welcome to our park! This park began its life as the Grand Buffalo RV Resort in 2024. During your stay here you will meet members of the Decker family, who founded, own and operate the park. After getting our feet wet last year as a simple collection of sites without amenities, we have joined up with KOA this year and we are working to become an exceptional RV park with amenities that will provide the best possible experience for our guests. This change is ongoing and has resulted in a series of improvements to the park, with significant investment in further improvements coming over the course of the next few years.
Before opening as a KOA on May 26, 2025 we added:
Family-style bathrooms
Laundry facilities
Kamp K9 dog park
Playground
KOA Patio sites
Small general store and check in building
Currently we are working on the following, with a plan to have them available at opening next year:
Larger Registration building with a larger general store
Additional family style bathrooms
A second larger laundry facility
Group activity area with a pavilion, communal water access, communal grill access, and the ability to host more events
50 additional full hookup RV sites
2 deluxe cabins with bathrooms
In the future, we have plans for:
2 small lakes at the rear of the property. One stocked for fishing, and one for swimming/kayaks/paddleboards
A full campground walking path with additional water features
Pickleball courts
By the time the park is completed we anticipate having around 150 sites including several cabins.

We thank you for your understanding that the park is in the process of being built, and that may result in some construction noise and dust. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make your stay more comfortable. Also, please feel free to make requests for amenities that you would like to see in our park in the future.
