Too difficult to find a level spot on the site we were assigned and there were no shower facilities

It is a lovely family oriented place, with lots of activities, a store and a snack bar; close to everything and yet far enough away. We are pretty new to RVing and have not quite mastered backing into a lot. The staff helped us to back up into our lot which was greatly appreciated. Any question I had during our stay was answered with a smile. Very pleasant stay.

A trailer pulled in next door after 10pm with so much slamming of doors and banging, crashing and shouting to each other that we were woken up. Then they proceeded to have a campfire and sit and talk about 3 ft from our trailer. The park is nice but no space between sites which is a common complaint. Should not allow entry after 9pm.

Beautifully maintained park, lots of activities planned. Offers a take out kitchen, pizza delivery to your site. Also offers a adult camping section with cement pads and patios, bbq grill included. Very friendly professional staff. Plenty of drive through sites. Cabin camping also available.

My only complaint is that you don’t have enough Deluxe Cabins, so it’s hard to get a booking.

I was never able to get on WiFi either visit. We had friends visit and feel bad that they had to pay to get in,but I know that is a common practice. We did however enjoy our dinner on the lovely patio.

Loved it for my first stay. Was excited about the coffee machine but didn’t use it. A little dirty a good clean would have been good. Only thing I’d change is the couch that’s in the room. One that would be easy to wipe down and clean would have been greate especially during COVID. Wasn’t comfortable sitting on it. Otherwise great stay lots of activities for the kids. Stay was fine. Out complaint was inflexibility in cancellation. We were booked at Toronto West KOA arriving 31 August. We arrived two days earlier. We called Toronto West to change our arrival date but the advised our site was full. We then booked wo nights at KOA Barrie. However, about 30 minutes later Toronto West called and our site was free. Barrie KOA refused to refund deposit.

we stayed in the deluxe cabins as usual. No concerns. Looks like they have done some landscaping over the break and it’s beautiful. Ended up leaving a day early as the weather was too hot, and COVID protocols were not being followed in the pools and our young son was unable to swim at all due to this (unable to be vaccinated this time). It's not really our thing (KOA style camping). We're far more interested in camping in Provincial and National Parks. Having said that, for what it is, the Barrie KOA was very nice. Certainly if we ever had a need to stay there again, we would. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, and I found everybody was following all COVID precautions sufficiently.

We had a great time, and we will definitely return. Everything was very convenient and staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a very family friendly place. The pool was great. The bathrooms and showers were very nice. Got to see a comedian, named Matt Watson, and he was very entertaining. Fun things to see and do for families.

1st time at this KOA. Far superior to other KOA's we've seen. LOVED the adult section! No yelling, screaming radios and late night parties. Very clean grounds by staff.. Front desk staff really great inc Lindsay helping find site vacancies. Pizza not so good and those staff seemed perhaps unhappy/bored there one night? Overall, a positive experience. They understand rv'ers needs.

Probably one of the best KOA’s in Ontario. Very clean, well maintained, activities that are for a wide range of ages not just the littles. The pizza and bakery selection is a really nice touch and was really good too. There’s a lot of teens working (which is great) but I wish senior staff kept them more in the know on the activities. Whenever we would ask they didn’t seem to know much.

The only thing we noticed was the speed of the gators, golf carts and vehicles. Everything else was awesome would stay there again.

Very good campsite. But our tent site #18 and #19 had very little grass and was mostly dirt instead. Another thing we noticed was that a couple of tent sites had more than designated people (more than 7 people) staying overnight in one tent site. There should be better monitoring for that. Also, we saw some people getting their own wood- please try to monitor that better if possible.

dogs from a trailer parked directly next to our site (Rottweiler and German Shepard) who woke us at night barking aggressively, and who were allowed to roam freely, in our campground site and come to our tent door. Because of this I didn’t feel safe. I had a 1 year old, 3 year old and 6 year old and feel staff should of not let this happen. And music loud outside said trailer till 3am waking us

We had an awesome time at the Barrie KOA. The cabins were clean and well maintained. The facilities and grounds were well kept. And the staff were incredible. We will definitely be coming back. ����������

First time staying in one of your cabins. A little more info on what is in each cabin (i.e.- what is actually in a partial kitchen) Also you should really change out the sofa bed mattress once in a while - the one we had wasn’t even usable - had to take matresss off of bunks ��

We stayed in the adult section of the park as we have done over the past few years. Great setting and very quiet. We always select the deluxe patio cement pull-thru section. However, the reason we do not give the highest rating is poor internet. Our neighbours agreed. Staff only masked the issue by suggesting it was being highly used. No issues with other KOA's in Ontario we have stayed at.

Lovely, clean campsite. Great family activities offered every day even during COVID! Amazing restaurant/cafe that delivers delicious homemade pizza right to your campsite! The service is top notch. They really can’t do enough for you! The location, amenities and the service make this campsite stand out from the rest! Can’t wait to come back!!

Everyone is a so efficient and so very friendly all the time. Such a pleasure to camp here. I bought some water in the camp store. My back is sore so I asked if they could deliver it to my sight. It was there before I was able to get there myself. That's service!

It was great stay but at times the workers didn’t make you feel welcome. It was a bit disappointing to see adults drinking booze and vaping at the pool.

We stayed for 3 nights over an extremely hot weekend in August. Overall our stay was quite good. The campground was quite quiet which says a lot for the activities that were provided to keep the children entertained throughout the day. We would stay again.

Nothing to do in adult section. Wifi is horrible. This park is way overpriced. There are no bathrooms in the adult section either. Non adult section loaded with children and seemed quite crowded. Definitely not a u.s. koa.

Great campground, been coming here for over thirty years We took premium site ,adult only. C80 Our view was the old fence and maintenance building... would not pick that site again.

This is as close as I want to having a 2nd home. We joke and call it our cottage. The staff are nothing short of amazing!. And the accomodations are perfect for someone with my needs (AC/Heat/Shower/TV).

This was our nicest stay during our two weeks RV experience. The camp is nice, clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and the fire wood is dry and from good quality. We would come back for sure!
