Everything was good except the WiFi. In this day and age there is no excuse for poor WiFi.

Very disappointed! My new car was keyed and the lady at the front desk obviously didn’t care. They have no surveillance cameras either! She looked like it was NO big deal. Police said incidents happen there often.KOA campgrounds I’ve been to in the past have always had a fire pit for your own cabin, not this one, so you have to share with everyone. So forget about having a nice fire to yoursel

I am sorry that your stay was not as desired. Our staff did recommend that you file a police report but without knowing when this happened there was little we could do. Cameras are located at bathhouse and main office and info on shared amenities are stated on our website upon booking.

The park itself was very nice, employees very nice, very clean and well maintained. Problem was it is right above the highway so ALOT of road noise. I would suggest putting up some type of sound barrier to at least reduce some of the noise. We have stayed at parks before that were near a major road and they put up a wall that ran length of park with thick hedges planted and that helped reduce.

Other than the I40 interstate noise, very clean and well maintained facility. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Great place to stay if traveling I40 corridor. Easy access.

Very clean and well maintained grounds. The cabin was clean and the mattresses were the most comfortable we’ve had at a KOA. The staff were friendly and helpful! We appreciated the common kitchen area for the cabins and the pavilion was great for activities. Kids loved the fairy hunt and pool. For us the road noise wasn’t as loud as expected; it didn’t impact our sleep or fun!

initial set up was slightly delayed by an electrical issue. However, Mgmt arrived within 15 minutes and fixed it. Wonderful. After 1 1/2 months of travel around the US, this was the FIRST campgrounds I did not need to level my camper (which was very welcome). Lots well maintained. Lots of shade. BR/Showers and laundry were regularly cleaned. A bit noisy at night with Interstate traffic.

This is a very nice and well run campground. All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were well kept. We were in a Class C motorhome. The main negative is the truck noise from the interstate. Was difficult to sleep even with the AC Fan running. Unfortunately there is nothing the campground can do about the highway noise. Just be aware of the noise factor if you choose to stay.

I am so happy that you enjoyed our facility! Unfortunately due to the convenience of being right off I40, we do experience highway noise that is unavoidable. We hope that you do choose to come visit again soon and next time please let someone in the office know so we can move your site if possible.

We consider ourselves very lucky to have been able to stay at this KOA. The staff (especially Holly and George) and the owners have been so thoughtful and helpful. Our car died on I-40 west of Asheville. We have had to move our little trailer once but George towed us to the new site. This is a lovely wooded area and guests are very considerate. The laundry, store and pool are great. Many thx!

we called ahead and they were already closed. Only wanted to use showers and we picked a tent site thinking only $26.30..they charges us almost $50.00 to just use showers. We were grateful since our water went out....but disappointed they charged the higher rate. On line is had lower total. Even marked the envelope and paperwork.w/that total. Still really like KOA...safe and clean

From the direction I came your entrance was not visible. So I overshot, and turning around went 25 feet into a ravine. The place is very nice, the hosts friendly but it was way overpriced. I will avoid KOAs like the plague in future.

Jani & David made our stay fum. When i called for resv. I told them we were traveling with my 88 year old mother they gave us a level spot close to the office. We took a day trip and mom stayed in the rv Jani checked in on her. Very nice thing to do. Thank you for a Great time.

Lovely cabin stay. Everything was super clean, including inside cabin, bathrooms, showers, and pool. Yes there is some highway noise but inside the cabin at night, it was no issue. Very charming stay and we will be back in November!

Small sites; All gravel, no concrete; Clean rest rooms; OK for over-night but not for extended stay

Stayed in back section. Site unlevel, extremely muddy, electric not good, kept shutting off my analyzer with open ground. I was told don't worry about it probably won't hurt your RV. Office said they would send someone to look at it person never arrived. Check in Personnel at office unfriendly. They acted like I was bothering them. Would not return. They have 1 friendly person named Holly.

This campground is immaculate. The staff is SOOOO competent... A family owns and runs this business. ALLLL the facility is TOP NotCH. Great pool.. great shade... great fire pit! GOOOO. Betsy Lehner

The good- VERY clean. Excellent kitchen for the kamper kabins. Great trails for kids. The people working there were incredibly pleasant. Amazing bathrooms. Good size place. The bad- Very loud highway noise. Not the campgrounds fault, just don't expect peace and quiet. I'm rating the campground a 5 but the accompanying noise and smell from paper mill could be detracting. (again NOT THEIR FAULT)

10 out of 10…would definitely stay again. The campsite has large trees so it helped to block the sound of the highway.

The campsite was well maintained and clean. We are new to RV’ing and the staff were super helpful! Our campsite was well maintained, nice patio and fire pit with chairs. Loved the fenced in dog area and trails through the wood. It is right next to the Interstate so unfortunately can hear the road noise, other than that a great place to stay!!

We enjoyed our stay for our second time in the last 2 years. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The facility is well maintained and clean. Our only concern was that the space we were located at, F12, had very little gravel on it and we were surrounded by mud. This was the condition of this place when we arrived on Monday 8/16. This condition got worse as the rain got worse. Add gravel.

Staff very friendly. Recent rains left the gravel roads and sites somewhat muddy. Being in a mountainous area, the campground is pretty hilly.

We stayed in a basic cabin and it was very nice. I definitely liked the proximity to the bathrooms. The staff were friendly and I loved that they were enforcing the mask rule indoors. The bathrooms were very clean!
