Staff nice and helpful but price for staying here was horrendous. Never spent so much for a gravel site. $147 to be exact. Wanted a tent site but they wouldn’t let me stay in my van because of the hurricane rains that night. They had bad water (couldn’t drink) and only posted at the checkin desk. Just happen to see it. The message did not get sent until the next morning. Definitely won’t use

Drank and brushed my teeth in the water. Got sick and had to leave a day earlier before my actual departure date. Spent $260 for a one night stay. Got a message saying to boil water until further notice a day too late. Meanwhile in Ellsworth days beforehand was showing cases of contaminated water and people getting sick. Didn't get to do anything during my stay except frequent their bathroom.

We are sorry you didn't feel well during your stay. The water issue were resolved immediately & days prior to your arrival. In addition, please be assured the cabins were never effected. Again, we are very sorry for your experience and hope to see you again.

While the location is beautiful, the overall experience was poor. The water safety was compromised and we were on a boil water advisory for our entire week- long stay. No bottled water was offered to campers. 25$ for a bundle of wood? 60$ a day to shuttle our family of 4 to Acadia...and not show up 3 times? Ridiculous! Grouchy store staff. Value for your $...just not there.

My family and I have planned and stayed at the BH KOA for the past 3 years. We enjoy having our own cabins yet the ability to meet as we are at different locations. I did stay in 803 last year and found that the housekeeping was poor. This year, another family member rented that cabin and the same issue. I was in 804 and the drawers were filty. We bring cleaning supplies and wipe down every year.

Love the location. We had a decent site and staff efficiently checked us in and took us to our site. Although camping is great for kids it would be safer for everyone if no one was allowed to ride bikes around after dark. Kids don't pay any attention and dart in front of you when driving and walking. There is a check in rule which is not followed so staff do not have time to ready site for incomin

The stay was wonderful, everyone that worked there was super friendly and so helpful. We had the perfect campsite and the dogs, my husband and I had a great time. We will be back next year.

Overall great stay as usual (we stayed in one of the airstreams). Only downside was that there was a boil water order; since we checked in late, we weren't notified of this until the next day when we went to the office to register. It would have been great to know this ahead of time OR have a little notice left in our late checkin packet. Big mistep there.

The facilities are very old and not practical. The vost is unreasonably high because of the market price for accommodations. Not worried. Wish Koa would become more adult friendly.

Absolutely loved this campground and site was perfect. The only issue I had was our cable did not work the whole stay. They said it would be fixed after we left.

Cabin was very clean and in great condition. Campground was quiet despite the number of people there and the staff was all friendly. There was also spots along the shore that any camper could get to since most sites don’t have direct water access.

The water shower is too cold and the merchandise from the store is at least 30% more expensive than the other stores near by. For example the gallon of water was $7 and the store at 4 min drive was $1.50. Same w many items. I was surprised by this overpriced specially with the water, considering that they were having a warning for not using running water as drinking water due to an issue.

Convenient location to view the beautiful, natural scenery in the area. We loved the ocean side, they had everything we needed. Friendly, helpful staff.

Ms. Jane absolutely made our stay! She was always so happy to help and always around saying hi throughout the campground! The KOA facilities were great as well, very clean and well kept. Loved every bit of our stay!

At first glance we were not sure about the set up of the sites, and not having sewer. However, the staff, the views, the beach, amenities and central location made everything amazing.

The key drop off was taped over so I didn’t know how to check out before 8am. I ended up staying an extra two hours and exploring the island to make sure I could return the key. It was okay because I wasn’t on a set schedule but a little frustrating. Overall nice people and beautiful place!

Employees were super helpful. Everyone was so friendly. Campground facilities were very clean. Was pleasantly surprised how the Campground keeps you updated on events by text. Would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay in oceanfront Cabin 804. The water view was incredible and perfect place to relax after hiking in Acadia all day.

The KOA in Bar Harbor is very expensive. No problem if services were provided. However, we had no drinking water for our entire stay. The cable did not work and hasn’t been working for sometime. Beautiful new dump stations, but the water did not work and the hand sanitizers or empty. Attention to detail matters. Camping sites are in bad condition and chairs needed painted. Very disappointing!

We tented. Our site was spacious and the lean-to’s on the tent sites are a great extra for storing firewood, camp stove, hanging towels etc. This campground overall is extremely well-run, clean, beautiful waterside access and convenient to traveling to various towns and ANP access points.

The location is the best part. Views are great. Our tent site was adequate with a “camp station stand” to store essentials. Loved that extra! The bugs were however intense, as we were located near a swampy area. Mosquito and flea bites. Bring lots of OFF!!

One of the staff in the office was always short with me and sounded totally irritated every time I spoke to her. Other than her the experience was great and people very helpful!

Everything was outstanding. The condition of our cabin was immaculate, with everything in fine working order. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We come to Maine every year and will definitely give strong consideration to staying at the Oceanside KOA again.

This was our first time staying at a KOA. We loved the cabin with a little more. The beds were far more comfortable than we expected. We adored the porch swing. Staff was helpful and pleasant. We appreciated the notice about the water supply. We stayed in K15. The fridge seemed a little warm despite being turned all the way up.

Location is awesome right on the water. The staff was friendly and the facility was clean and well organized. I would recommend to anyone. I stayed i an Airstream they have and it was great!

had urine smell in our cabin and our dog brought a dirty underwear the next morning from under the bed. Had to smell it all night before discovering...���‍���

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.

We camped here for a week and loved it. We had the perfect site and it was pretty close to Acadia National Park.
