Journey's are a lot tamer compared to some of the destination campgrounds and this one is no exception. Even with Sturgis going on a couple hours west, this was nice and quiet. The store is great and my daughter gave the frappe two thumbs up!

We couldn’t even unpack our tent without being over run by moths. We were only there for less than 30 minutes and went and got a hotel instead after driving 2 more hours. I asked for a refund but never received a reply. I would never recommend this campground to anyone. The owner sold me wood for a fire I didn’t get to have as well.

Enjoyed our stay very much. We just happened to be disappointed because it was late (sometime after midnight) when an motorhome came in and parked right next to use. It was very loud. And I was very surprised because I thought we were on the side for tents only. It was a horrible nights sleep with that RV running. The staff at the like store was very nice and it was well stocked with everything!

The owners are very accommodating and keep there camp grounds clean. No riff raff and no. Any problems they take care of it. I would recommend this koa to everyone.

Staff was pleasant to talk with but we were looking forward to using the pool with kids and it was not opened and busted apart. Just would have been nice to get email on pool being closed. Rates should have reflected it being closed also otherwise clean park and a good place stop along the way.

off highway, no traffic noise! nice site with great utility placement and worked well. restaurant right there and they deliver to trailer, yeaaa! cute little shop to browse. friendly staff, will stay again (good thing we didn’t want to use pool, under repair!) will stay again......thanks guys!

Nice and quiet site far enough away (but not too far) from the interstate.. RV sites are spaced out. Note that pool is in disrepair and unusable. Restrooms are clean.

Very friendly, very clean, and has a nice food service. Just disappointed that it listed a pool on the website, but the pool was closed for the season.

So glad they have food to order from their kitchen, makes it nice when you've been traveling and check in near dinner time. The pool was under construction, it would have been nice if it wasn't. There are two bathroom options with locks, but just need the keycode to get in. This KOA is small, but had a cute little playground, horse shoes and a small lake to explore.

Nice level concrete pads for your RV. Nice and friendly staff. Great for a stop over but not much around this year due to the pandemic. The closet fuel station more than 10 miles away. They have delivery service from their own menu for food. We did enjoy our stay. The Badlands National Park is about 40 minutes for a great site seeing your if you are there for a few days. About 1/2 mi off I-90.

We enjoyed our stay very much, the staff was fun and friendly! Everything was very clean! The dogs enjoyed the K9 Kamp, it was great to be able to let them play off the leashes. Hoping to stop back by on our way home!

The highlight of my 2-ways x-country camping! This time not as good... site 1 for lake view should not be premium site...can’t see water or lake a lot of foot traffic cause of bathrooms and when it rains as it did site became a swamp..really not premium

This place is amazing. Right off the highway and very quiet. Dog friendly too. The owners Robert and Lisa were extremely helpful when we needed our car jumped. What a blessing they are! Also, the pizza was awesome! We will be back.

Nice out stop for a long road trip. Stayed one night. Owner was very friendly. Store has everything you need. KOA is outdated and in need of work, and there were a lot of flies. Spoke with the owner and due to a slow year he was not able to make the upgrade he wanted.

People were very accommodating but reason for 3 stars is much work needs to be done. Pool has been closed for some time and their was some sort of foul Oder in some spots of campground. I think owners are trying to renovate but it takes time. Nice location.

Great location if you're going to Badlands or Mt. Rushmore. Nice facilities nice space. Only reason it's not a 5 star is because of the mosquitos. Would recommend site just bring bug spray.

Only stayed one day but everything was fine. Appreciated the owner working with us to help us join and take advantage of the rewards of joining KOA Rewards even though we didn’t realize how many KOA stops we’d be taking on our cross country trip!

Overpriced compared to several other KOAs we have stayed in the last 2 weeks. Old facility that needs updating, pool closed for renovations, that pool has been closed for years. Nice staff, food okay but expensive for what you get

Stopped here on our way to the Badlands. The owners and staff were so very kind and clearly they are investing back into the park with improvements. We enjoyed the pizza they delivered to our site. The sunset on the prairie was beautiful. Very dog friendly and convenient to I90 and the 1880's town (also very dog friendly). Very good WIFI

We loved it here. Staff is exceptionally friendly, the camp restaurant is great, close to NP, very dog friendly, beautiful night sky.

The folks who run this place are exceedingly friendly and helpful (and they have a cute dog). We stayed in a comfy little cabin for two nights and had a great experience. No big stores nearby, so make sure you pack all you need for your stay. The camp store has some extra food, small supplies, and souvenirs.
