One of our favorite campgrounds of our trip so far. Beach access/views very good. Cool wildlife sightings included a group of harbor seals hunting fish in the bay. The cafe is a nice touch, and we had two very nice dinners there. Also we appreciated the shuttle service to Acadia and Bar Harbor, even if the free Island Explorer bus wasn't picking up this year due to Covid. KOA staff very friendly.

Cable didn't work. My son was not able to use his KOA card for the discounts. He was told their were too many Nords in the park. As far as I know it was my son with his own KOA card and my husband and I with our own card at the park with the name Nord. It was not what I was told when I booked the 2 sites. Our extended family stayed at four cabins and were beyond pleased with the accommodations. The staff was so friendly and helpful, and the grounds were beautifully kept. It was so clean and quiet! We'd definitely recommend to anyone planning to stay in the area. Thank you for the great stay!

Great stay at the Oceanside KOA. Convenient location entering Mt. Desert and easy starting point for activities on the island. Campground well maintained with options for all levels/camper desires from cabin to tent. Although it was very popular, grounds were generally quiet and relaxing. Our cabin was nice and had wonderful amenities such as linens, paper towels and a gas grill. Five stars!

THis is a great site actually and most employee's are very good souls , however Michelle at the camp ground is rude and confrontational right up to when u leave you can not even stop in to say good bye , we would pay double any where else unless of course Michelle would have a change of service

Awesome location staff was great except Michelle as we wok up and went to office we were degraded from her communication style and unwillingness to even let you finish a sentence and of course as we were leaving we parked and were coming in to ck out and she was even more rude and would not let us park and come in to ck out to get a receipt. so if no Michelle 5 star but with her 1 star one fail

We absolutely LOVE the Oceanside KOA and we have stayed there three years in a row. The location is so beautiful and the employees are all so helpful and friendly. We wouldn’t think of staying anywhere else in Acadia NP!

We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was so accommodating. The views were unbelievable. If we had our chance, we would have stayed several More days. They had a shuttle van which dropped us off and picked us up in Bar Harbor. Food was great. Lobster dinner was really good. Walking along the rocky shoreline at the back of the property on the water, we found crabs, starfish, and more

Our site was so unlevel that by the time I got it where my sink would drain the steps were 2' off the ground. They stack um in tight at this place.

This is our 20th year staying at Bar Harbor Oceanside and we love it. Perfect location, campsites and restrooms are always clean. Staff are super helpful and friendly. Love the new dumping station! See you next year!

Check-in was a bit stressful but our stay overall was lovely. Brandie (the event coordinator) was great and very friendly with fun activities planned. I liked the convenience of being able to charge things to our lodge/account.

The cabin was filthy and smelled like urine, looked like the floor hadn’t been swept or mopped in years. Found a random pill sitting on one of the bunk mattresses. Our reservation noted we had a gas grill, had to argue with the check-in staff and show the email confirmation to get one delivered to our site, cabin next door had the same issue. 2nd time staying here, won’t return.

We had such a good time!! This was our first time RV camping with our kids so didn’t know exactly what to expect. Acadia was beautiful and everything went so smoothly! We especially enjoyed the activities - Brandie (and Z) were so friendly and personable and really made our kids feel special. We’ll be back for sure!

Our stay was fantastic! The cabin was comfortable and convenient to Acadia National Park. We enjoyed the campfire and the sunsets were absolutely amazing, right off of the front porch. Will definitely stay again on our next trip to Acadia.

Great stay. We have stayed here before. Last year the campground seemed to be better kept up, in terms of weeds, etc at campsites. That said we’ve had a lot of rain and I do appreciate now using toxic weed killers! So I’ll take it!

Campground was great and most of the staff were very pleasant. Had an issue with Michelle at the desk being very unprofessional. We were told we could stop in the store to grab another car placard when our friend arrived. Apparently Michelle was on edge that day as we saw her arguing with another customer too and she was immediately very rude and didn’t care that we had been told otherwise.

Better maintenance is needed. The grass needed cut and there was not enough gravel which caused our RV to shift after it rained. Also, management allowed other campers to park their vehicles in the roadway between spots.

People coming and going at all hrs. Rigs breaking down and packing up at 4 am. Rigs coming in and setting up at 10:30 pm. Pay no attention to the 3 pm check in, just show up and set up. Bikes flying through the campground. Very kid friendly but no control over said kids. Parents just turn them loose on their bikes with zero accountability. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Clean facilities but sites are a bit cramped which is to be expected given the popularity of bar Harbor. Ocean view is a definite plus. GPS routed us incorrectly so travelers may want to search by KOA rather than the address. Nice to have a shuttle avail to attractions. Could benefit from improved reservation system for tickets as you go to one spot for Tx and a different for shuttle reservations.

The BH Oceanside is rated #9 among KOAs for a reason. Excellent location, staff, services, amenities, constant interaction to make sure the guests are having the best time ever. The sunsets are never the same and each a memorable events, the breaching seals, birds and wildlife keep the imagination going. Hi, we have paid extra to be put on a list for renewal for the following year. I was not told about the fee accompanying this. We have returned for three years now, same site. First year great. Second year filthy, clean up crew come to clean area. This year, my foot went into a hole and I fell to the ground with much discomfort to my ankle and knees. Camp area filthy! I took pictures/reported.

First time KOA experience.We have done tent camping many years ago. We enjoyed the lovely and well maintained Airstream. Happy to have the comforts of a private hot shower, BR and easy to use kitchen. All the appliances worked great. Water pressure in the shower was less than expected but ok. The other campers were well behaved and friendly , and the staff helpful. Location excellent

Site next to a mosquito infested wetland on a uneven site with a tree stump that was half out of the ground in the middle of the site. The Wi-Fi which was needed for my work, totally sucked. After a rainstorm the back of my trailer and adjacent side had 4 inches of standing water in a low spot. Why couldn’t the tree stump be removed and grade the site. Site location and view where awesome. Shame

this was my bucket list trip as i ha have malignant cancer and from the time we arrived until we checked out at the camp store office we were talked to,treated like dirt guess because we were tent campers,we made our reservations in may for tent site in tent section an when we showed up they stuck us in the airstream section on corner lot not even big enough to pitch tent,

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
