Bathrooms were clean and convenient. Staff at checkin could have explained more things like ice etc is avalable. The golf cart crew were terrific. Coffee for $2.65 was a bit steep. Liked how quiet and respectful the guests were.

Terrible communication. Left a message for a pump out at 8 pm the night before we needed it. Received a call back at 4:30 pm the next day that claimed they just listened to their messages. Said there would be a $25 emergency fee to pump for missing 11 am deadline. Charged my card over $41. Leave phone on night service after their 9 am office opening. Didn’t respond to another phone message.

The stay was great. The only issue we had is that the power is not sufficient. Normally, KOA's power outlets for tent sites are dedicated per site. This one is shared between 2 sites (Or maybe more). So when we need the heat that night, the breaker tripped. The other issue is that it took the next day to have the breaker reset despite numerous calls. The reason why we booked KOA this cold season.

Everything was wonderful except when someone hit our parked truck at site 350. May want to put a unit with vehicle that needs to park. That is a difficult turn for larger campers to make. Now we have to deal with damages to our fairly new truck

We had a spot for our fifth wheel that overlooked the beach and the ocean and the sun would set outside our bedroom window. Probably the most beautiful KOA campground we have ever stayed at.

The campground itself is in a great location and has the basics, but the camping cabins are very, very dark plus you need to leave your car in a parking area and use a wagon to get your belongings to your cabin. This can take several trips! The camping cabin site is very private, but you are not able to drive to the shower or laundry without going out of the cabin ground and then coming back in.

I was incredibly disappointed with the customer service. I booked site 405 which states is the best site, when we arrived I was told someone else has that site booked and I was given site 406 instead and was told it was just as nice but def was not. No one showed up the first night and the 2nd night a couple showed up and said they called that day to book the site for 1 night, this happened twice.

We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning next season. Every member of the staff we met were friendly, cheerful and pleasant to talk with. Very neat and well taken care of sites.

Loved it! Quiet and family-friendly. Much to do and see in the surrounding area. Gorgeous setting. Staff was helpful and friendly. Cannot wait to visit again.

Aside from the first night where we had some noisy neighbors who either didn’t know about quiet hours or didn’t care about them, our stay was great. Friendly staff, very nice tent site, clean facilities and beautiful views! This was my second time staying here and plan to stay here the next time I’m in Bar Harbor/visiting Acadia!

This was our first KOA experience. Not only are we looking forward to a visit back in Bar Harbor next summer, but we also intend to check out other KOA locations close to our home in Kennebunk. Wonderful service, kindness, cleanliness and fun!

We stayed at the Bar Harbor KOA for two nights in their Air Stream unit. It’s a great stay and we enjoyed the setting and everything they had to offer - including the trick or treat event, even for early Oct. the unit was clean and had all as they advertised. There are two drawbacks however - the heater did work 2nd night and the entry door could not locked from inside. No credit was given.

The overall facility was very nice and well maintained but the floors of the standard cabin I was in felt very sticky and dirty. The cabin smelled like wet dog.

This is one of the nicer campgrounds we’ve stayed at. The laundry was clean. The staff was very friendly and our site was nice. Plus there’s a great view of the bay.

We loved our stay at the KOA! With 2 young kids under 3, this was the perfect spot for us as a base camp as we explored Mount Desert Island! From the amenities to the location on the island- it was all amazing! I really appreciate their making the campground a family-friendly place to be.

Our site was a premium site but we had standing water on the site and our feet were soaked by the time we were done setting up. Took a full day to dry out our shoes. Site was muddy the entire time. No cable and no local channels but could stream with Roku TV. The view is blocked by other RVs. Should not be charged premium for this site.

We had the best location in the entire camp! Right on the ocean! We were pleased with the friendliness of the staff. There was plenty to do, great food and entertainment. The KOA location couldn’t be better.

The pads were not large and in cases when the camper we on them you could not step out on gravel. The were large mud holes that should have been filled.

The staff are awesome. They were able to fix it so we didn't have to move one site over during our stay. They led us to our site and offered to answer any questions we might have or help us in any way they could. Also close to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. Close to many good seafood restaurants and other points of interest.

Our deluxe cabin was perfect for our family. The entire campground was clean, well organized and the staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Acadia National Park. It’s just a short drive to such a wonderful location.

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
