Location, location, location! Staying right on the bay was amazing. We did not have a view from our sight but were right around the corner. Love that campers are not packed in but each have some space. Fellow campers seemed like-minded as they were quiet and respectful but chatted with several of them. Becoming stranded in Bar Harbor, we were so thankful that a staff was willing to get us.

Absolutely wonderful, had a great water view and the entire staff is great. If any management reads this the staff at Bar Harbor should be highly praised and used to train other KOA’s. They are a joy!!!!

This is our favorite spot! We are here for the entire season & love being right on the Atlantic Ocean with delightful weather. The Lobster cafe has great food w/specials, & there are always activities!

We loved our view from the campsite. Staff was very accommodating and helpful. When booking the site, I was told to book excursions upon arrival. However, when checking with the booking agent all the excursions we were interested in were already booked. I would recommend that staff tell guests to book activities in advance.

Not well maintained, crowded and overpriced. Resort prices to park in grass that needed mowing. Could have been a stunning campground on this prime real estate but it was not.

Great campground, clean and close to Bar Harbor. The Lobster Trap Cafe was great, but expensive. Very friendly and accommodating staff, no issues there!

Very clean bathrooms. Hot, clean showers. Staff was pleasant & helpful. Lobster Cafe was delicious from my morning iced coffee to my lobster dinner! Site was good. Only downfall was laundry machine were pretty much all broken. Only 2 washers worked and a few dryers. Enjoyed our first experience there.

My only issue is that I requested a sewer site, and also to be close to the cabins. I did not get either one and I did not get a heads up asking if that was OK or not. I never camp in a non-sewer sit I understand that sewer sites are limited at this location but I still think contact should’ve been made advising me that that was not an option before my arrival so that I could’ve chose to conti

The first site we were placed into was too unlevel for us too use. The staff immediately found us a new site and it was great. Many thanks for the quick resolution. The park is clean, and convenient to the local activities.

They don’t spray for mosquitoes so you get eaten alive. Plus, it wasn’t very clean and the grass was long which didn’t help with the mosquito situation.

Nice place, everything very expensive. Cheap toilet paper in bathrooms though. Liked being by the ocean. No one mowed our grass prior to pulling in, grass was ankle high and we were there for 5 days.

This is our favorite KOA that we’ve stayed at and we look forward to our stay every year. The bathrooms have always been impeccable and the remodel of the showers was a nice surprise this year. The manager, Barbie, and her staff do an amazing job and are always incredibly helpful and friendly. We’re already looking forward to our stay next year.

Everyone was extremely pleasant and helpful.The owners are working to upgrade the call campground as well as the patio sites. I think the reservation system needs to be better understood as we requested side-by-side and l was told that wasn’t possible.In talking with the individual between us he indicated that he would’ve been happy to be in either one of the other sites. I would go back

For $119 a night I expected somewhat level campsites and clean bathhouses that had hot water in the showers. I saw none of that. The staff was polite and the only positive experience we had.

I was overcharged. I explanation I am sleeping overnight in my van. They said I had to pay for a site that had electric and water even though I have no electric, water, or sewer hookups. I felt ripped off. Wasted $135..

This KOA was good. It’s a great place to stay if you are headed to Bar Harbor, Acadia National Park, etc. The friendly staff, plenty of activities for all, and cafe/snack food was great. The cold water only (for the environment)washing machines took 2 washes to clean laundry (not good for the environment) crowded sites, and lack of a pool were negatives for us. Despite that, we would stay again.

It was a beautiful stay, as we were located at site 365, very close to the water. All the folks who were working were kind and helpful, and the environment was friendly overall. We are thinking of coming back with our daughters as it's also kid friendly. Stunning sunset, killer clam chowder, and super close to Acadia!

Staff was super nice and helpful. And we had a lovely view of the water. We did have a neighbor who left their dogs unattended for 3 evenings in a row and they barked the entire time.

Great location for exploring everything around Acadia. They have a great cafe and lobster boil. Would give it 5 stars but the laundry facility is in need of some much needed attention and is too small for this size campground.

Workers very friendly and helpful. Clean facilities and sites. Short distance to Acadia and Bar Harbor. However, sites are very small and close together. Firepits extremely close together at front of sites which made it difficult to back in and dangerously close to the only area to park your vehicle. Extremely close camping in a grass/sand parking lot.

Clean. Beautiful views. Spaces were a little tight but normal for a KOA. Very quiet at night. Staff was great and friendly. Prices at cafe were a little high but food was good. Great location to visit Acadia.
