We had a wonderful first time at this KOA.....The only thing is I wish they told us we could rent the golf carts when we booked back in April.

Great stay just disappointed in the handling of wasps and bees. Large wasp nest at the wooden playground 5 to 6 feet off of the ground. Was told my multiple staff there is nothing they can do about it. My son's face was stung by a bee in the bike rack at North Pavillion.

The only downside I would say is the water pressure is not fantastic. Wish the store stayed open a little later. Otherwise nice park to stay and see the sites nearby.

Great park. Very clean with many new features. Loved it. I Would not recommend to anyone not ready for the "golf cart" atmosphere since they are a bit noisy.

We just stayed Overnight on our way to Petoskey and staying on our way back here. It is a beautiful KOA and so much nice green space. Sits on a huge lake with all kinds of activities. Staff very nice. One of the prettiest KOAs we have been to. Considering a longer stay at another time.

We had a be nice time your amenities are wonderful, the only negative thing I have is the water faucet leaks and we had a big puddle of water when we were trying to unhook the camper

Campground is clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Even though there were minor hiccups at the site (not KOA’s fault) they were able to come up with a solution and were professional and friendly. We have stayed at several KOA’s and this is hands down our favorite. We are looking forward to future stays.

The camp ground was very clean and the lazy river was great. Definitely gonna go again. And had plenty of playgrounds for the kids.

I loved the camp ground and the people working at the office were awesome. It was quite a hike to the bathroom and not everyone has access to a golf cart unless you have an extra 80 dollars per day to spend. There was also an awful smell, like dead mice, coming from the dumpster area and we happened to be camped down wind from that. Otherwise, it's a great place for those with small children.

Was only there for 1 night but it was a nice stay. Only issue I had was the site we had. It was not that level as it sloped down in the front causing my front tires to be off the ground. Not an issue for just the one day, would pick a different one if staying longer. Other than that everyone was very nice, check-in was easy, and we ended up with nice neighbors from Michigan.

This is one of our favorite places - though it is jam packed on the weekends. I wish the beach front sites were grass and concrete instead of gravel.

Overpriced and overrated. Pool was okay, patio sites are not worth the price. Most of the sites are seasonal. If you think you will have local family join you for a meal at your site, think $20.

Friendly staff and a very clean cabin. Beach was a disappointment. The inflatables out in the lake need some attention ASAP. However the pool was refreshing.

We only stayed the one night. But the site we stayed in was very nice, well taken care of with easy access and for a drive thru -spacious. Wasn’t able to use all amenities, but what was used was clean and well taken care of. The check in and out process was easy and convenient. This KOA rates high on my list !

We had a nice stay for three nights. It was clear that they, the employees, were running a business. My son had fun. The pool is nice but small. The lazy River is enjoyable but be prepared with your own inflatables. The lake is nice as well. Wish they would have had a mini-golf like other KOAs. We will likely try a different place next time. The state park nearby is a hidden gem.

We stayed one night. Got a patio site, specifically for the grill, and it was out of propane. Office was closed, had to call the after hours # to get it filled. Very disappointed it was not checked. Did not need that after a long drive.

We had a nice site by the lake, the campground has LOTS of things to do - swimming, lazy river, lake beach, etc. LOTS of permanent/seasonal campers - do not take you to your site and this place is HUGE with lots of narrow and winding roads, challenging turns/corners. We have a large 5th wheel and they gave us instructions that would have mean a right angle back in when there were better options.

We enjoyed our stay. The kids loved the lazy river/pool and playground. Laundry was spotlessly clean. My #4 rating was due to the Office & store closing @ 5 p.m. We had just gotten their at 4:45 and the kids never had a chance to see what they could spend their money on. It's great to have it open until at least 8. Especially if you are a KOA.

Enjoyed our stay in cabin 901. The property is well maintained and the staff always goes above and beyond. Looking forward to booking another trip. Would like to rent a trailer to see if it's an option for our family in the future.

It was a beautiful site but just a little small. Very beautiful view and campground.

We all loved the lazy river. I wish I knew about reserving a golf cart during our reservation. It would have been nice if there was a sponge at the kitchen sink to wash the dishes. I think the manager told us we needed to move our truck which was next to our cabin, to let someone else park there, we all thought that was odd, because he said we don't like anyone parking there.

We loved our lakeside sites! Had a wonderful time. Only complaint was that the mosquitoes were bad and we got lots of bites!

While the lake was pretty cool and sites were good. The fact that the pool, bounce pillow and store closed so early really sucked for the kids.

The staff was all very nice and helpful. Facilities are clean (we heard they're trying to update them which they badly need so we're excited for that improvement). We've stayed here before and are excited to return next year. (Other campers we're driving around with loud music after we went to sleep so that was frustrating l, wish there was a noise time limit)

Typically short stay once or twice a year. Great place to stop in our travels and visit family. Usually nice staff and park has things to do for kids (we don't have any) and the town of Angola has shopping and other activities. Close to expressway. Book early. Like most of the family type campgrounds, they get full quick.
