The Southern Oregon Coast is one of those places that, once you find it, you wonder how you went so long without knowing it was there. Named by BBC Travel as one of the world's 20 best destinations for 2026 and the only U.S. coastal destination on that list, this stretch of Highway 101 is having its moment. And the best part for those of us in the Pacific Northwest: you are already close.
Bandon / Port Orford KOA Journey in Langlois, Oregon sits right in the middle of it all: 18 miles south of Bandon and 10 miles north of Port Orford, tucked into 8 acres of native Oregon forest just off the highway. Six ocean beaches, world-class fishing on the Sixes and Elk Rivers, crabbing in Old Town Bandon, and some of the most dramatic coastal scenery in the country are all within a short drive.
The only question is how you want to stay. Here is every option.

If you are rolling in off Highway 101, our RV sites are ready for you. Pull-through sites accommodate rigs up to 70 feet with 50- and 30-amp service, full hookups including water, sewer, and electric, cable TV, and fast Wi-Fi throughout the campground. Back-in full hookup sites are also available for those who prefer a more tucked-in forest feel.
For a step up, our deluxe pull-through sites come with private wooden deck patios: the perfect place to sit with a cup of coffee and take in the trees before heading to the beach or dropping a line in the river.
Water and electric sites offer a more affordable option with access to the on-site dump station. Whether you are stopping for a night on the Highway 101 road trip or settling in for a week on the coast, there is a site with your name on it.

Our tent sites are some of the most secluded spots in the campground, each one individually carved into the native Oregon forest so no two feel quite the same. Wake up under pine and alder trees with huckleberry and blackberry bushes at your feet, birds overhead, and the Pacific just minutes away.
Choose from premium water and electric sites, picnic tables, and fire rings, electric-only sites with power right at your site and water nearby, or dry tent sites for those who prefer to keep it simple and fully off-grid.
All tent sites have full access to the campground amenities: the heated seasonal pool, the seasonal huge 14-foot hot tub, the KampK9 off-leash dog park, Seasonal Saturday morning pancake breakfast (ends second weekend of September), and everything else that makes Bandon KOA feel like more than just a place to sleep.

Not ready to set up a tent but still want to feel like you are in the forest? Our rustic camping cabins are the answer.
Each cabin sleeps up to four guests with a full bed and a twin bunk set inside. No bathroom in the cabin: the campground restrooms and hot showers are a short walk away. Bring your own linens and settle in. There is a private deck on the with-deck option for sitting outside in the trees, and the whole campground is right at your doorstep.
Pets are welcome with a fee. Cabins are a popular choice for families, couples, and anyone who wants the forest experience without the tent setup.

Traveling without your rig? Our two fully self-contained RV rentals mean you can have all the comforts of home without hauling anything down Highway 101.
The first is a 42-foot 5th wheel with a queen bed in the bedroom, two sofa sleepers, a full kitchen with stove top and microwave, and a 3/4 bath with shower. Bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen linens are provided; bring your own for the sofa sleepers. Big-screen TV with cable and fast Wi-Fi. Pets welcome with a fee.
The second is a 40-foot RV with a king bed, two sofa sleepers, a full kitchen, 3/4 bath, cable TV, and a full private deck right in the forest. King linens provided: bring your own for the sofa sleepers. Also pet-friendly with a fee.
Both rentals put you right in the middle of the campground with full access to all amenities. Just show up, unpack, and enjoy the Oregon Coast.

For families, groups, and anyone who wants the full home experience on the Southern Oregon Coast, our 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation rental is the ultimate basecamp.
Three bedrooms sleep the whole group: a master bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, a second bedroom with a queen bed, and a third bedroom with two single beds. Linens and towels provided throughout. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, fridge, stove, oven, and microwave. Cable TV and fast Wi-Fi included.
Step outside and you are steps from our heated seasonal pool and huge 14-foot hot tub. The enchanted forest is right at your door. And the beaches, fishing, and everything the Southern Oregon Coast has to offer are just minutes down Highway 101.

Whether you are planning a quick weekend escape or a longer stretch on the coast, the campground is open all year.
