nice campground, great location. Close to Asheville, but far enough west to be in forest. Had a nice time. Staff friendly and helpful.

The Campground is close to I-40, we could hear it all hours of the day/night. As always, the folks there were super nice/helpful!! Sites seemed a bit cramped & the water hook was not convenient & we had to run the hose under the camper, across the site to a shared hookup. Was a faint odor of sewage near our site. Avoid site 17. Not what we expected. Pool looked nice! Good folks, expected that!!

We are conveniently located off I40 and do offer earplugs for the light sleepers. When you made the reservation you requested a 75 foot site and we explained a 50 ft hoose was needed for that site. If you would have came to the office we could have possibly moved you to another site. Safe Travels.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Great bathrooms & showers. Walking trails for dogs and a dog park.

We really enjoyed our stay, and mainly because of the staff. Everyone was extremely nice and very helpful. Restrooms and showers were always kept clean. Will definitely stay again and recommend to other campers.

We don't typically stay at RV parks, but this was a great stay. All of the staff was super friendly and the campground was really clean. They had people driving around on the golf cart often so we felt safe coming and going. Thank you for a great weekend!

Very clean, well run, easy to get to and conveniently located. My site was great. Only downsides are some noise from the interstate and paper mill, which really can't be helped and wasn't really an inconvenience anyway.

Staff was very nice and helpful. The sites are not our cup of tea. I slipped in mud helping back it in, unlevel, and very muddy. We have a large rig (43ft), we fit fine, but would rather have a little more gravel.

it was a great experience. The management was great, cordial, helpful. We arrived later in the pm and forgot several things and they delivered them right to our camping cabin. The bathrooms are sparkling clean as well as the showers. Thank you KOA Ashville! This was our first stayed in a KOA camping and we will definitely are going to keep using your camp sites.

We only camped one night at Asheville West KOA. This is a nice clean campground with friendly staff. Although we did not use the bath house I did take a peak and It looked nice and clean. Not fancy but decent. We did notice the traffic noise in the early evening but it really wasn’t bothersome. The location is close enough to drive into Asheville or Hendersonville. We would stay here again.

Was able to get a spot for memorial day weekend at a reasonable price, great check in process, good level site, minimal highway noise due to extensive vegetation around the property.

Would be a great place to stay with one exception. camp site we were on was not level. From observations it appeared that a lot of sites were not level. Makes it very difficult to set up. Other than that....no problems.

Called and spoke with a representative at this particular CG before making reservations on line. Very specific in the remarks about length needs. Arrived to find a spot barely long enough and horribly out of level. Wife went to the office and was told only site available. They actually had another one that was longer and much more level that was open for the taking. Rude male employee

Just know you will have noise from the Interstate Highway and Truckstop that is just below the campground. Beyond that, a generally good stay

The campground itself was a wonderful place to stay. The workampers were so friendly and helpful. Well kept grounds and the cute trails with fairy homes were fun. Watch out for the bridge protected by the troll! The surrounding area has limitless activities from learning about historic Asheville to the endless awe inspiring hikes. What a beautiful part of our country.

Camp sites are crowded together. If you sit outside, you breathe in your neighbors' cigarette smoke. Swimming pool next to gravel road with only a chain-link fence between the two. You feel like you are sunbathing in the middle of traffic. Housekeeper stated the homeless use their showers after office hours, and they walk into people's campsites. I didn't feel safe walking around the campground.

I am sorry you misunderstood one of our team members comment. We DO NOT allow nonpaying guest to use our showers. If you are ever unhappy you should speak with an office staff as we would have been happy to refund you so you could have went to a hotel vs. staying in a camping cabin. Safe Travels.

Decent park with a nice pool and camping cabins. We were in a camping trailer. The only real complaint is that the crushed rock on the websites is a bit irritating. It's impossible for bare feet and the rocks are sharp. We were worried about damaging our matt. Otherwise, nice bathrooms and very accommodating staff. Would stay again.

Worse KOA I have stayed in. Sites were to close together. Little grass between them. 1/2 of staff not friendly as normally they all are.

We tent camped in the woods. It was beautiful and very clean. The staff were helpful and competent. I highly recommend this location. North Carolina has LOTZ to do. Don't miss the Downtown area as well.
