I think if there is free dirt in the Asheville area, it could be donated to this KOA camp ����. All that would be needed to create a natural burn to reduce the highway 40 road noise is some volunteers to put that dirt in the I-40 highway woods area the build a noise barrier burn. How about a Boy Scout Troop? Of traffic violation workers? Where there is a need, & will there is a way!

The staff and check-in facility and proximity to AVL were great. Our campsite (B16) however was not. It was on a slope covered with tree roots and clay. The gravel parking area for trailer was very unlevel, and the tent pad was in a muddy low spot. In our opinion, this particular site should be removed until improvements can be made.

Staff was amazing!! Park is very well maintained. There is some noise from the interstate BUT it was not an issue for us. Would definitely stay again!!

We would recommend repairing roads, update washrooms, amenities are far from many of the sites. Not your fault, but it is noisy from traffic.

Great RV park. Only have two complaints. 1-Road noise from I-40 was bothersome. 2-Our cable connection for TV didn't work.

We were pleasantly surprised to see how nice our site was. It had a raised patio area with the fire pit in the middle of it. It had a spacious deck a level above that. Kelli was extremely nice and very engaging. Our grandchildren loved the trails, playground and movie night. We already have fond memories of our stay there.

Beautiful spot to camp. Nice and clean and quiet. I do believe my spot (B20) was a little tight for my trailer. Once I was finally in my spot not much room around my 26' trailer.

Very clean campground and nice facilities. Road noise wasn't as terrible as some were saying and actually helped me fall asleep. The only thing that was annoying was the KOA worker who threw her hands up at me, yelled at me, and stared me down as I drove by saying I was going too fast. Yes, I was going more than 5 mph, but I was trying to get up the hill at the entrance.

The campground and its amenities were very clean and tasteful. The employees were all welcoming and spoke to us often. We will definitely be back!!

We had a wonderful time and the kids LOVED the ice cream cart and movie in the pavilion!! Staff is very friendly and accommodating, especially with after hours needs of ice and firewood.

We had a wonderful weekend at the KOA West Asheville! We stayed in the cabin with no bathroom. We were so close to the bathhouse. The campground employees were so nice and welcoming! Can’t wait to go back!

Campground staff was very accommodating. Sites were level and very clean upon arrival. The only negative is the road and sites could have more stones spread as the ground was almost like sand and very, very dusty and dirty. We stayed in the upped loop in a 45” Motorhome.

Very helpful staff, meticulously cleaned campsites, cute and well stocked store…all around great experience! We already booked a return visit.

The host was very friendly and helped us into our spot after hours in the dark. The campground is wooded and pleasant with a nice dog run and also trails. All and all a quick visit but I would return if I stayed longer in the Ashville area

We stayed in a Kamping Kabin. It is perfectly located for the bath house. The Kamping Kitchen was awesome and made washing dishes a breeze. The staff was always courteous and helpful. We had one suggestion and seemed to be well received. We will be back in a few weeks for Halloween.

Love the patio! Needed to purchase longer sewer hose due to location of hookup in comparison to trailer connections

Although it cannot be changed, the sites are all gravel, but need to have some added. After putting the mat down, it is basically dirt or mud, depending on the weather. The road exiting needs to be fixed.

Great KOA team of people, helpful and friendly. Very clean grounds; we didn’t use the bathhouse or restrooms. Great K9 park. Nice nature trail. Narrow campsite with challenging back in arrangement at B19.

stayed only one nightgoing to another state. Very clean, FRIENDLY STAFF. Then stayed on way home, again clean friendly campground. Tho close to interstate, was not that loud.

Nice KOA. Very good walking trails. Extra clean and convenient bath rooms. Exterior Lighting in the camp ground was was good, not too excessive as some KOAs are. We will be returning to this place!

Level sites, trees, grass area, great staff and owner, pool (closed for winter), hot water and heater in individual showers, everything clean. Cute cabins with area to wash dishes, fire pit. We stayed 2 nights in 34 ft RV with large slides with plenty of room. Great place!

Great KOA aside from the highway road Noise so you definitely need ear plugs (not Anyone’s fault). And not enough washers and dryers causing a back-up. Management says they are waiting for the “dreaded” parts

Great staff, very clean. This is the first KOA that has proactively said they are next to the Interstate (many are) and offered free ear plugs!

Friendly and accommodating. Easily accessible for folks travelling thru or exploring the area. Shower house & bathrooms were AWESOME! You can tell they care. Thanks.
