The campground was clean, the staff friendly and courteous. The current management is doing an adequate job running the campground. Unfortunately, the campground is too congested and poorly planned. The roads are narrow, and the traffic from golf carts is very heavy.

We came up for a weekend to test out our new camper. We had a great experience! Staff was so helpful and it made us feel right at home. Tim checked in with us to make sure we had everything we needed. There was plenty for everyone to do and we will definitely be coming back!!

A little disappointing that the camp store closed at 5:00 and the pool at 7:00. I realize that we stayed during the week and that the store is open longer on the weekend. The pool and patio at our cabin was awesome. Overall a great stay I just wish I would have known ahead of time about the hours. It would be great if the cabin had a night light. I am sure we will be back with our camper soon

Seems like we stayed in a newer site. Sewer pipe was really high, there was no cable tv connection (didn’t work) and the wifi was non-existent. So I would have been better with a back in water/electric

The campground was wonderful! The facilities, activities, store, and sites were clean & relaxing. Kids had plenty to keep them occupied, we all really enjoyed ourselves. The only issue was the woman we had to deal with at the store. She was very rude, could not count money, and verbally acted as if we were the problem when she had clearly made the mistake. It was like dealing with an angry child!

Was a good place to stay for a day or two, however the campground was packed and it was not quiet at all with lots of kids, golf carts running around, fireworks at night and other loud distractions. If you don't mind the noise and crowded conditions it is a great place to stay.

Campground and cabin was really nice, customer service not so much. The store closes really early and the staff working the store don't seem to know what is going on. We asked 3 times about activities and was told there were none (a first for any KOA we have stayed at) only to find a flyer by the register with a list of activities. Not sure if this is normal or if they are short staffed.

Travel Trailer site w/ electric & water; Friend's vacation trip with 3 other campers. Kid friendly facilities. Kids loved splash pad/pool/lazy river as well as the jumping bag. Several play grounds and wide open spaces to play wiffleball and other fun games. Great shop w/ everything you need as well.

Nice campground. Only one night were people talked until after 1am. Staff very helpful and friendly. When there was an issue with the air conditioner, it was handled quickly!

We had made the reservation for 3 days, and the confirmation was for 2. We actually came to the camp ground to make the reservations. We did not feel that the staff was friendly in the office or else where on the grounds. The fenced in dog area was a mess. The gates were broke and would not shut correctly and the grass was extremely long!! This KOA not for us.

This place obviously does not enforce quiet hours. The people next to us were very loud and played music until after 1:30am and every third word there was an f-bomb. The way they talked made me decide to not talk to them; they sounded like bullies and these days you never know if they’re gonna get into a shouting match or worse. Or damage your equipment. I will not be back there.

The camp sites were fine, easy check-in. We did not use the pool. The fire rings were fine for a camp fire. The wi-fi service however leaves much to be desired. We could rarely get connected. And cell service is spotty at best. But that being said, we like the campground and I'm sure we will return.

We had a great stay both times we visited. The pool area is awesome for all ages. Spent a lot of time there and really got to relax. The only issue I had was with the grill in our spot. The KOA staff decided they'd wrap the grill grate as well as burner area. This was not a great idea as as my grill was heating up it got a gas pocket and once we opened it, it exploded in my face and arms.

Fresh water insufficient. Water had pressure but when turned on went down to a slow flow within a minute taking over an hour to fill only 3/4 of fresh water tank (75 gal) in the morning - delaying our time sensitive departure. Also, had to reposition motorhome/towed car in morning at extreme end of site to reach sewer location. Not good for $$ pull thru. We were late for a scheduled meeting.

We were threatened by Burt over the phone in a voicemail, he tore into our sister staying at the camper while her kids were sleeping inside. Absolutely ridiculous that this can happen without 1 single conversation. Rules were broke because we did not read the fine print of a contract. We are not rule breakers, a simple conversation could have resolved this, instead, we were threatened! Insane!

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

As it states CLEARLY in the first paragraph of the agreement, it is for two adults and minor children. Passing your keys to people you are charging to use your site (subleasing)is immediate cancellation.

Despite the poor weather, we really enjoyed our stay. The grounds were nice and clean, we will definitely be back.

I loved the inflated water park on the lake. So fun! The pool looked very nice and we enjoyed the yard games and jump pillow. I wish there had been a way to get a tent site after hours- we had to stay in and pay for an RV site with just our tent. Other than that, great campground! We will come again....

Had to chase someone out of my campsite. Had to listen to the kids on the beach after hours at night. Cable tv sucked. Our daughter came to see us and the host was very rude to her.

They have definitely added docks that caused way too many people to walk through our campsite to get to their boats, even though there was a path provided through the site next to us. The straw that broke the camel's back was when the KOA employee walked under the awning on our camper and complained about our hammock on our campsite not blocking the path provided to get to the dock.

We had a great stay. The staff was friendly and there when needed. The new upgrades the last couple of years have been nice. The shower houses were clean, but I would like to see complete upgrades to both. More shower stalls would also be nice. Other ideas: Adding a "tab" to the store. Snack shack at the beach. Additional Bike rack at store. Bike racks at Pool Area. Thanks!

Terrible management! Very rude! Disrespectful! Not just 1 but a few staff/ management! And not only once but a couple times Staff/ management was very rude ! Will not be returning and due to this visit my family members decided to camp at another campground. And my in laws were considering making this their permanent site but will no longer consider it

We held our family getaway at Angola/Hogback Lake KOA this past weekend. So many things to do for the kids and grandkids. Very clean and the staff so friendly and helpful!

We were on a lake lot, which has an absolutely beautiful view. The amenities are great, the pool is fabulous. The campers are very nice. The only thing I wish KOA would do is level out those lakefront lots.

This was the nicest cleanest campground we have ever been to, the staff was fantastic too! We stayed during the Fourth of July celebrations and WOW! what a celebration! The golf cart parade was so much fun! There had to be at least 100 if not more golf carts! The kids watching were thrown so much candy! The fireworks lasted at least 45minutes! We will be back again for sure! Thank you!

The site we had was tight, but all in all it was a great weekend. The park was well taken care of. Would love to come back, but to a different area of the park.

So the lake is awesome, pool and lazy river beautiful, all the playgrounds for kids, floats at beach area, rental kayaks etc awesome. What makes the rating so low is the size of the lots is horrible and the water is so rusty! Stayed 9 days and had rust rings.

We enjoyed all of the amenities! Rented a golf cart, played in the pool and beach, used the bath house. Pool Area was beautiful! I would say for the size, an additional pool would be nice. Also some maintenance to the beach inflatables. Some could used more air/better anchoring We were there 4 nights and all of us had a great time! Staff was friendly and the kids enjoyed the activities

Paid for a patio site, trash still scattered on the site when we checked in, grill never cleaned just filthy, pool only opened until 7 pm due to chlorine shortage? No vehicle parking near beach unless you paid for or had a golf cart. Everyone was speeding on those. Could not kayak. Shower door does not lock in women's bathroom. The only nice feature was the outdoor water inflatables.

It was just what we needed, a quiet and relaxing getaway with family. The pool and lazy rover we're so fun! The kids loved the lake and going on bike rides. Our site had no shade (no trees), so thankful for our canopy, but other than that it was a nice site. Thanks.
