The staff were friendly but the sites were very close together. Also, quiet time was violated by rigs packing up and leaving at 430am! The proximity to the shoreline was nice, but not worth the cost in camp fees, crowded conditions, and noise.

Very expensive compared to the other campgrounds in the area. Staff was very courteous and quick to help. Sites were unexpectedly small. Not as quaint as expected, but maybe we weren't in the best section of the campground. Expected much more for the price we paid.

There was a mix-up with the dates of my stay, the lady at the desk worked her magic to make my stay happen Clean bathrooms and shower

I would of gave a 10 for recommendation and 5 out of 5 if Saturday a group of people didnt come. They were loud and rowdy. They were playing music loudly, yelling running around until 10:30. This is are 4th consecutive year coming here and always enjoyed ourselves. We are going to give it another try next year. Hopefully thing will work out.

The 30 Amp service at our site was inoperative. But we made do just fine. The only minor thing that prevents a 5 star.

We enjoyed this campground by the ocean. Sites a bit smaller than some of the koas in other states but the views are great. Bathroom clean staff friendly. Dog park was large and well kept.

Site was very disappointing. Back in was back to back with neighbor and site was quite narrow. The pad was gravel but not big enough for the whole rig. Grass was very long. When I made the reservation we had a 35 foot rig and we would not have been able to fit the trailer and the truck on our site. Dog park was a mess and very unsafe. It only had a single gate and one side had a large hole.

The staff is wonderful. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The sites are close together, which is the only downside for us. It was easy to get to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Bill and Sandy were such wonderful hosts. We felt welcome by all the staff and the facilities were clean! We will definitely be back!

Very nice location, friendly staff. The only thing that I think could be improved upon is the dump station where it can get backed up with people lining up for the one that has the regular hose.

We enjoyed our stay at the campground the only drawback was the smoke from all the fires and the mosquitoes. The staff was great! We are returning in a month we love the state of Maine! Chris

Made our reservation 6 months in advance! They put us in a TINY site (for a 35ft 5th wheel). Told them-they didn't CARE. Told us to back in-our front door was on the WRONG side! (not ocean front). So we PULLED in-couldn't get our truck out, so we were STUCK. They put another giant 5th wheel next to us, and we could barely get out. VERY STRESSFULL. Also gross red, buggy mud around our campsite. :(

We appreciate your input. Everyone has a different idea of an ideal site and although 373 is in the top 10 sites requested here, it is not the site for you. The red debris is seaweed & other oceanic materials that the seals and fish feed on. We are sorry that it offended you.

Nice pull through site with a nice patio, table set and gas grill. Right near the water and close drive to Acadia and Bar Harbor.

Love the text messages informing us of the days events at the campground and love the fact I can charge things (like the tie-dyed shirts) to my site. The only negative aspect I had, and nothing at all to do with the campground or staff, was lack of parental control over some of the children and people allowing their dogs to bark excessively. But again, nothing to do with you guys. Loved the place.

My SEVEN families, have been going to BH KOA for 30 years, this year there was confusion about how many nights my daughter booked her site for (we thought it was 3 but it was only 2), when we noticed it was past 11 (check out time). We were off the site in 20min. They charged us a 20. late fee even though she moved to a premium site (more $$). They REFUSED to refund the $20. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE!

We had a good view, but paid a premium which is to be expected. Good facility except the majority of the laundry machines were broken using Covid as the excuse, of course. Otherwise a very nice park. No sewer hookups available near the water.

We really enjoyed our stay, the facilities were clean and accessible and the employees friendly. I was disappointed that we paid a premium based on location but were not on the water and the person in the site across from us chastised our children for walking up to the water. They did not go through their campsite to access the water.

The plus is they can provide discounts for adventures. The minus is you can't book until you've arrived & during heavy travel seasons, sightseeing/adventure bookings are hard to obtain upon arrival to campground. Park grounds in need of TLC, esp with vegetation; trees/bushes esp those in close proximity to campsites are overgrown. Escort to campsite was helpful. Office ladies 'short.'

This is our favorite campground in the US and we love this site because it has a great water view & is very close to the ocean yet isn’t as expensive as the waterfront ones. Barb (campground manager) is great at making sure everything is as perfect as possible. We are staying the whole season this year (May-Oct) & have booked again for next year!

Another pleasant stay at Bar Harbor Oceanside KOA. The staff is always super friendly and helpful. The campground is always clean and the new dump station is very accessible.

Lots are narrow and there are few trees. It is a great campground with plenty of activities for all ages. Take advantage of the shuttle into Bar Harbor since parking is expensive and difficult. Loved the lumberjack show down the road.

This was my second year... excellent as usual even with the rain the bathrooms were kept pretty darn good. wonderful natural Maine setting for camping.

The site was not level and was muddy and had dog poop on the site. I had a cold shower at 9 pm and half the washing machines did not work.

The campground is beautiful and clean, but I was in a tent surrounded by RV's. I thought there was campsites in the woods, I used to come here every Summer and this trip was not what I remembered at all.

The only thing nicer than the views at this campground are the people who work there! One person was kinder than the next. The activities for kids were great. The facilities were spotless. This campground is clearly well loved, well-maintained, and will be our top choice for all our return trips to the Bar Harbor region!

Excellent staff, great activities for children. Lobster Cafe was excellent and the kids enjoyed getting ice cream. The views at this campground can’t be beat. Best view ever!

Our stay was short, but sweet. Would have liked to have a pool there for my son, and the firewood was very green, not dry.

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.

We camped here for a week and loved it. We had the perfect site and it was pretty close to Acadia National Park.
