This KOA is a great location on the water with beautiful sunsets! The location is near lots of activities in Acadia National Park. The employees were helpful and friendly. The premium campsite were nice except for the flag stone patio’s. I found them to be a trip devise because of the uneven surfaces. I would much rather see a concrete patio, it’s a better option. New plants place in bad loc

The wifi was awful and it was so far to the bathrooms and showers from our cabin we ended up leaving even though we paid to stay another night.

We thoroughly enjoyed our second stay. The only disappointment was that the Lobster Trap Cafe did not served lobster dinner.

The campground is right on the water and is a really beautiful setting. Watching the sun sets and star gazing was out of this world. You can kayak with the seals right off the point and the breathtaking scenery of Acadia is right down the road. We had a large group with us in both RV spots and cabins. It made for a very memorable vacation that we will be talking about for years to come.

People were very friendly staff was helpful. Not happy about the low chlorination in the water. The planting of the shrubbery in the trees is too close to campers and not going to be as helpful they were not cared for her trimmed or watered

While sites were grassy, they were too close together and I never felt we had any privacy as I could see 8 or more RVs right in my vicinity when sitting outside. The site was 30A but had known problems and kept tripping. I finally had to connect to another post nearby that wasn't being used. The store is way too far from the sites. I probably won't go back to this park.

“Boil Water Notice” is not what you want to see on check-in. What’s worse is when management doesn’t feel the need to make amends, other than to say “sorry for any inconvenience.” Actually, it’s not just inconvenient, it’s that you’re not supplying something we’ve paid for. This KOA is very well run. The staff is exceptionally nice. They have extra activities for all ages. The water front sights are beautiful. I would highly recommend this KOA.

Everyone who works here is super nice! The prime tent sites were great, in the shade, although on the smaller side. Many of the RV sites were in full sun and on top of each other. Beautiful views. Fun activities for younger kids (not teens). On the higher end cost-wise for a tent site.

We had a great stay! We were in a tent but not at a tent site. It would’ve been better at a tent site due to the shade, the quiet, and the location. Otherwise it was a great stay. We had access to whatever we needed. Staff was helpful, bathrooms clean. Beautiful views!

Had an end site which was very noisey starting at 4am with people leaving, dogs barking, and the dumpster being emptied. Site not quite level , but good water pressure, consistent electric, and a lovely patio.

Everything was great. The bathhouse by the registration office was always clean. The showers in that bathhouse though were super small. Maybe at most was 30" side to side.

The woman at the Lobster cafe was so rude we turned around and bought our dinners down the road. Our site was next to a marsh and we were eaten alive by mosquitoes worse than I’ve ever experienced. The cabin parking lot was next to us and all we heard were cars and doors and alarms and people walking through our site all night long. We stayed busy elsewhere to avoid being at the campground at al

I am not what you’d call the camping type so I mentally prepared myself for the stay. I really enjoyed it. The cabin was clean and in good working order. The chairs by the water brought me peace each morning. I was impressed with your attention to detail. We had older teens on our family trip but I loved the activities you had for the littles. Thank you and I look forward to coming back again.

I tent camped here for two nights. Site was clean and staff was friendly. However, the campground was under a boil notice for my entire stay, which was frustrating since I was paying peak summer prices and the main reason I was staying at KOA was for potable water.

Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our cabin was great - clean, roomy, great bed, kitchenette - everything we needed. This was our first stay at a KOA, and it exceeded our expectations.

I wish they had more washers for laundry. Also, the gentlemen did not do well escorting me to my spot. They should study how to bring campers in that will make it easier on the driver.

It was a great site location and we had everything we needed. We had firewood delivered to our site and they added some marshmallow roasting sticks for free! (They read our minds)

The cabin we rented was not what we expected due to previous experiences with the same thing over the years. Compared to other “camping cabins” this one was much smaller. Based on previous experiences I did not look at dimensions. The spacing of the cabins was also different as they were so close to each other. A schematic of the layout is vague. It’s a parking lot. Literally a parking lot. Everyone we met complained snd wanted to cancel the remaining days. Thank goodness we only booked for a night.

Camping is always special but the Bar Harbor KOA staff and surroundings are the BEST! From registration to the clean bathrooms we were never disappointed! They have great activities for all ages. This was our second year and we brought 2 new families with us. They loved it as much as we did! Can’t wait to return!

We loved our deluxe cabin. All of the staff were incredibly friendly, especially Janice who checked us in. The property is beautiful. We enjoyed checking out the tide pools at low tide. The only inconvenience was the lack of functioning washing machines in the laundry room. Thanks for a great week!

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
