I had the best time, Everyone very friendly. by far the best camoground we have ever stayed at in the 40 years we've been camping. Tim and Dave are the best. Great Guys, very helpful. Looking so forward to coming back.

We had a nice time at Hogback KOA, but the pool closed super early when there was 2-3 hours of daylight left and then staff closed it earlier than that because they wanted to go home (6:45pm) We we're not close to the bathroom facilities so we never used them. Highlights were the lake inflatables for our teenagers. We are not from the area so there didn't seem to be much else do around Angola.

CLEAN! Excellent Park with tons of stuff to do. If your kids get bored in the pool with the lazy river? Take them to the other end and enjoy the lake. They have multiple inflatables(wibit type) in the lake. You can rent canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, and paddle boats for relatively cheap. And if you get the chance to talk to Mick, take the time he was great, fun to talk to and very helpful

We probably stayed in the wrong part of the campground for having young children. We did not anticipate the large portion of the campground that are long term tenants. The golf cart radios and noise kept the kids awake (it did not violate quiet hours). Loved the pool and splash pad. The inflatables in the lake are a great feature too. Could use a family bathroom and shower for parents with kids.

We had a FANTASTIC stay! We have yet to stay at a campground in MI, where we are from, that compares to this campground. It was VERY clean, friendly staff, and LOTS to do for adults and children. We managed to get what we thought was the best site right on the beach. If we lived closer, we would be considering a seasonal. We will definitely be back.

Our stay was great! Their is so much to do, staff is friendly and the park is clean. The only downsides are that the store closes super early (5pm), and the pool closes at 7pm. It was 88 degrees, we arrived set up camp and were excited to head to the pool - closed. :(

The campground is very family friendly. I wish someone would drive around at night to tell folks to be quiet at 11 pm. We had neighbors who were very loud until 1 am. The lake is very crowded. My daughter and I miss the trampoline as well as the free life jackets.

We really enjoyed our stay here. It's our second time at this KOA. We found most everything to be to our liking with the exception of the golf cart rental policies. We had several sited in our group. Some of us rented golf carts from the campground. When no more were available, we were told we couldn't rent from an outside vendor that we chose. If you can't supply it, we should be able to bring it

LOVE LOVE the pool and Lazy River! Camp sites are very nice and staff were all amazing too! Definitely coming back next year & hopefully as a seasonal!

Very crowded and expensive (we had a guest visit in the evening and $20 was too expensive for that and $7 + for a bundle of wood was excessive too). Besides that, the amenities were great and the setting is lovely.

We have never stayed at a KOA before, and we were extremely impressed with the Angola/Hogback Lake KOA. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and eager to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Top notch campground!!!

Nice place but we were told at check in the golf cart we rented was broken. Rented a cart because our adult daughter who was camping with us has a disability that affects her mobility. Were able to rent a cart from an outside vendor at the last minute and they charged us $40 for bringing in a cart from outside. Did not agree with this charge because it was not our fault. Otherwise a nice weekend.

We really liked our stay. While we did not have any kids with us there was plenty to do for family. Our only complaint was that they WiFi was poor and there was no internet.

We all had a great time. The campground was great. We rented a pontoon and fished all day. Went swimming, and cruising around with a golf cart. The staff were all friendly. It was a fun few days. Will be coming back regularly for sure.

Very quick overnite stay Staff very organized and friendly. Lots of activities. Beautiful grounds. Cons are bathrooms were too far away from our site and poor WiFi.

Sites needed mowed. Check out time is 11 am. You won’t let us check in until 1 pm. Gives you a 2 hr window. You were more concerned about cleaning about the fire pits. Wooden playgrounds are a huge liability and need replaced. Large screws sticking out, boards missing, etc. Main playground and the one up front with the wooden trains are not suitable for use with kids. Loved new lake toys!

Stayed on creek side 228. Came Sunday at check in time. The grass was at least 8” tall needed mowed we was in a group of 7. Un called for high grass they had several hrs to mow it had been cpl weeks not mowed. The creek was nasty with scum. They could had put something in it weeds cpl ft tall on edge. Weed wacker needs done. For the amt we paid cld had done better job. Store Shld be open pass 5

Sites have not been designed well. Dump lines are at least 10-15 feet away and raised so an even flow is not possible. The newer site locations are not level so the front wheels are needing to be off the ground to level. We had this experience and had to move our site. The staff was extremely cooperative in finding us a different site.

This KOA was a pleasant surprise and provided us with much needed rest after a long day of driving. We only stayed the night, but the campground was very well maintained and everyone was friendly. The bathrooms were meticulous. We would have loved to try the pool/lazy river, but the road was calling. Thank you Angola KOA!

We've paid our annual fees by the due date every time for campsite, doc for pontoon, and fee for golf cart. This Spring I was diagnosed with Small Cell Carcinoma and have been in extensive treatment ever since. We pulled our 5th wheel out yesterday after paying $3,500 and not camping one day. KOA refunded the golf cart fee. This used to be a family campground, not an overcrowded moneymaker for KOA

All good. Bathrooms/showers serviceable but not at the quality we’ve come to expect for Koa. Pool and lazy River very nice.

Excellent facility with a wide range of activities for family. The only negatives were hours office/store were open during the week days and bad gate on dog park.

We stopped in quickly for one night. The staff checked us in quickly and our spot was an easy pull thru. It was a hot day and the pool was refreshing., lazy river was cool.

we are very unhappy, our site was right across from the dock!!! we had people ALL weekend long walking right through our site, they'd walk right in front of us while we sitting in our chairs, when we were eating not trying to walk the property line by the hook ups at all I mean right in the middle of our camp site we got no privacy at ALL!! these were kids as well as adults, NO pathway was marked

Inflatables in lake could be safer with requirement of a life jacket or life jacket availability at the beach. Also, cleaning out the swimming area to rid of seaweed etc.

Very friendly staff. Clean and well kept. Fun water inflatables that the kids spend all day on. A bigger pool would be a little better, but it is nice to go around the lazy river.

We had a very nice pull through with a great view of a large green area in the park… this is a well run resort with plenty of family activities…

Did not appreciate not having the Pool Hours posted. Went up to pool to swim and was told pool would be closing at 7:00 pm and not 8:00 pm as was originally told to us. Bingo needs to be played more fairly with more games instead of 8 games you should be playing 10 to 12. Regular games of Bingo would have been n Ashamed that this KOA promotes the use of alcohol by playing "Boozy Bingo"!

Short, HOT. The gate key didn't work; needed help from a Good Samaritan camper. Narrow roads especially at intersections. Directions to campsite didn't advise taking a gravel road off the paved road. Reservation desk is also the sales desk for the store; It was overloaded with customers; Those with ice cream product had significant melting to contend with as they waited to pay.

Love the crew and it was packed but peaceful. Only thing I would highly recommend that doesn’t cost much is too Rake the beach every night. Looks so much better and when kids dig holes and then adults turn a ankle in one. Everything else is so nice and I heard others complaining about the same thing. It’s a safety hazard that can be prevented. I really like it there and I will be back

We always enjoy our time spent at ANGOLA/HOGBACK LAKE KOA. The only difference with this time is have one employee, he was an older gentleman, flying around on a red golf kart hauling a trailer. He would even come up to people stopped at stop signs and fly around them because he didn't want to stop. Very dangerous an scary. Especially with people walking and kids out and about.

Absolutely amazing campground. The management was phenomenal. We accidentally forgot an adapter for our griddle and they went above and beyond for us and let us borrow the necessary item. Over all my kids had a blast. We will definitely be back.
