Bandon / Port Orford KOA Journey General Information

We follow the KOA National Cancelation Policy unless otherwise stated for groups or holidays. If you reserve a site for multiple days and decide to cancel some of the days, you must cancel those days either 7 days prior to arrival for RV/Tent sites or 14 days prior to arrival for cabins. If you cancel days when checking in, you will be charged for days reserved. Care Camps Big Weekend, Memorial Day weekend, July 1-7, Labor Day weekend, and KOA Customer Appreciation weekend deposits are nonrefundable. Group/Reunion reservations require a 30-day cancellation notice with a cancellation fee. After 30 days you will forfeit your deposit.

CAMPGROUND POLICY & NATIONAL GUIDELINES FOR STAYS

If you need to cancel your reservation, you must call the campground before the deadlines listed below to receive your deposit refund, minus a $20 cancellation fee. Text and email notifications of cancellations are not acceptable. Not calling to cancel/no show will result in forfeiture of the entire deposit plus days reserved.

RV & Tent Sites:   We have a $20 nonrefundable cancellation fee on all reservations. 7 day cancellation notice is required. Notify your KOA by 4 p.m., seven days before your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel within 7 days of your arrival, you will forfeit the entire amount paid.

Camping Cabins: We have a $20 nonrefundable cancellation fee on all reservations. 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA by 4 p.m, two weeks before your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel within two week of your arrival, you will forfeit the entire amount paid.

Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: We have a $20 nonrefundable cancellation fee on all reservations. 14 days cancellation notice required. Please notify your KOA by 4 p.m, two weeks before your scheduled arrival date. If you cancel within two week of your arrival, you will forfeit the entire amount paid.  These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. Please check with your selected KOA campground location when making your reservations.

[b]KOA Rewards VIP Cancellations: As a benefit to our most loyal guests, the $20 cancellation fee is waived for all VIP KOA Rewards members if they have canceled within the guidelines.[/b]Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in the forfeiture of all deposits.

Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. NO REFUNDS OF ANY TYPE ON HOLIDAYS OR HOLIDAY WEEKENDS FOR EARLY DEPARTURES IN RV, TENT SITES OR LODGING UNITS.

Refunds for early departures policy:

GROUP cancellation policy:
If you cancel prior to 30 days of your arrival, a $50 fee will be charged. If you cancel within 30 days of your arrival, you will forfeit the entire amount paid.

We now offer portable kennels for rent for your fluffy friends.  Inquire at the front office for availability.

Here at the Bandon Port Orford KOA we strive to make every stay wonderful.  One of the things we do is offer an earlier check in time and later check out time for our RV and Tent sites.  For those guests that choose one of our cabins or RV Rentals, we have a check in time of 3:00pm, so that each accommodation is fresh and welcoming every time.

Pool and Spa are seasonal - Open Memorial weekend thru Customer Appreciation Weekend (Second Weekend of September) from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM, weather permitting.

Proper swimwear is required. The Oregon Health Authority prohibits wearing shorts, shirts, cut-offs, and everyday clothes in the pool or hot tub as it is unsanitary. Babies must have little swimmers on, no naked babies, please. Children under 14 must be accompanied by an adult.

For the safety of all our guests please keep all beverages in leakproof containers, food outside the fence area, and leave the Adult Beverages at Camp, Thank you.

Campfires are only allowed in the designated fire rings and must never be left unattended. Firewood must be contained within the fire ring (burning logs outside of the fire ring is not allowed). Gathering wood or cutting of wood/brush/trees is not permitted. Wood brought onto the campground while camping must be hauled out when checking out (due to the risk of disease and invasive insects, the State of Oregon prohibits importing wood from out of the area). We do offer firewood for sale at the office. On departure please put out your fire. Check with the office if you have any questions. Thank you.

We know that it is great when family or friends from the area visit you while camping, but please, all visitors to the campground must register at the office BEFORE proceeding to a campsite. Should your guest decide to stay past 8 pm we do charge a fee of $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for children. The seasonal pool and hot tub are for registered guests only, and visitors are not allowed in the pool/hot tub area. The registered camper is responsible for the actions of your guests.

Wifi is available throughout the campground. It will allow you to surf the net, check emails, and visit on Facebook. It does not support streamlining, movies, downloading music, games, or large file downloads. Thank you.

Pet friendly!! Non-aggressive pets are welcome (always on a leash of course) in our RV and tent sites.  Pets are welcome in our accomadations as well for a fee, check with the front desk for details.  They are not allowed to venture into the pool/hot tub enclosure, playground, restrooms, or the store building. Pets are not to be left unattended at your campsite or in your vehicle. Be sure to check out the off-leash KampK9 Park located at the bottom of the park!  We do ask that you clean up after your pet so that we can keep our campsites free to pets.  Disposal bags are located at multiple places for your convenience.

Meet us at the Train Station for a ride on our train. Memorial Weekend through Customer Appreciation weekend in September from 5pm-5:30pm. Fun for all ages.

Enjoy hanging out with the whole family at our horseshoe pits, tetherball, gaga pit, or even take a swing on our swing set. We even have a Little Tyke play area. Check out the horseshoes and gaga balls at the front office.

We invite you to come and enjoy the beautiful forest of the Bandon/Port Orford KOA. Visit the beach for fishing and agate hunting within minutes us. Let us enjoy the Southern Oregon coast together.
