There is something for everyone at the Angola Hogback Lake KOA! It is one of the most friendliest campgrounds we've been. We have now full time RV'd here year 'round for almost 2 years and have made the most wonderful friends. We are proud of our home base and the hard workers that help make our daily life easy and enjoyable. True you can't please everyone, most happy campers don't post reviews.

Amenities just weren’t what I imagined they would be. The only good thing about this place was their pool, although you had to bring your own float for the lazy river (which is quite small). Lake was very gross, golf cart that we rented barely made it up the hills, water had a bad smell, store was depressing, and wifi sucked. A big letdown and we won’t be returning.

We loved it, the staff is very nice and helpful. We rented a pontoon boat while we were there. The lazy river was a hit with all the kids from ages 2 through 11. The only negative thing I would have to say is that the store closes at 5pm from Sunday thru Thursday, which was a little early in my opinion. We will definitely go back.

Everything about our stay was amazing! From check in the staff was very friendly and helpful. I loved that they escorted us back to our campsite. The pull thru spot we had was spacious & the set up was lovely. There was so much to do and see here. The golf cart drivers were courteous to the children everywhere. We can’t wait to come back next year this might be our new favorite spot.

We had an awesome time! There was lot's to do. Tim was a god send with helping us get backed in. We saw him time and time again help other's get backed in. I just wished the camp spot could have been another couple of feet wider. Kind of on top of the dump pipe for the camper next to us. Would be nice to have a little more distance from those. That would be my only negative.

The office closed at 5:00 on Monday So I had to go else where to get firewood and kids were upset because they didn't get ice cream. Not sure when you have people at the campground you would not be open just a little latter. If the pool closes at 7 you would think the store would be open till 7.

We loved it! One of our new favorites! The store closed pretty early and their pontoon boats could use some TLC but in all we have a good time!

All this campground cares about is money. Its a very overpriced campground for what it is. The checkout time is 11 am that's very early you can stay till 1;00 if you pay extra. Visitors are $20.00 each even if you only stay an hour. I've been camping for over 50 years and I've never seen anything like this place. I would not recommend this campground to anyone.

It was our first time staying. Very nice campground. Pool area was really nice. Friendly staff.. Golf carts are nice to rent for the day. Our site was very nice and easy to get in and out of.

One of the nicest KOA’s we have stayed at. The pontoon rental is a little high for the shape of the pontoons, seats all torn up and radios missing. Other than that we had a blast.

It was a beautiful campground. We had a big lot next to the creek. Some sites had a patio with table and chairs and a nice fire pit. Some sites had their own personal dog run on their site, which I thought it was a good idea. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Very clean campground. Probably our favorite KOA yet. We will definitely be back.

spacious and level campsites with picnic tables on concrete pads, friendly staff, super clean, great ice cream!, easy access, close to town, wifi/Internet was mostly good. I would give it 5 stars but my spot was relatively close to the entrance and, even though it's a 2 lane road, there was some road noise. Would I stay here again and recommend this KOA?: YES!

We enjoyed our one night stay. Pull through sites close to the entrance made an easy in and out. Site was clean and level. Staff that checked us in were very friendly.They also have a nice camp store.

Had a great stay. We did have one issue: the paint and pour that was advertised for Thursday night didn’t state it was for adults only. My wife and daughter had hoped to attend together. Not sure why this wasn’t a family event. Otherwise we loved everything the campground had to offer. Can’t wait to go back.

Great campground. Very clean. Nice pool and lazy river. Several play areas for the kids. Only complaint is the smell on the west side where we were told they dump the remains from the fish cleaning station. I wouldn't stay on that side again.

Jill at the front desk was amazing helping us make our reservations & checking us in at arrival. Campground is large & our site had plenty of room for our trailer, etc. Roads are busy with golf carts and there's quit a bit of traffic congestion near the pool with parked bikes, carts, etc. Inflatables on the lake are awesome. Pool was clean and refreshing. Lots of activity but peaceful at night.

The lake was extremely weedy, the chipmunks or ground squirrels are everywhere and the golf cart my sister rented ran poorly other than that it was great. It would be nice if the pool opened sooner.

Nice clean campground, only recommendations would be for the lake and area around obstacle course would be to drag and clean out lake weed and, lilly pads and algae surrounding it.

Only downfall was the first site we had, the incline was so steep, that our camper pushed our truck forward (emergency brake was on) while we were deciding the best place to leave it. It scared the devil out of us. Employee gave us another site but didn’t seem concerned when we told her what happened.

We always have a great time when we are there. Everyone is very friendly. The only downside is that the vehicles drive way to fast in there.

I think the front desk help need to let campers know of the activities that are planned for the weekend. We had never been here before. A price list of rentals would also be helpful. The bathrooms are not convenient to the front sites--the one in the office needs an outside entrance for after store hours and they were not as clean as we would expect from a KOA.

We had an outstanding time. Campground was great, and staff was very friendly and accommodating. We have a 14 year old and a six year old, and there was plenty to keep them both entertained the entire week of our stay.

Site 109 was wonderful with the paved patio, dog pen, and chairs provided! The only downside was the view outback and fish smell. Overall the bathhouse and attractions were very clean and our kids enjoyed the entire park! We will definitely be staying again.

Nice campground. Staff was very friendly. Kids loved the pool (it was really nice). Fishing pond was a let down. Seemed like there was constant car and golf cart traffic due to the mostly seasonal sites. Had a nice dog run. We would visit again.

Was nice. Had site with deluxe patio, grill, fire pit. We had to ask for a gas tank to use the grill�����‍��� Went down to pool at 10:13 am (hrs:10-7:00). Not opened. Had to call to see why. Oh, they forgot to open it�� really!!

Excellent KOA with customer-focused staff and a very well maintained campground. We stayed in a pull-through site that was level with sufficient gravel.

All was great but the internet is sketchy. Not very good. Had to use my own device to work on my laptop. Staff is great. Would have been 5 stars except for internet. I will stay again.

Every other KOA I have stayed at, the pools are open until dusk. The pool closed early. The showers are very far away from some of the camp sites. The sites were very clean and quite spacious. The lake lake was nice, and the play place on the lake was great too. I found someone that worked there, but they could not se..ll us wood or anything. Store close very early

Park is great. Not so pleased with late night golf cart parades. Should be a time limit. Also, two nights of fireworks traumatized out dog as well as I'm sure many others.

On Sunday 8/15 I experienced a Mototcoach malfunction which prevented my departure from Angola / Hogback KOA at the 11:00 checkout time. Fortunately I was able to get it fixed and departed approximately 2:00. I was charged another full day because the sites rentor for that day had to be relocated. As the check in time is not until three I believe this charge was exorbitant.

Campground is super convenient to shopping and restaurants. Easy access from the highway. Newer parts of the campground are well laid out with spacious sites. Older section is much more crowded. Showers/restrooms are not particularly convenient, especially if you're in the northern section of the park. Another shower/restroom facility would be a great addition.

Your staff member Marsha is great. She keeps the bathhouse clean and filled at all times. Employees like her are an asset to your business and hopefully she is compensated well. Cleanliness is the number one reason we stay there. We have had a great time at your camp ground.
