I would rate this stay a 5 except for the fact the site was pretty hard to get positioned to open the slide. I was able to open it but it was very tight. When I was done with setup I checked receipt emailed and it said no slide. I wasn’t asked so I assumed it wouldn’t be a problem. The staff should be reminded to ask before assigning a unit to a narrow site.

Campground is nice. Great location off of Interstate 80 for travelers to come and spend the night or two. We had a patio site that was quite nice. It included a built in fireplace, table and chairs and grill. Store delivered wood to us and refilled our grill propane when asked to. There is a bit of highway noise but cant' help that because of location. Wish there were more and better activities.

We actually stayed here twice on our vacation: in and out. Very clean (including restroom/showers which are private) ... rather quiet (except for the road noise but that's minimal) ... lots of things for kids to do (building bike course). Worked with us for an add'l day: very nice people. We will definately stay here again!

Courteous staff. Easy access to the site. Road from interstate to the campground fairly narrow which the KOA has no control over. Just a heads up. Sites are long and level. We stayed once and returned. Recommend this location.

We had a pull-thru patio site and, while nice, certainly wasn't worth $104 a night. For that price I expect a paved pad and, at the very least, a level site. The campground is clean, with a newer bath house, and the camp store was nice. Not that you can do anything about it, but the noise from I-80 was annoying.

This is our second time back to this KOA. We love it! The bathrooms and showers are nice and clean, the parking spots are easy to pull into, the pond is beautiful and there’s so much to do for the kids. Great walking trails for the dogs as well. We will definitely be back next year.

We chose this KOA to stay while attending the Penn State game. The campground is very well kept, clean and many great features. Staff friendly and helpful. VERY convenient to the game! The only reason not 5-star- the water/cable hookups were on the door side of the camper right where our steps came out, very much in the way especially with small kids or pets. Other than that, highly recommend!

It would have been nice to not have so much cut grass on the patio. Blow it off, at the rate of the patio sites. When I mow, I blow, so folks do not track all that grass into the house. It is worse for a camper, grass all over the floor from the recent cut left on the patio.

Great pull through site, level pads, spacing is good and roads are in great shape. The staff was very helpful at check-in, the facilities are build with great quality and design and the park is easy to get to off the interstate. For a bonus if you book their new pull through area, you get a stunning veiw of the Shenandoah Mountains.

Friendly staff, Sam, at check-in. Parking spots were too short and the lot incline was so steep we almost drug our sewer pipe. Out lot was muddy because of the rain; could use more gravel. Only stayed one night so we were located with the seasonal camp sites. Very quiet area. Shared water and cable connections with neighbor. This lot should have been a back-in lot to avoid the steep incline.

Rained our entire stay and it was muddy everywhere. The site was just grass, no gravel or concrete, so our site and roads where muddy. On a positive note, you set your trash out and they come pick it up. Very courteous office staff and workers.

Its always a pleasure to stay at the Bellefonte KOA. Its like going home. we've been camping with Dillon family for 30 plus years and they have always made us feel welcome. they have worked very diligently to upkeep the sites, have added new deluxe cabins and recently putting in a bike park. alot of activities for the kids and a very safe environment . we will stay there again and again

The low rate pull thru sites are uphill so much that leveling javks are unusable. I could not level the trailer. My shore power cable was 5 ft above the ground

The staff at the office was friendly! The sites with gravel are in need of repair and leveling, just some site maintenance! Would probably stay again!

Kasey is an amazing campground host. He's always very pleasant (from the first phone call on....) and very accommodating. He went out of his way to help us this past weekend. Only comments I'd add is that perhaps they could more frequently trim back some branches in areas where your camper or tow vehicle may come in contact with them while navigating into the site.

We have enjoyed staying at this KOA over the years. This is the first time we used the new restroom/bathroom facilities, which are very nice. They make an already great KOA even better!

We have stayed at this campsite many times over the years and have adjusted to all the pull through sites available to us. This past weekend we stayed in a new spot and it was very tight and hard to manage and maneuver. Quite disappointing based on my past experience at this site. Not all places are created equal. We were disappointed in this stay.
