Deluxe site smack dab into I-40! Could not enjoy cmpfire + could not carry on conversation due to the horrendous amt of noise from I-40+Pulp Wood plant odor in morning had us cutting our time short here. The free firewood offered -couldn't use. Office gives out free earplugs-which did not help with constant barrage off I-40!

We appreciate your feedback. Our site map is located on our website which does show the location of sites in conjunction with nearby highways. We also did offer you firewood so that you could make the most of your evening and even offered a refund on night one if you wanted to go elsewhere.

We've stayed a number of times. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The grounds are very well kept and it is a comfortable place to stay.

Such friendly and helpful staff! The bathhouse was very clean, which I appreciated since our RV shower had issues during the trip!!! The location was terrific for exploring both downtown Asheville and the Blue Ridge Parkway.

The people that run the park are all very nice. The park is well kept and clean and someone is always making sure the sites are neat. The biggest problem with this park is the noise! I was warned on check in this could be a problem . We ended up on site F24 which is probably the closest to the highway. If we come back I would request a site up the hill farther away from the highway.

This was my last KOA in 2 months of travelling and definitely one of my favorites. Bathhouse was exceptional. People very friendly. Lots of trees. On a hill so drainage- not one big mud puddle. Best of all is location. Whether you're travelling I-40 or visiting Smokey Mtn Nat'l park or one of the many great National Forests in the immediate area or the Biltmore or Asheville, etc is close by.

The staff was very helpful and nice. The only thing I didn't care for was the mud around the site need more grass there

Great place to stay! Convenient to interstate. Great amenities and great staff! Loved the dog park. Sites were easy to get into and we had a great visit. There is a lot of traffic noise off the interstate but we really didn't notice it. It was sort of like white noise in the background to us, plus since it was summer we mostly had the air conditioner running so we didn't hear it often.

Very friendly staff, escorted by staff to our site. Large, level site- The highway noise quickly became white noise to fall asleep to. Local sub shop delivers right to your site. Good food and reasonable prices. That was nice since it was raining and we couldn’t cook out! Thank you!

Usually, pull-thru site lengths are "fudged" a bit: I'm accustomed to fitting my 65' combination into sites published to be 40 feet. Last night was the opposite: we dangled out on either end; but, the park was gracious and accommodating. Kelli singlehandedly made the stay, a warm and engaging host. She gave us candy, Indian food. We were invited to enjoy fresh-roasted coffee the next day

Really nice smaller campground. Close to highway but not bothered by the noise. Nice caring staff. The only issue I had was when I went to do some wash I didn’t have enough quarters and the office was closed. My fault because I didn’t plan ahead. Last one we stayed at had a coin machine. But now I know to carry quarters with us. We didn’t use the pool but it looked clean.

We loved the Asheville West KOA! The bathrooms were very clean. Plenty of friendly staff to help, pick up trash and address our questions. We will return. Thanks for a great weekend! The Stricklands

Excellent service and very clean. Due to mechanical problems we had to extend our stay over a busy weekend . The office staff was very accommodating and found space for us. Everyone was friendly.

It was a pleasant stay. Small quaint Campgrounds with very friendly and helpful staff. We only spent 1 night on our way to Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains in TN.

Campground was clean and orderly. Everything worked as expected. Staff was great to work with. We had to leave early as as a result of a medical situation and staff was most courteous and helpful during our departure. I’d stay again.

We initially had a beautiful site but we were unable to hook up our sewer due to slope issues. The office was wonderful at relocating us. Also gave me change and a bundle of fire wood after the office was closed. Very nice people!

The staff are amazing and the park was clean and neat and lots to do! The only downfall to this place is being so close to I40. Was not an issue for me as the ac is usually loud enough I don’t hear anything! But overall a very nice place!

Very nice and clean campground. We had a great spot, very long to accommodate our large camper and tow vehicle. It was the only site in the campground that shares water with the adjacent campsite. We would have kept the site but would have liked a heads up that we needed more hose and that we had to go under the camper to get to the water. We would stay here again.

We stayed in a tent. The staff could not be more pleasant or helpful. We are going back in 2 weeks to stay in a cabin as well as the weekend of Halloween. Can't wait.

Very friendly staff and campground was very clean. Our site was pretty level. The only complaint we had was noise coming from highway close by which they have no control over. We literally can’t think of one complaint about the campground. Campground is also very close to a lot of nearby attractions.

Friendly and accommodating. Easily accessible for folks travelling thru or exploring the area. Shower house & bathrooms were AWESOME! You can tell they care. Thanks.
