The 36th annual trip to Bar Harbor KOA speaks for itself...36 years and counting. As seasoned campers, we appreciate the details management and the KOA crew attend to daily, weekly and annual. Annually upgrading the systems, enhancements to the various sites, and expanding rental opportunities will enhance the good times had by all. Thank you.

We traveled without a car and was disappointed that it would be $100/day for us to get to Acadia/Bar Harbor. I understand the island shuttle was still limited this year, but had we known that it would be more for transportation than for camping itself, we would have made different plans.

My kids loved this campground; close to Acadia, and great amenities for them to enjoy a day at the campground. Friendly, helpful staff, who would deliver needed items to your site after a long day. Great lobster at the airstream turned food truck. Parents and kids both give 10 out of 10!

Great property. Only but bog complaint is how dirty the bathrooms were for my entire 5 night stay. I have stayed at a few other KOA sites and I know they get heavy use and you can’t expect perfection. These bathrooms were truly dirty and uncared for. Maybe it’s hard to hire help. But maybe spend some of the considerable money you are collecting to offer a higher wage.

We booked a specific site the day before, arrived at 8pm at checkin and where told that due to the rain we had to be moved … now we got the only site that was under water and drenched … all other sites, incl our prebooked was dried up by then … it seemed someone else complained and got „our“site (and we got upgraded .. to full hook-up from an ocean view ..???)… so we were not very hap

Lots for kids to do. Great location. Beautiful sunsets. Super friendly/helpful staff. Only negative for us is it was packed and the sites are a bit close together and on a couple of nights kids were running thru the sites after 10. Parents are to blame tho, not KOA. Overall, great place to be. Also, very clean, which I appreciate!

We really enjoyed our 4 night stay, even through it did rain a lot. Stuff is well organized and always courteous and smiley. Thank you. It would be 5 stars always, but it was raining a lot and on our departure day it was sunny :). If you had spare parking lot, maybe you can allow RVs, who stay with you, to park for a few hours on their departure, so people can enjoy that last day in the park.

If it was not for the location, this KOA would not rate as well. Sites are just put next to each other with little landscaping that would lead to privacy. Some of the staff are extremely friendly and other staff really need to retire.

So the good and the bad. The staff is very friendly and helpful. My son does remote charter school and the wifi was very dependable. Sites are tight and our site 348 turns into a lake that doesn’t drain when it rains even just a little. Men’s bathrooms were disgusting but that was a guest issue not a KOA staff issue. We did have great neighbors and will be trying to make this our annual trip.

Our stay was amazing!!!! My only suggestion is that you have a separate location for employees in the campground. We were right next to an employee camper and there was a LOT of drama. People yelling, crying, and loudly discussing other employee drama.

Except for the huge crowds it was great at our site. Full ocean view and peaceful. What more can you ask. Love the updates on services you have by text especially weather updates. Thx for a most pleasant stay

Nice and clean campground, very convenient location to access different places in Acadia. We were very lucky to get Site 255 , with amazing view, right by the water. We will stay at your campground again!

Enjoyed my stay. This koa had clean facilities water front a lobster cafe which I enjoyed and shuttle to bar harbor and Acadia. Staff friendly and helpful I’ll stay here again

Our favorite site here, right on the water and we love seeing the tide come in over the rocks & recede. Sunset is beautiful! This is the most perfect KOA we have found in all the lower 48, and Barb, the manager, works hard to be sure everything is the best possible, & that everyone gets what they want. Activities abound!

The campground facilities were immaculate, if a little bit cramped. The staff were all terrific. Wish you had recycling for cans and bottles other than refundables.

Campsite and Staff wonderful. Spacious site for large tent and car, not in direct sun, enough shade, close to waterfront. Neighbor behind loud, obnoxious; woman extremely abusive towards her beautiful dog...reportable- also swearing every other f word for two hours Friday evening. Ice Cream the best! Seriously rowdy kids- 1AM close by.

We have been going for years. We had no cable and asked the office twice. The first time she said she would send somebody down, no one ever showed. Second time husband spoked to a man in the office, said we are on an island. No one ever came down. husband got fed up and looked at it himself and had to fix it himself. Grass was not cut, had to ask someone to come and cut it.

Not a bad facility but could definitely use some updates. There is no pool, the bathroom facilities are very old and could use an update. Parking spaces are crammed in, very close to neighbors. For the rate charged I expected nicer sites, spotty gravel and dirt. It is waterside, good bicycling roads, nice camp store and nice snack bar that operates out of an old converted camper.

We had another fabulous stay in site 373. This was our 17th year at Oceanside KOA. Each year adds to our wonderful memories. The improvements are delightful. We are looking forward to 2022! Thank you very much.

Our 7 year and counting. Love everything about Oceanside, the views, the helpful, courteous, and accommodating staff. Only thing lacking now is a pool. Can't wait for our eighth year.

You pay for the location next to the bay. The sites and the campground are not up to the standards of most KOA facilities.

Nice resort with a good location on the water. Sites are very close together which was expected. Great staff that all seem happy. Unfortunately the amount of dogs in this park is a big draw back. Seemed like every site around us had dogs and they all barked. Quiet by 11p usually.

Site 125 TOO small! Couldn’t even use the fire pit. No space. Noisy place.No one cares if a dog is barking inside a camper left alone. For $100 a night, it’s not a good deal. Also, cable TV advertises, but reception was terrible. The only thing good was the distance to Acadia. You guys take advantage of that by cramming people in. Loved the waterfront sites. Would not want to stay in a pull through. Sites much too close together. Bathrooms very clean and everyone was friendly.

Loved our site except for the fact that berries kept falling off of tree and covering our site. Very messy! Also, there was a dog that barked constantly. I called and complained- if anything was done about it it was hard to tell.

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
