Had to wait a bit for shower availability, but otherwise no complaints. Staff was very friendly. Bought ice and fire starters at the store without issue. Hot water was HOT (a good thing). Great utility sink area. Also loved the welcome information text. Thanks so much for a fun stay!

We camped out at the camp site right on the water, it was just amazing with the sound of the water when the high tide came in at night and the sunset was just beautiful. We also stayed in a deluxe cabin our last two nights, in a nice soft cushy bed. We had a great time for our first time at a KOA. We will most defiantly be coming back next year, already booked it!

Love this campground, absolutely beautiful!! Wish some of the ocean sites had sewer hookups but it's understandable that they don't!!

Disappointed that the cabin we stayed in did not have a screen enclosed porch. We were told this cabin was exactly the same as the previous one we stayed in when the reservation was made. Unfortunately it was not. Besides the lack of the screen porch the stay was wonderful. Will just be more specific when booking our next reservation.

Our stay was great but we wanted to stay an extra night and was told it would have to be two more nights bc our cabin was booked but there were other empty cabins. Also would’ve been nice to know that you now need a reservation to go to the top of Cadillac mountain. I would’ve booked it the day prior Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay but more accommodation would have been nice!

Loved the location. U derstand the difficulty of have individual dump at site but be nice. Do think showers n laundry could be updated but absolutely loved the staff, location, etc.

Cafe service was awful. The menu is 5 dinner items with a note that Lobster is served 4-7pm every day but Sun. We text to order the lobster dinner and get reply they are not serving it that night. We ask for the other items and get another reply the cafe is not cooking that day. Registration should've just told us an hour earlier when we arrived. And shuttle doesn't run as scheduled, taxis are far

Cabin 805 was clean and comfortable!! This is our 25th year staying at this campground. We started with Pop Up rental in 1996. Once we bought a Pop Up we camped in various sites along the water. Then we bought a trailer and stayed on 341 or 342. Now we fly up, rent a car, and stay in either 805 or 804 cabins. We just keep coming back! Great experience and love the upgrades KOA does each year!

We had a wonderful stay! Sites aren't huge but adequate. We had a site near the water and the sunsets were incredible. Staff was amazing!!! Friendly and helpful with all our needs. The only thing that was a bit troublesome is there was a boil water order in effect that was never mentioned to us when we checked in. There was a small sign on the door but many people had missed it.

Everything was very nice with the cabin and the campground. Two comments I would make the sofa bed was very uncomfortable and it sank upon sitting. Also we paid a pet fee of 25 so expected that the previous pets fur wouldn't be all over the porch. Better cleaning needed there.

Staff was very helpful when an issue arose with our reservation. They worked diligently in making sure that our stay went well. Really appreciate the extra mile they went to accomplish that task.

We were crowded into a site full of water with no space to park, no view of anything except other RVs. Could not have a campfire without risk of sparks hitting our truck. Worse of all, after hooking up the water we found out that the water is not potable. If you can’t drink the water, you should be told upfront. I’ve been there several times in the past but this may be my last. Disappointed.

We renTed an airstream for our daughter to visit us (we were in a park model) and it was loaded with dog hair. Not a good start to her visit. We told staff the next morning and they vacuumed it and made it better. None of this should have happened. Koa staff gave us an adjustment on the bill which was appreciated

Cant say enough good things! Staff was very friendly and social with the campers, the campground was very clean and there was a lot of things to do within and outside the campground! We loved sitting by the ocean in the chairs provided by the camp, and watched the sun go down each night. Will definitely be returning!

Very disappointed that the ecoli contamination in the water wasn't mentioned during the check in. That is a serious problem especially when it had been going on for more than a monrh and a half. Tent site was much too expensive.

Quiet time 10-8 but garbage truck with backup alarm 610 am????? Sites very close. Sites not level. I know it rained hard but a few loads of crushed stone would eliminate 3 inches of mud

Thank you for your input. Our apologies for the disturbance, we have requested the truck come in late morning. As for the stone, unfortunately the local municipality will not let us put down any more stone, citing that it prevents drainage or creates impervious conditions. Safe travels.

We reserved 2 full hook up sites as we were camping together with family. Seven day stay. When we arrived we were placed in sites without sewer AND no sewer. And…their WiFi only worked half the time with a weak signal. Their excuse was the weather, which didn’t make any difference. Bottom line is they don’t have a large enough modem or router! Not happy. First time camping in a KOA,

Great location. Close to Acadia , Bar Harbor and local shops. The camp is well maintained and the staff is on any problem that should arise. Speaking of the staff they are the nicest people ! We had a great time with several family members at two campsites and one in a cabin . The bathroom facilities were kept clean and hot water was welcomed after a kayak trip. We booked our site for next year.

Greatly enjoyed our stay at the Bar Harbor KOA. The park grounds and facilities were well kept and clean. The location is beautiful with great views of the Maine sunsets. The staff were all excellent to deal with and professional in every way. Jane, in maintenance, was particularly helpful and displayed excellent customer focus.

The boil order with the contaminated water was a problem. We should have been told upon arrival. One sign in the mens room and the outdoor sink was not sufficient. Also, our campsight was flooded and under water. This made a campfire impossible and got our only sneakers soaked. Considering we arrived in the evening and couldn't see made things worse. We should have had a dry sight or refunded.

The site was nice and staff very friendly. However, we booked a patio site and was given a regular pull through site. Fortunately we had other dinner options with us because we were counting on the grill to use with a patio site. There was one empty near us and someone arrived to that site later the same day. I was given a credit, but no explanation. They also didn’t know how to apply KOA $10 re

We enjoyed our recent stay at the Bar Harbor/Oceanside KOA. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. The staff was visible on the grounds and very approachable. We really appreciated the texting system that was used to inform us of events and alert us to campground news.

Love the planned activities, lobster cafe, smores, and viewing areas open to everyone. Location is great, easy to get to places like Acadia, with wonderful local food places close by.

Absolutely the best campground we’ve stayed at. Of course we arguably had the best oceanfront site in the park with a 270 degree unobstructed view of the water.

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
