We progressed from a tent to a pop up to a travel trailer. This year we stayed and asked if we could leave our trailer in the large, very open space for 3 hours while we went When I checked out and asked at desk I was told absolutely not. She was saying they were completely full and there would be no way to accommodate. We were rudely dismissed. The place was less than half full.

The lady at check in was super friendly and helpful. The location of the campground was very convenient. We loved having a full gravel pad.

Great location! Good proximity to key spots in Acadia and Bar Harbor, friendly staff, lots of room to play and be entertained at the campground as well!

Nice as usual. We come every year. Only complaint was neighbors in next Airstream were smokers. They smoked a lot which was quite offensive. Maybe KOA should consider non smoking campuses!!!

Loved the location, and all the people we met were super nice.But a HUGE negative: we opened our cabinet under our sink and found a small mouse trapped on a glue strip. I work with animal rescue. This is horrible and inhumane! It was panicked and hurt and I will never forget it's poor eyes scared and tortured. I will never recommend a facility that tortures animals. PLEASE STOP USING GLUE TRAPS!!!

We have traveled all the lower 48 states and stayed at KOA in all of them. We think this is the most beautiful place in the lower 48, and this KOA is so well managed with Barb making every effort to be sure you get the site you want. All the workers are friendly & helpful and the Lobster Cafe has great food,?& Sunday morning blueberry pancakes to benefit Care Camps. We’ve already booked next ye

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Rachel was super nice -- she explained how she painted the sea animals on the building and my kids loved chatting with her. We did NOT have a waterfront site, but our campsite was close enough to see the water. We loved searching for crabs and sea stars during low tide. I loved the reminder texts for events and quiet hours. Thanks for everything!

Had a water view that was spectacular. The personnel on-site were cheerful and friendly. Made the stay a pleasant experience. Staff was helpful. Loved the on-site store, food, and weekly activities. On-site amenities were a plus. Close to Acadia National Park. Cannot put a price tag on those sunsets!

Such a great place and great people working there. Loved site 223 even without sewer hookups; Can’t beat the ocean view. Thank you Sam for always being helpful and having a Smile! Would definitely come back.

2 adults, 4 kids and a dog in a tent! �Ϧ � We were worried about space, but the campground offers so much to do for the kids and Acadia National Park and the Bar Harbor area is just Beautiful!!! Plenty to do to tire us out. Staff were so friendly! Facilities were always clean! Love Maine! ���

When you see the manager Barbie hands-on from Apple pitching with kids to office, you know it’s going to be good. Extended our stay from 3 days to 10. Michelle, Janice and Sandy & GI Jane AWESOME-SO friendly and would have done anything for us. Gorgeous water front sites, adorable snack shack. Location amazing. No sewer, no problem-honey wagon to the rescue! Need new laundry room desperately

We have recommended this KOA to others and they booked their vacations and loved it as much as we did. This year, the cabin did not seem to be cleaned. There was food in the sink, dirt on the top bunk, mold in the AC units and in the bottom of the trash can. We bought our own Lysol wipes to clean. With the Delta variant of COVID being extremely contagious, it was disappointing & dangerous!

I would have given this five stars except that there was an issue with their water source. For our entire stay, we were under a boil water alert for potable water. So many sites on the water. We had a beautiful site on the water, the park is extremely clean. They had plenty of activities for kids. They even have the lobster trap cafe that offered coffee, pastries, and ice cream.

Our first time RV ing- it was so nice, from the conversations with the staff, to the views from the beach, the kids able to ride their bikes freely, the campfires, the location, the ability to distance, the only issues were with the bathroom which you know about and the early trash wakeup call. Otherwise all great����

Didn't get deluxe cabin we wanted. No one answered the phone in may when I made reservations. It did not discribe the room very good. Same price as full deluxe not fair. Way to small. Didn't bring what we needed because our last stay had a full kitchen, and had a queen bed. This was a double bed Not big enough. Room was very cramped. For what we had it was over priced. I felt they just gave us one

I stayed with 2 others in a campsite for a trip to Acadia. The campsite was clean and did have electricity even though it was not listed as one of the amenities, which was helpful. The staff was very receptive and friendly. I especially liked delivery services in that if you ordered fire wood it could be taken to your camp site. Bathrooms and showers were clean and I used them w/o issue.

Best place to stay in MDI/Acadia. Bathrooms clean; lots of activities for both kids and adults. Homemade pies are delivered a few times a week by a local - best pies around and they are delivered to you camper! Site wasn't exactly flat, but a few blocks fixed that, we didn't have enough and one of the workers helped find a few pieces of wood to help us out. Can't wait to come back next year!

Everything was pretty great! Wished we had picked a site closer to the water and wished the wifi worked better (did not get any reception or wifi in the cabin). We also were not alerted about the boil water warning when we arrived. Luckily we saw the signs before we went to drink any water. Very friendly staff!

Was our first Rv trip, and the people at this site was some of the most friendly helpful people we’ve ever met. They are over worked and stretched thin from so many not wanting to work, but I never heard one negative word from them. Would go back anytime. Just got home home last night and talked to friends today about them making a trip there. Great great job from this crew

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
