June is when the mountains truly wake up. From singletrack trails to rushing rivers, it's time to get outside.
- Snake River Fest (June 5–6): Celebrate river culture with a kickoff concert by The Deadlocks at Phil Baux Park on Friday, followed by the legendary "Hoback Hoedown"—a 4-mile race down the lower Hoback River on Saturday at 6:30 p.m.
- Grand Teton Half-Marathon & 5K (June 5–6): Take on a scenic 13.1-mile race running from Wilson to Teton Village.
- Kids Fishing Day (June 6): Bring the family to R-Park from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. for a free day of fishing, education, and conservation fun.
- Resort Openings & Sunday Fundays: Grand Targhee opens for the summer on June 12. The following day (June 13), Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) opens its Mountain Bike Park.
