The host was very welcoming and friendly (loved the welcome goodie bag!). The cabins and bathrooms were exceptionally clean and smelled great. Though we had a short stay and didn't explore the campground much, we were very comfortable. We will be back for our next trip to Asheville!

You have a lady here named Heather that was very rude and unprofessional and I can assure you that I will never stay here again NOR will I recommend it to any of my friends or family. Thank you for taking the time to express your recent experience. The issue in question was due to the fire pit being overloaded with charred beer bottles that ruined the firepit. We checked the cabin before departing due to the way the exterior was left as a precaution and was in no way to be rude.

I really enjoyed my brief stay here. I was tent camping in the winter and appreciated being allowed to use an RV spot with a covered table and electric. I had originally made a reservation at another KOA and they called at 5:08pm, just before a storm & on a holiday, to say they had “winterized” and that I couldn’t stay in a tent at their campground, so I greatly appreciate being accommodat

You have more room to make the dog park bigger with adding something on the inside of it like some ramps. The curved road definitely needs some lighting for the night time.

The site is good but very close to road traffic. It was ok for an overnight stop but would not be a choice for longer stay. The main bath room was exceptionally clean and the front desk attendant very nice and helpful.

We loved it! Check in was easy and everyone we encountered were very nice and helpful. The bathrooms were super clean and cute too! The next time we're in the area, we'll be back!

We spent our first ever camping trip at Asheville KOA West. We could not be happier with our stay there. The staff was extremely kind and helpful. Our grandson loved the Scavenger Hunt provided at check-in. We enjoyed walking the trail around the camp. We would definitely camp at Asheville KOA West again.

Other than highway noise it is a wonderful place to stop in on for a night or a few. Convenient to area.

It was an enjoyable stay with the exception of the noise coming from the highway. Staff was extremely hospitable and the facility was kept clean.

This campground is very close to the highway, which is probably fine if you’re in a camper, but we were tenting. There is only one tent site which is very overpriced with lots of road noise. Nice bathrooms, though!

The heads up about I-40 nearby was good to know, and honestly, it fades into the background very quickly, and it's great if you have trouble sleeping they offer free earplugs. Helpful staff, clean campground.

Stayed one night on my way to my family in Tennessee. My camper is winterized but the bathhouse is super clean and warm. Great location. I'll be back again.

Late check in was thorough and easy to access. Heather was super helpful for me as a first-time trailer-camper owner. She was patient, kind and accomodating. The store was awesome and had everything a visitor could ever want. Coffee was perfect as well!

Loved the holiday decorations! The staff and owners are wonderful and I appreciated the help they gave me with regard to my little trailer! I had the best nights sleep. I wore earplugs and the nearby highway sounded like a river to me. The washers and dryers are professional grade and much appreciated. The showers in the restrooms are great.

Very well maintained KOA with easy access to Asheville, Gatlinburg, and the mountains. Always saw staff on property maintaining and visible. Dog park is centrally located and trails easily accessible. Enjoyed Asheville West as its not just a flat parking lot but has hills and character. Interstate proximity was not a concern and noise was manageable. Will look forward to returning in future.

In addition to our RV site, we rented one of the smaller cabins for our family. It is centrally located to the office and bath house. Although winterized for the season, the camp kitchen in the courtyard of the cabins would be perfect. There is heat and air conditioning in these smaller cabins but was concerned at first of not having water or restroom. This was not an issue.

Had a very nice time with my wife, located close to a lot of places to go , very clean and the campground itself was quiet but you could here traffic non stop off I40, the girl who checked us in could not have been more pleasant
