I had a lovely stay at this KOA. The hosts were so kind and welcoming. It is a smaller, less updated KOA. However, I’m not looking for frills. I’m looking to relax, enjoy the outdoors in peace and quiet. Clean, accessible bathrooms. Flat, roomy campsite. That’s exactly what I got. Great!! There seemed to be some full timers or people that park their campers there for a while. Will go again.

Great campground! Kathy was fantastic and made us feel very welcome. We were just passing thru the area and, unfortunately, only had time to spend one night. Can’t wait to stay here again!

�� No masks worn, shower mold and walls separating, mildewed shower curtains, mini-golf course is a shambles, guests burning trash/plastics (the smell was awful), One female host thought she knew everything and would interject herself into conversations so she could tell someone they were wrong. She chided us about our parking ability and use of a surge protector.

Paid $178 for 3 nights, no sewer hook up, no bathroom or laundry facility. Understandably because of COVID precautions but very expensive without those amenities, we should have gotten a discount. A family member came to pick me up so there were two cars at our site for a short time, we told him we were leaving shortly but we were told to move the car NOW because "I said so" was his reason.

We had an amazing stay for my Birthday. The staff are all friendly and amazing. Kathy was just the best. She made us feel so welcome when we arrived and came by the next day and remembered it was my birthday. We understood the amenities would be closed when we booked so that wasn't a issue. It is a beautiful clean and quiet campground.

Staff was super friendly & helpful. I've stayed at a lot of KOA's & this is the first one I've stayed at that didn't have individual shower rooms. It's more like individual stalls, which is fine except the 2 on the ends don't have drains so if you're in the middle, the 2 people on the side of you have their dirty water running into your shower & drain.

Very friendly and hard-working staff. Unfortunately, we have stayed at better campgrounds. Not sure if the result of this campground is a budget issue, but it appears to need some repair and upgrades. Namely, the gravel and dust were a problem for us. Need better gravel/road maintenance. Fire pit on our site needed repair. Not a campsite I would recommend for longer than 1 night. Not next to lake.

Not KOA standards, you advertise Putt Putt Golf but it is not functional. Pool dirty, campground dirty not a nice place

So accommodating and welcoming making our stay feel like home. Everyone always around upgrading the property and working on projects but making sure you’re taken care of first.

This was the first time we stayed at a KOA and Kathy greeted us with a nice smile. You could tell she loves her job. She gave us information about the campground and several places around the area.

Very nice folks. Easy check in. Questions answered during stay. Quiet spot. This was our first time pulling a RV and we had no problems here at all. Just not that much to do in that spot where it is.

It was great!!!! Nice cabin very friendly people at desk. Well stocked store. I have been there a few times and it’s the same every time I love it there.

When in a check-in line, please keep your personal politics out of our stay. If someone wants to expound upon their politics, work is not the correct place. The lack of professionalism at check in and the lack of eye contact from the staff member after was... disapointing. Other than that, we couldn't use the bathroom facilities and the campground was not inviting to be outdoors. Feral cats?

The campground is nice and close to the lake. The staff is fantastic and friendly. However, the campground is a little small and close to the main road so you get a considerable traffic noise. All in all, it was a great stay and we'll be back for a lazy get away.

Very pleasant stay. The facility feels more like a state park than many KOA’s do. The arrangement of campsites gives more privacy than is common.

We usually have a great stay at this campground. In the past they have allowed us a relaxed checkout which they did not do this time. Also, when we went to check in, the two people in the office were apparently busy with something and did not acknowledge us for several minutes. This is not typical and I wonder why it happened. But we will visit again.

Not a very clean looking campground as I expect from KOA, I rate it as one of the worst, and we have been to many over the years. No access to the lake which is what we thought, and the pool is the size of a standard house pool. We spoke to many residents that felt the same way. The putt putt course is falling apart. Just overall miserable experience

Visit again: definitely Felt safe: very Site condition: clean. Campground vibe: vacation-y, shaded, mature trees, not a concrete parking lot, inviting to relax & very close to all of Anderson. Pad Conditions : gravel, level, lots of pine needles so keep that in mind for awnings. Spacing between sites: plenty Views: wooded with mature tall trees. . Hook-ups: easy & not too muddy despite rain. Noise: very quiet Staff: friendly helpful GPS: accurate Things to do: downtown Anderson!!! Cute, clean, fantastic restaurants, easy car parking, comfortable walking all around.

This KOA was easy to get to and we'll organized and clean. The people were awesome. Great place to stop at on our way through. I would definitely recommend.

Nice place to camp and very nice owners and workers are nice two. Deluxe cabins very clean. Bathroom showers spotless laundry room very clean owners nice workers are extremely nice
