Awesome time with the my kids! Great scenery this time of year! Our spot was pretty spacious! Will be back!

I stayed for 2.5 weeks at this KOA. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The staff were very accommodating, and even allowed me to extend my stay when I needed extra days! My only complaint was with the weather; my tent site was alongside a hill, and since it kept raining for most of my stay, my site became ridiculously muddy and covered my equipment and myself in mud. Dirty, but fun!

We have always loved the Bellefonte KOA and we try to stay here every time we camp for a PSU football game. The amenities and grounds are always amazing and the staff is always pleasant and friendly. The only issue this particular trip was 2 groups camping at the top of the hill (tent area). It appeared to be a sorority one night and a fraternity the next night.

Friendly staff, great location with easy access to Penn State, and very nice restrooms.

It’s a beautiful KOA. Run very well. And I’ve always felt safe staying there. But Friday night there was a woman was drunk and yelling for hours and it was very disruptive as we were trying to sleep. We were in a tent and the weather was not good and she made for a very difficult evening for us. Not sure why someone did not put an end to it.

Very muddy - surge protector detected error - took 1 hour to get it fixed

The bathrooms needed stocked. Many times we went to use them the hand soap or towels would be empty. They stayed that way all weekend. Quiet time is also very late at 11pm

Really great vibe at the campground. Space to be you yet have the amenities available where and when. Also super cute store and decorations. Love the KOA painted pumpkin.

weekend stay. very nice overall but vehicles driving threw very fast at 2am at night Friday..

Stay was super. Staff was great. Only issue...in our opinion- not enough bathrooms. And, would be nice to have "squeegies" or some system to get water to drain better in the bathrooms.

We thought our tent site was great being that we only had neighbors on one side. Also loved the bathhouse by the tent sites with individual shower/bathrooms. Check-in was easy, too.

Was very happy with the campground. Was a quick trip so we didn’t get to check out all the amenities, but people were friendly, bathrooms were very nice and look forward to planning another visit.

Someone else took the site we had specifically booked months ago and they gave us a hard time when we asked if they were in the right spot. Put a damper on the start of our weekend because we had booked so far in advance and we’re looking forward to getting back to “our old site” again.

My 7yo son and I had an excellent first tent camping stay! We cooked over the fire, played lots of uno, read lots of books. Poor internet access/quality ended up being a blessing. My son loved spending hours at the mining area. Pleasantly surprised at how quiet and peaceful our stay was considering it was a PSU football weekend. Will definitely tent camp here again in the future.

We loved how clean the bathroom facilities were. However our tent campsite was on a sharp Hill covered with rocks. Made it very hard to have a tent on that site. That was the only site that was like that. We will be back there to camp but we will definitely choose a different site now that we know.

The staff was kind and willing to help, the activities were fun and affordable, bathroom and sites were well maintained. Overall a lovely experience! Everything is very close together so if you're looking for privacy and if kids are not your idea of a good time ... probably not the place for you. I loved my stay and I can't wait to go back

It was my first time at a KOA and I was very pleasantly surprised! My family and I usually go to state parks with lots of trees for tent camping but we booked last minute. The tent spots at KOA surprised us but what definitely surprised us were the bathrooms! They were probably the cleanest bathrooms I have seen at a campground. The variety of activities and staff’s service was also a plus.

The employees were friendly. The activities for the kids were awesome. My grandsons had a blast. The bathroom facilities were top notch. my only complaint was the tent site which was very rocky. There were ground bees which we sprayed and they kept coming back. I spoke with an employee and she brought spray down for us but the bees were relentless. I was very worried for my family and our dog.

Making the transition from San Antonio Texas to State College Pennsylvania. I must say, the KOA Bellefonte State College was a great place to run across. We camped out in a primitive campsite for 6 days, and 1day in a cabin. Amenities, and weekend events were awesome. We felt we were in a safe place. So peaceful, tranquil , and rejuvenating. Best: large tent site. Nice showers and facilities. In tent area however, not enough toilets. Toilet with shower nice for showers and families. BUT also need a bank of toilets only. Too long a wait for a toilet, especially w/young children. Also, need a system like a bathroom door that shows red/green for occupied or not. Stress about getting access to a toilet dampened an otherwise great time
