Place is nice and clean, but a little small as far as site size's, Our neighbors canopy's almost were touching us. Go out our front door and we were smack in front of next door swage area.

We had a great time at Hogback Lake. The place was clean and there were many things to do. I do wish the beach were a bit more taken care of and that the pool was heated. Other than that, we couldn’t ask for any place better to stay!

The campgrounds is beautiful plenty to do for all. very friendly the camper all seem to be very happy. I gave it a four-star as our site was full of garbage that had been cut up by the lawnmower. I had to pick up paper towels and candy wrappers everywhere. That was the only reason for the one star to drop. Will go back this time getting a slab site. Maybe with a step up rate won’t have same issu

We had a blast. The facility was very clean and staff is very friendly. The pool and lake were all kept very nice. Great job!!

Lots if things to do. Only complaint was that we camped primitive in tents, but the primitive sites seem to be an afterthought. Not level, hardly any shade and very small. Only ten steps from firepit to firepit! Luckily, there were only a few primitive campers this weekend and we were spaced out.

Our campsite got moved after paying our $5 extra to guarantee site. But was move clear across camping area. We had ask for a different site , one due to camping with friends and secondly we had our two year old granddaughter with us and the new site was far away from the pool. I then ask if for a Complementary golf cart which they had available But was told I should feel lucky to even get to camp.

This place needs some repair. 1st off 3/4 of the washers and driers don’t work for such a large campground they really need working washers and driers and many more of them. Tv service is sketchy and the WiFi sucks I called the number they gave us for help I was told I needed a extender so we went out bough a $100.00 extender from Walmart and still had sucky service. I do not recommend them.

The only thing we did not like was the rocky patio. It is really was hard for the dogs to walk on. It’s a beautiful park otherwise. We were only here for one night so did not have much time to explore. We stay here when we travel this way.

Arrived late but found our documents easily. The pull through site was close by and the map explained everything we'd need. Happily the TV caught the game.

Great! Lots for kids to do. Pool and lazy river are nice. Lake is very enjoyable. The staff are wonderful! The sites are large and roomy. We were there for the 4th of July and the fireworks were amazing!

First I would like to say that the fire works show was amazing and that was the high light of the stay. We felt there were way too many golf carts. We were driving through the park and some ppl threw candy in front of our truck for some kids that were on the opposite side of the truck, very dangerous. We also felt the camp sites were way too close together and the pool was always packed.

This was a very well maintained property. Lots to do and the cabin was the perfect size.

Second time there, the help is all wonderful. Didn't care for situation that happened first night. Was there with grandchildren. Didn't realize you could only have two tents. Grandchildren had additional small ones. New GM came over and said we had to take 2 down. He said you ok with that, I said guess I don't have a choice. He then said we did, We could leave. Very unprofessional

Not very helpful they did not go out of their way to improve situation which came up. Dumpsters were over flowing for the second time we stayed there and the smell is terrible. Pool was dirty and they ran out of chlorine and had to close early. I don’t think they are very proactive in regard to running a KOA efficiently. Grounds crew was good that is why I gave them a 3.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. the dumpsters are no where near the site you stayed on so not sure how that affected you, the pool was not dirty, we did not run out of chlorine and we closed the pool at the posted time of 7p.

Have been here for years...live the changes that have been made. However, so many golf carts and kids driving them recklessly...more control over that is needed. Way to many floats in the pool.....need another pool -- to small and to much drinking going on.

We were not a fan at all of our lot, very tight, and then had the walking path to get to the boat dock right in the middle of it. Then all of the golf cart traffic was frustrating. And people's music was loud on both sides of the camper. The fireworks show was awesome though.

Exceed expectations. Great campground. Fireworks amazing. Foam party fun for kids. Golf cart parade awesome. Everything too notch! We loved it and coming back for Labor Day!

Pool and lazy river were great! Pontoon boat rental was great! Campsites were nice. Missing mini golf and an arcade.

The primitive sites are packed on top of each other. Drunk campers speeding around on gold carts. Terrible customer service. No shade at all at primitive sites and there was no warning of that. The extra stuff was very expensive to rent. My guest had to pay $20 to spend 3 hours with me.

We went in for one day when traveling through with our 40' 5th wheel, they put us in the way back down with some very tight turns with trees. They have spots right up front by the gate that we could have gone into as they we open when we got there and when we left. The park is geared for families with lots to do if you're looking for that.

Nice firework display The extra kid charge is annoying the standard family isn’t 4 anymore. There are only two shower houses and at least 1 shower was broken so that leaves like 4 showers for a billion people ridiculous for a holiday weekend. Also no band was disappointing.There isn’t a restroom at the lake maybe if one was open it would discourage going to the bathroom IN the lake.

Back in/full hookup lake front spots are very tight. Sewer hose from adjacent spot in middle of our spot. View of lake is nice, but would rather have a little more room between sites. Lots of seasonal campers/golf carts. Great fireworks for the 4th of July!

Beautiful lakeside spot with raised patio overlooking the water, we also enjoyed the addition of pickleball courts! The staff are very helpful and I highly recommend the scooped ice cream in the camp store.

Everything was fantastic. We stayed in 517 and only have complaints about the parades. The golf cart parade and especially the bike parade could have been better. Everything else was great and we can't wait to come back
