This was our first visit to this KOA. The staff was amazing including Phoenix who was in charge of taking us to our site and assisting with getting the fifth wheel backed into the site. She gave us lots of useful information and her and the entire staff were friendly and inviting anytime we saw them. We try to take 10-12 trips a year, a great example of why we stay at KOA's almost exclusively.

We really enjoyed our stay at this campground. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Park was very well maintained and clean. Will stay here again for sure. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable.

good location, access to the water/beach of Willapa Bay, very helpful and friendly operators, felt very secure, my only complaint is the sites are very close together.

Very clean campground. Super friendly staff. Quiet. Only downside was not being able to have a campfire (not the staffs fault as they checked everyday if the burn ban was being lifted). Easy access to the beach. Kids playground and area to play was a nice feature along with the fenced off leash area for dogs.

We enjoyed our stay, the first time visiting the Pacific Northwest. I loved the path to the beach and the cute decorations, especially the sasquatch and the oystering items. Nice sites with great privacy plantings. Clean bathrooms and showers.

Quiet, clean and pretty KOA with a short hike to the clamming beach. Such a wonderful time with the family. Would definitely come back next year.

Was very clean and had a nice play area for my dogs. Great little walk in the back that goes to the beach ,there was also clamming available with license .

nice sites, great staff. campers & staff observed covid-19 regulations. felt very comfortable staying there. having access to the beach was an added benefit. My wife really enjoyed looking for shells on the beach. would stay here again.

This is a sweet, peaceful KOA tucked in the woods by Willapa Bay. We are new to RV camping, and the staff were incredibly helpful in guiding us into our camping location and getting our RV situated just right. The campground is clean and has a number of delightful surprises tucked in various places around the campsites and the trail.

The park was very clean; the staff were very friendly, courteous, and considerate. We really liked the little touches to make the park unique and individual, such as the gnomes, fishing nets and floats, the oyster farming information, and the interesting games for kiddies and the ancient old kids. We enjoyed our stay very much, except the weather, and that's mostly beyond human control.

Ken and Iris are remarkable, as is their assistant, Phoenix, caring, loving people who place the care of their "camping friends" foremost in their vision of doing business. Bay Center is by far my favorite KOA location and I will always stay with them if the opportunity presents itself. Steve Windell

This was our first trip with our new travel trailer. We had a wonderful time. The staff are so nice, kind and helpful. There store was equipped with things we had not purchased yet, which made it really easy to adapt to trailer life. We brought our fur-baby and were pleasantly surprised that they had an off-leash dog area with Yappie Hour. � Easy access to the beach. So peaceful and quiet. LOVE

This KOA is an incredible park with two special people, Iris and Ken, running the operation! Friendly, competent, helpful at all times. They go the extra distance to serve their customers! If that were not enough, they serve gourmet ice cream and pizza! We will return this season. Bill and Kathy

We had a great time .It was our first stay. The hostess went beyond helpful. We had a sick dog and was hoping to find pumpkin to feed him in their store . Did not have it but she had it . Gave us her can and was very concerned for our pet. He got better. Caring people and kind .Have our vote

Friendly, helpful staff. Understand the burn ban but propane firepits should be allowed. We clammed during our stay and dug our limits within 45 min. Fun place!

Very pleasant customer service. This was only our second camping trip with our truck camper and our first stay at a KOA. We were very happy with our stay and amenities. We did leave early due to the smoke but that was unavoidable wherever we went.

We had a very nice tent site with electricity which was a new feature for us. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. The trail down to the bay had some fun surprises along the way.

Great access to the beach. The place was friendly and clean. The only two complaints were 1. The dog leash rule was not enforced and my lab pup was attacked by two German Shepards. No blood but scared the wife and pup. 2. The remote control cars speeding up the drive in front of our camp was unsafe.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Pets are family and we recognize this was scary for all parties involved. Please be assured that we do enforce the leash law on the campground. The incident with your pup and the german shepards was immediately addressed and taken care of.

The grounds were very well kept and they had a lot of fun things to do for kids. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. We feel like we found a true hidden gem. We will for sure return!

With the chaos of 2020 it was nice to get away. The couple that run this place are nice, helpful & respectful. We ended up extending our stay an extra night due to smoke from the wildfires back home. The campground isn't extravagant but its has some fun things to do & a nice nature trail to the Willapa Bay beach. The beach is okay, you'll have to contend with seaweed but can walk a mile at lowtide

Great stay. Was hot, hot, hot first day (Wed.), much better on Thur, Fri. Stayed away from most of the OR wild fire smoke but still had red sun mornings. Thanks for a great camp site for my RV & tent. Highly recommend your facility and will be back again soon. John

They did a great job of welcoming us and providing everything we needed for a great stay. There is beach access from the campground and they rent the calming equipment to you on site. The cabin we stayed in had an outdoor patio area with a propane grill, table & chairs, and a fire pit. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. 5 stars and we plan to go back!

Our family had a great time staying here. They had games for the kids on the weekends and it created a real community feel. We tried the clamming and it was pretty fun. We will definitely be back!

Super nice and super clean. Very quiet. Our site was secluded and close to the beach trail. The beach was wonderful! We had a nice long walk.
