Staff very friendly and helpful. The property needs work. We stayed in site B16. This site has probably had no maintenance in decades. All tree roots and mud. No gravel. Nothing level. Much of the property could use updating and refurbishing.

cabin was nice but only had one outlet and a/c took one plug. so was a challenge considering mother had a cpap maching that had to be plugged in during sleeping and not much choices for charging devices.. and was surprised that i could not leave dogs in kennel in cabin while out. read pet policy and didnt see that and called day after reservation and nothing mentioned till arrival at koa. der

Campground was quiet and safe. Staff was friendly. We stayed at a beautiful wooded campsite. Our kids loved playing in the woods, at the playground, and in the pool.

There was some confusion over the reservation due to a vehicle breakdown and rescheduling of the reservation. Heather was very accommodating and allowed us to reschedule and stay at the park. The park was clean the space that we had was a patio space which unfortunately flooded during a heavy rain but what is it very nice thoughWe didn’t use any of the park facilities and left early the next mor

The staff was so kind! We are doing a cross country PCS and this stop was not planned. We decided to stop to avoid staying on Elsa’s (tropical storm) path. Then we ended up needed two extra nights to avoid driving through it. The staff was amazing. Each one of them so sweet.

Very nice stay. The campground was clean and quiet (with the exception of I-40 which I understand you have no control over). We arrived earlier than expected and staff was very accommodating with helping us get our site. Much apprecaited! The fireworks were so much fun and I loved the golf cart ice cream truck in the evenings.

Much improved from our last stay in 2019. Camp sites, shower facilities and grounds are all in much better shape. WELL DONE! Work on the interstate highways leading to this KOA, however, resulted in hours of delays this year.

The campground itself couldn’t have been better. The two issues I had are out of the campground’s control. First, there was a bad smell in the air - maybe from the nearby paper mill or truck stop? Second, there was a lot of noise all day and all night from the highway and nearby truck stop. We really appreciated the daily trash pickup, ice cream golf cart, and 4th of July fireworks.

Your team was supportive when our truck broke down, helped us obtain another site while truck was being repaired. Provided info on repair shops, auto supply shops, long term camper storage. They all checked on us to ensure we were ok.

We had a great time! My kids loved swimming in the pool and walking on the trail searching for the fairy houses. The staff are so friendly and make the stay here so special. The pool, showers and restrooms were all very clean. Thank you all so much for all that you do to make this place so enjoyable.

We felt very safe there, and we were very impressed with the cleanliness of the facilities. Every employee that was came in contact with was extremely friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed two nights. Lovely park with mature shade trees. The only suggestion I have is to spray for ants. They were all over the picnic table and around the site, so we didn’t use the outside space at all. The noise from the highway is loud, especially the big trucks, but that can’t be helped. Wish we had known about reserving tix for Biltmore. Thanks for welcoming us!

Most of roads are muddy and not paved, not even gravel. Ground is not level, awkward arrangement of sites and too many trees and branches make it very difficult to get in and out. Close to the highway and noisy. Pool is small and far from site. Rate is cheaper than other koa places so that's good but would not come back next time.

Staff were awesome and it was all really clean. But the site was super noisy due to its proximity to the highway and our particular site had really oddly placed hook ups so we had to park at the very front of it to get anything to reach.

Not big rig friendly. Paid for a pull thru. Wanted us to unhook car for 1 night. Could not level the rv. Sites were terraced. Site "above" us had a leaking hydrant so our Site was all mud. Roads were narrow and washed out.

We loved the campsite and the area. Everything was immaculate and clean. The only downside was the noise from the interstate directly beside the koa. But the wooded area did help buffer to some degree. Would definitely stay again

We were just there overnight, but would love to go back. Super clean, very nice staff, tons to do for the little ones. Pool was clean, showers were clean, hot and high pressure. Fairy hunt was great. Some have complained about the noise from the interstate, I did not find it a problem with a fan running. Just white noise. They offer earplugs when you check in, but I saw no need for them.

As others have mentioned, this park is very close to the highway so there is a lot of road noise. There was also a strong odor from the paper plant while we were there that was pretty unpleasant. The interior roads are tight if you have a big rig (we have a 45' MH and tow a Ram 1500). Navigating through the overhanging trees and parked vehicles was a challenge.

I was only overnight in new RV just bought on way home. The check in easy in envelope as arrived late. Bathrooms extremely clean and set up surprisingly easy as I backed in (plenty of space) was level for the most part, and everything worked. Although earplugs suggested, I found space quiet.

Great property that is well maintained! Very friendly staff! Would recommend if you're looking for a nice campground in the Asheville area.

Five stars for excellent customer service. Would not recommend to friends or family without warning about traffic noise, but was perfect for us because of our unique location and cellphone reception requirements. All staff members very friendly and helpful, great pool, trails, and dog park. My only suggestion is to level up the sites. Most of the pull-thru sites had significant slopes.
