The site was nice however the power post for the adjoining site was in our area, it seems to have been poorly designed or installed improperly

Great campground. This was our fourth visit and we will stay there again when we next pass through Indiana.

We were first time campers only staying one night with trailer trailer in tow. Your staff and service far exceeded our expectations. The only downside was your WiFi, never could get it to work, I could connect but it said no internet connect.

Very friendly staff! Arrived after hours but still able to talk with staff who moved us to an open space that was quieter than the original assigned space. Very helpful all around!!

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be back. Even though it was packed the bathrooms stayed clean and all employees were very nice and helpful. All of the playground equipment and pool area appeared to be new and well kept. The lazy river was a great addition

This KOA caters to seasonal residents. Being transient out-of-staters, we were given a site in an open field next to the highway and farthest possible from the lake. The road is used 24/7 by truckers avoiding the tollway. Our site was also about 6 feet below the roadway. No sound buffering. It was impossible to sleep so we left after one night & went to another campground in the area. BEWARE

We had so much fun at Hogback Lake. The staff are very friendly and available to assist you with any problems. We look forward to our next visit.

I thought it was a really great park! The pool is gorgeous and the lake is wonderful. The camp store and staff was very nice and the park was well maintained. My only suggestions would be to consider adding a second pool someday, also having someone monitor the inflatables at the lake. People were jumping from the top and not looking below. I fear that there will be a major accident there.

It was great, except Saturday at the jump island on the lake it was a little crazy and lots of possibilities of injuries. We made our kids stay away that day. The pool was definitely too crowded too. All in and all it is a really nice campground and we've already reserved for next years stay

We enjoyed the campground, but feel the lake/beach area was not great. there was a lot of algae and seaweed.

Golf carts were noisy honking their horns all night, children were unsupervised, bathroom showers were rusty, water was hard. The staff was great. Super nice. If your looking for a peaceful getaway, this is not the place.

My only complaint is that the Camp Store hours during weekdays closes too early (5:00 PM) and it is very unfair for anyone that gets to the campground later.

It was a nice stay—. I wish we had a pad on our site—— grass only on a full hookup. Bathrooms were spectacular- thanks Marcia!!! Pool was cool as long as it’s during week—- way too busy and small for weekends- lazy river is not relaxing when filled with kids . All employees seemed nice!! Different things to do in area- all less than 30 minutes from camp

We were really impressed by the cleanliness. The office and the pool were spotless. Greeted by smiling faces. Escorted to our site. We were right on the lake. Could not have asked for a better site!! Will definitely be back.

It was a great place. Clean and staff was friendly. Only complaint was how fast the vehicles drive down the lanes. My kids were not able to ride their bikes as they almost got hit more than once. Just couldn’t believe how fast they were going considering it was a campground…

We stayed at a campsite that had the concrete pad with outdoor furniture and grill. Definitely love this feature. Are 5-year-old son loved the lazy river and pool. Nice and quiet of an evening. We will definitely be returning next year when we have more time to stay and will invite family and friends to stay close to us and enjoy this campgrounds!

As near perfection as a campground can be. Clean, quiet, fun, and we'll maintained. Tim in the office/store was so nice. All others were great too. 2 wishes, later pool hours for after dinner swim, less growth I lake around beach area. We will return. ����������

I understand that you can’t show every site, but showing the site with the gazebo is very misleading. I have a 2022 45’ Newell Coach with a gross weight of 62,000 pounds and had to navigate in areas that I shouldn’t have and wouldn’t have if I had known, when making the online reservation, that the site was on the other side of the creek!

It's a nice facility, very clean, and staff was very helpful. We went in our motor home without a tow vehicle or golf cart. Some of the amenities were too far away to walk to in the extreme heat. We were on the lake, which was great, with a beautiful view, and we swam there. But we would have liked to check out the pool and the lazy river. We had a good time and enjoyed our stay overall. Thank you

The management staff at KOA in Angola Indiana is the worst management I’ve ever experienced!! We talked to Marian (assistant manager) and Burt(manager) Friday and Saturday about a seasonal spot becoming available on Sunday and we would like to take it. We were told the spot was ours but they had to wait until Sunday when the others left. We went in Sunday 9am and they had given the spot away.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. The sites are all first come first serve AS YOU WERE TOLD, someone else came in just before you that also knew there was a open spot, your vulgar tirade in the store in front of that guest as well as others shows that things may have worked out for the best.

It was a one night stay after a very difficult day’s journey. The staff was so kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this facility to everyone.

Everything was good, all amenities in fine shape. Staff were all professional & friendly. we were at site 109 for 3 days, grass needed mowing.

The campground itself is beautiful and many people are very kind and helpful. However there are some staff that are completely rude and unhelpful whatsoever. It never used to be this way and I don’t understand what has changed but if it continues we will no longer be staying there nor will we bring our family and friends and recommend that they stay with you guys.

Conveniently located off of 69. Nice big park that is well maintained. One of the nicest pools I have seen at a campground. Pull thru spots are very open and easy to get in and out. No shade on the 2 spots we stayed at in our way to Michigan and then on way home. Beautiful lake.
