Stay was good, sites are clean, people for most part are friendly. No swimming pool due to damage and no plans of fixing it, games in game room out dated and not working. Not much for older kids to do....

We chose this location because of 1880 town, Badlands, Wall drug and the Minutemen exhibit and museum. Worked out well. All within short driving distance. Staff was very friendly.

nice people, easy access from I 90, sites large enough. no pool, dirt and gravel roads very dusty, no patio area at sites, no sewer at sites, no shade, not worth fifty bucks a night, won't be back

Thank your for staying at our campground. We are in processing of finding a contractor to repair the pool but Covid is making it difficult. We are in the middle of the grasslands and are very tree limited. We do have sewer sites available on premises but you reserved a site without sewer.

Hot drive ended with a stop here BUT the swimming pool was not usable. It was damaged heavily and not to be repaired.

Very accommodating for our handicapped son. Delivery service for food, ice, showers, laundry service we used everyday with our son.

The bull in the pasture is very aggressive so watch out if riding a bicycle on the side road. The staff people are very polite and helpful

Short, just overnight, but very nice. For sure we will stay there again when passing thru! Enjoy!

Through no fault of their own the pool was down for a season or two. Quite, area. Far enough off of I90 you could hardly hear it. For a journey koa it wouldn’t take much to be a holiday. Cafe was awesome. Store had most everything one could possibly need. From souvenir to repair they had you covered.

The campground was ok but cost too high. Advertised a swimming pool but it was not operational. We arrived 1 hour early due to time change we were not aware of and was charged a additional $16.00.

With lots of open sites, we were put on a site with serious ground/soil disturbance. Unlevel and dangerous for walking to do hookups.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Thank you for staying with us. The site you were staying at just had the hydrant replaced a couple days prior to your stay and the ground was settling due to the new plumbing. You should had told us during your stay and we would have brought more dirt down to your site to level the ground.

Called and told them we had six kids with us for an overnight stay and they didn’t bother to mention the pool is torn to bits and not functional. $80 for an overnight stay with 6 kids and no pool. They get an extra star for the stiff breeze and site that blocked the evening sun. I swore off KOA 4 years ago due to another bad experience and this put the nail in the coffin for me. No more KOA.

Road construction unfortunately impacted the access and egress to the interstate from the campground, certainly not the fault of the campground or management. The entry to the campground was easily found and very accessible. We were very surprised and impressed with the full kitchen and menu available for campers from the office/registration/store area. the Site was clean and well tended.

It was a pleasant stay if quite hot and windy. We enjoyed having meal service after a long, hot day diving. Too bad about the pool, but we would not have used it anyway.

After a long trip we were greeted by friendly staff. They offered food options, took us to our campsite and made sure we were setup ok, then delivered firewood. The downside to this, we are all spoiled now.

We were traveling several hours and went through a time zone change, so when we arrived they charged us an early arrival fee although the site was vacated. The weather was 103 and they did not have enough power for the air conditioner to work and the swim pool was not functioning. No discount was given from them.

Thank you for staying with us on June 5th.. I wish you would have brought your a/c issue to our attention during your stay so if it had been a problem with our electric it could have been addressed. Our check in time states 1 pm Mountain so cleaning and maintenance can be completed.

Super nice people. Beautiful place to watch sunset. We were traveling from NC to Montana with three horses and they accommodated us with a place to set up temporary fence for the horses.

What an amazing, beautiful spot. Sites are extremely spacious, especially for a KOA. Staff were all friendly. Ordered dinner from restaurant, it was like a nice home cooked meal. Thank you To everyone at Belvidere East KOA!

Huge campsites, no interstate noise, beautiful lake, very helpful & friendly people/staff, located close to The Badlands, Minute-Man Missile Museum, & Wall Drug...great place to "get away"!

Only thing was they did not put us together even though when we checked in there were no one next to either one of us so felt they could have moved someone since we had made reservations early enough and were KOA members

Pool was closed eventhough website said open. With two small children I booked a KOA for the pool, wouldn't have stayed here if the website had accurate information and we had know they couldn't go swimming. Staff was very nice

Long day of driving brought us to this quiet, sparsely occupied campground (I understand next day was full). Stream behind had a lot of wildlife that talked all night long-Peaceful!

The owners Robert and Lisa and all the workers are OUTSTANDING!!! Chatting with us along with Ken and his wife, who recommended the wine. They all went above and beyond on our overnight stay. They are very pet friendly! They put us up on a spot that was very spacious, the view of everything was absolutely amazing. Terrific food a must try and Mike delivered to our site. Jenn chris ritter

Great stay as expected. Friendly staff with a nice selection of quick food in the evening. Note for kiddo's... pool inoperative and looks like it will be for an extended time. Perfect for overnight otherwise.

Very nice park, not near any restaurants or shopping but that was ok with us. Campground does have a kitchen and they’ll deliver to your door which was great!!!! Staff was very nice and accommodating!!! You can see the interstate but couldn’t hear any noise at all. Easy on and off of interstate and easy in and out of park/sites. Sites are small but fine for an overnight stay!!!!

Stopped here on our way to the Badlands. The owners and staff were so very kind and clearly they are investing back into the park with improvements. We enjoyed the pizza they delivered to our site. The sunset on the prairie was beautiful. Very dog friendly and convenient to I90 and the 1880's town (also very dog friendly). Very good WIFI

We loved it here. Staff is exceptionally friendly, the camp restaurant is great, close to NP, very dog friendly, beautiful night sky.

The folks who run this place are exceedingly friendly and helpful (and they have a cute dog). We stayed in a comfy little cabin for two nights and had a great experience. No big stores nearby, so make sure you pack all you need for your stay. The camp store has some extra food, small supplies, and souvenirs.
